Mega Capacity with Inverter HeatPump™ Technology and Direct Drive Motor, Model # WM6998HBA features an Auto-Cleaning condenser, and the water input at the end of the cycle is directed to the condenser to clean any remaining lint. It should not be dumping water into the drum.
