I bought the Power Fresh Steam Mop after moving to a new home with tile floors and noticing that my old steam mop was leaving streaks. After vacuuming, my floors will look clean then I run this mop and I am amazed at how much dirt it picks up. I love that it is light weight, easy to use, and requires only one refill to clean my entire house.

I had mopped my floors several days before but when the mop came, I decided to give it a whirl. I was shocked at how dirty the mop pad was. It wasn't just dirty, it was gross. I'm glad I made the purchase. I wish it came with more attachments!

I have pergo in my house, and i'm always 'sponge' mopping. . ..NO MORE. . .this thing is the cat's meow! My floors have never been this clean, and it's way easier than wringing out a sponge mop every other stroke. I wish I would have bought one of these long ago. Stop wasting your money on mops/pine SOL. The only short coming i could find is the water cup could be a little bigger. I had to fill it twice for my average size house.

I bought the PowerFresh® Steam Mop 1940 about a month ago based on great reviews. They are all true!! I was able to put together intuitively in a couple minutes. Only need one Phillips screwdriver for the one screw, and ready to go. The water tank is easy to remove and I can do my entryway, bathrooms, kitchen and laundry and still have water left in tank. I use R.O. water, and when I'm finished, I empty the tank and leave it out to dry out and wipe any excess water around where it fits to unit. Then throw the mophead, which you can easily remove by the pull tab, so as not to burn your hand., into the washing machine on hot water with just detergent, and you're done!!! It's as easy to use as it was to put together. The people here at Bissell have really been helpful, as I had a lot of questions before purchasing. I give it 5 stars, but it really deserves more!! I bought this steamer to clean my tile and laminate floors. I was using the BONA system before which was also great but it is so nice not to have to keep running back and forth to the laundry room. Heats up quickly, does a beautiful job of cleaning the floors and the grout lines. So happy I got this.

The first delightful surprise was how easy it was to assemble - one screw and one click! The next delightful surprise was how lightweight the mop is and how easy to maneuver in tight spaces like in the bathroom around the toilet. I also like how I can easily launder the mop pads. Finally, I appreciate the variable levels of steam so I have cleaner high traffic areas and kitchen. The best surprise is how quickly I finished the job. I suggest two improvements: a flat bottom on the water tank and an on/off switch to prevent flashes from the outlet. I would recommend this steam mop to my friends.

My Dad bought this steam mop and was telling me great it was, so I bought one too. I knew if he liked it that it must be good. And he was right! I absolutely LOVE my steam mop. It changes everything. I used to wash on my hands and knees, but I'm not able to do that anymore, and this is the closest thing I've found. The floors get super clean and it's actually fun! You get 2 mop covers, so I do the kitchen, then foyer & then end with the bathroom on one cover. Then I put on the second one to do the other bathroom. And you just throw them in the washer and dryer after and they're ready for next time. And...the floors dry on their own without having to go around drying them with a rag under your foot! Treat yourself to this!

I have both the PowerFresh® Steam Mop Hard Floor Steam Cleaner | 1940 and the PowerEdge™ Lift-Off® Steam Mop Hard Surface Steam Cleaner | 20781. A couple of things that really stand out about this steamer - I like the stand on the PowerFresh. Although I realize that my PowerEdge doesn't really need it (it's a triangle shape) but I always feel like the PowerFresh stays a little cleaner because it has more distance from the floor to allow for the bottom to dry. I have not really used the scent discs much. I used them early on but haven't for a while. They are REALLY strong. I usually wet the pad I use and put a little floor cleaner on it. I love that I don't have to use more grip strength to keep the mop making steam. (The PowerEdge does require that.) The PowerFresh came with two pads. The one without grips is easier to use on gummy or grimy surfaces. BUT the one with grips, really does help clean messes. I have used this time and again to clean a floor in our basement as we have been remodeling it. While this product is a straight floor steamer and doesn't have the extra attachments (like the PowerEdge) for using it on anything but floors, it is able to squeeze in some tighter areas - around toilets, etc. I have not used the little brush on the back much.

I have three dogs and I must say, this is The BEST mop I have ever owned!!!! My floors are clean in a fraction of the time, with impressive results, and without all the chemicals. If you are hesitant, do yourself a favor, make the purchase, you won't be sorry!!!!!! I also purchased the 3-in-1 vac which makes sweeping all that dog hair a breeze!!!

I was really excited to get this mop, so I could toss the old bucket away. However, I found this very difficult to use. It did not go forward. The pad kept getting caught and going underneath. I tried the other pad and same thing happened. When it did work, the pad got dirty, so I assumed it worked. It seems like the elastic is not tight enough. I am really bummed. I will be returning this.
