We purchased our first All in One last year for our Guests. We havent used it much. We decided to get one for our household. From the beginning we realized we had made a mistake. The clothes came out with a horrible stench and the worst part is that it takes SIX hours to do one load. Not even big load. We have asked for return and refund now and still havent heard back.

Dealing with LG was a nightmare - they were slow to respond, stopped responding, I had to nag them every day, meanwhile I had no working washer. This is a known defect design flaw, see Reddit for more. Shame on LG.

Buyer beware. It's not a good product.
Well first of all we were lied to and told you can wash and dry in under 2 hours. Not true. This item is not worth the price and is not energy efficient. If I could give a zero stars I would. It collects a lot lintand you have to drain it monthly or sooner due to water building up. You can only get one maybe if your lucky two loads done in a day. Definitely not for a family.

A great washer AND dryer!
We are *delighted* with this product! We have been using it for about 6 months and have had no problems. One caution: unlike single purpose machines it is important to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! Don’t overload and make sure to clean the filter on the top of the machine after every use. It can do sheets, towels and heavier items without a problem as long as you don’t overload. We are amazed at how effective the heat-pump drying cycle is: the clothes really are toasty warm when they come out! We would definitely buy this combo again. If you are tall the pedestal is a favor to your back. What a space-saver and no dryer vent needed!
Faulty Machine. DO NOT BUY
Don't get this product. It's nice at first and pretty and the idea of having a washer and dryer combo is a cool idea. It is quiet, but not efficient in drying properly. Pet hair is an issue too. You can't wash large loads of laundry and expect them to dry. You have to run a dry cycle 4-5 times sometimes to even get your clothes remotely dry. Of course it isn't ventilated it's all electronically heated so that poses an issue of drying properly. Ours also started leaking even with all the cleaning and safety regulations we do after each wash. A huge pool of water below the machine occurred out of no where and none of the filters or parts seemed to be damaged and we did all we were suppose to do to clean it after each use. Don't get this combo.

I got my machine about a month ago and find it deposits lint on the gasket around the door. It doesn't matter if it is washing or drying. This lint is very hard to remove. Also I have had to change the way I sort the clothes and in some insitances it takes me longer to do my laundry. I do love the extra space in my laundry room.

So it doesn’t go through a whole cycle without the filter saying it’s popped up. So we have to keep something heavy on top of it so it goes through the cycle. Would be great if we could get a new filter since we have insurance on it.

Worth the upgrade!
We bought this unit because we live in a very small house and wanted the space savings. My wife had a combo w/d unit 10-15 years ago that didn’t work well and was hesitant to get another, but after seeing the advances to these units over the years we decided to try it. Plus this is a heat pump unit. It has been great so far. It’s cleans and dries your clothes just like it’s supposed to. The heat dryer is definitely a plus, you can tell it’s gentler on the clothes and much more energy efficient (not just blowing hot air outside). The unit is also SIGNIFICANTLY quieter than our prior stackable w/d which was only 4 years old. Super easy to use, and not that I wanted another app on my phone but it does work well with the app.
