The small brush that you can press down (and one thing I was looking forward to) is to be honest useless. It does not really provide any difference in the cleaning process - although it sounded like a great concept. The steamer itself is good until the cloth gets too wet and then it is just water. I love the long cord that it comes with and the size of the water receptacle as it allows to clean a bigger surface than my previous one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the mop on the tile flooring in our house. It does an effective job of cleaning. I have only used the new mop twice, but I had the same model for about four years, before it just died. Previous to that I had a different Hoover steam mop, but it lasted only a year before mineral build up killed it. Since that time I have always used distilled water in it. The new one appears to be exactly the same as the previous one, with the same drawbacks: finicky (sticks easily during a pivot, if not just at the angle it likes), water container cap is substandard (not robust enough and washer is finicky --- one on previous model cracked about 1 1/2 years in and I had to glue it together to avoid waiting for a replacement order) and the final drawback is that the air freshener discs come in small quantities at a sky high price (that price is before shipping, as I haven't seen any stocked in local stores).

The steam and Stanley Steamer spot remover got all the dirt out. Using steam is the only way to clean carpets. It's a great steamer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes cleaning my tile floors easy. I also use it on wood floors that need just a quick touchup, not when they need a thorough cleaning. With multiple pet fosters, i need to clean regularly (often daily--or a couple times a day, so easy is important. I need to order a couple of sets of cleaning pads because i can't keep up with washing the 2 pads included.

I use this on hardwood, tile and pergo flooring. With the pergo I use a microfiber cloth on a swifter handle to help buff out any water streaks left by the steam. Everything else dries up perfectly and the house smells fresh without the use of chemicals. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say, I'm impressed. It's light and really easy to maneuver. My floors are spotless and feel incredibly clean. I can do the whole kitchen two time's over with the water container. I also use this in my tile shower and it works great.

I have owned the last Bissell hard surface steam cleaner for quite a few years and needed a new one. This new one is very lightweight and I don't have to hold the button down for steam. I think this steam cleaned so much better than the old one and I like the wider cleaning path too. Hope to own this one for many years too. Thanks for improving on a good product to make it better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love, love, love my new Bessel Steam Mop! It was super easy to assemble and set up. It is also very easy to use, little effort is needed. I really like the fact that I can change the steam setting to match the type of flooring. The scrubber brush on the back of it makes it easy to get difficult stubborn sticky stuff up. You cannot go wrong with this model steamer!
