It's amazing technology (the heat pump tech) and yes it dries clothes fully. If you choose Wash+Dry, they come out warm and dry. There are many options so you can do Wash Only, Dry Only as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical and apprehensive about switching from my old top loader to new technology - an All-in-One.  This is what I have  experienced and learned:    The electronic controls are easy to navigate and give a wide array of options, including extra rinses and hits of steam. Enough  Liquid detergent can be loaded into the dispenser to do 10 loads  before refilling.  The appliance has a huge capacity and can easily handle large loads of laundry.   It is very quiet and it takes up less space in my laundry room.  The removal of lint is super simple.    So far, I have found the results to be very good.  Our clothes come out sweet smelling and soft.  I do not use extra softeners or dryer sheets.  is wonderful to put a load of laundry in in the evening before bed and be able to get up and put it away in the morning.....all dry.    I   I purchased a pedestal for the unit in order to lift it up to a more comfortable height and for the extra storage space.   I am very pleased and happy with this qppiliance and am looking forward to using it for years to come.

I recently purchased the Ventless Washer/Dryer Combo LG WashCombo and it is seriously game changing! As someone with limited space, and a busy lifestyle, this all-in-one machine has been an absolute game changing! I use to have a stackable and dryer. Making this switch has allowed us to have the space to add shelving on top. With 2 kiddos, we are also constantly doing laundry. Not having to worry about switching clothes from a washing machine to a dryer has taken a huge weight off our shoulders! I highly recommend this washer/dryer for busy on the go parents that are constantly doing laundry. Other reviews have complained about it taking forever to dry clothes but we have not had a problem with it at all, it dries are clothes so quick and leaves are clothes so clean. We seriously love it so much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first LG washing machine! So far it’s great! Learning experiences for sure, but worth every penny! The first few washes had a strong odor of machining I would say. I ran a tub clean cycle with bleach two times and now there is no smell. I also followed instructions of washing the first load as 6 towels. I also did white towels to add bleach as well. Definitely a game changer, as I thought it would be tough not doing multiple loads at once-as you would with separate units. But it just takes a little planning and now it is easier. I love using my ThinQ app to show me where it is in the process. I use the same laundry detergent for every load, and while this may not be a new feature, I love the fact I can load in all detergent and fabric softener in bulk. While this unit is heavier than most, the amount of laundry that it can hold is outstanding. I’d like to do a follow up review once my electric bill comes. It’s only hooked up with 110, where my old washing machine was 110 but my dryer was 220.

I was skeptical about getting the machine after reading the reviews but I figured I would give it a chance. I have not had any issues with my machine. I fill the washer to about half or a little bit more than half so it gives space for my clothes to properly dry and fluff up. The time may seem long for it to complete the whole process but its the same time as if I were to do it the old fashion way. I can place a load in before bed and it's ready to go the next day. It saves me time from transferring clothes from one machine to the other. I am in love with the app too. It sends me alerts of when my cycle is done so I can get my clothes. Overall, this machine is great and I love it. If you do your research, you will see that this machine is really great and it is a time saver. Just don't overfill your machine for great results.

I have used unit as wash only, Dry only and also combo cycle. I have washed a broad array of fabrics including Permanent Press, towels and beddings. All have come out clean and process was effortless. I really like the automatic Soap and Fabric softener feature....and the ability to alter the amount of product being used in each. Changing default settings was very easy!!! I would highly endorse this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the LG 5.0 Cu. Ventless Washer/Dryer Combo, and it has been a game-changer for my laundry routine for past 5 months so far. This washer-dryer combo can handle large loads effortlessly, you do not need to check in for every 45min to switch over from washer to dryer. It is also very easy to clean filters. The built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows me to monitor and control the machine remotely. I receive notifications when the cycle is complete or if any issues arise. The most interesting part of this combo was it didn't require any external venting! So I still kept an old dryer and now I can run 2 dryers at the same time! Saves so much more time for a family with 2 dogs. On the other hand, it can be overwhelming at first for some people with so many features provided which may take some learning curves to get use to it. Overall, I am very satisfied so far with this LG washcombo for past 5 months. It combines convenience, performance, and smart technology which changed my laundry routines easier!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Washcombo is great. Has a lot of different settings depending on what cycle I want to put my laundry on. It’s very sleek looking. I’ve used it twice already with different amounts of laundry and everything has been washed and dried within 2.5 hours. I like that I can change the settings to wash only or dry only. It also has features for sheets and towels, delicates, and heavier loads. I’ll also be purchasing the pedestal to give the Washcombo more height. It fits very nicely in my laundry space and doesn’t take up too much room. Overall, I’m happy with the product.

What family can deal with 3 hour dry times?!!! Not my family of 8. I bought it because of the large capacity. Takes less than an hour to wash, and 3 hours to dry. What engineer thought that was a good idea!?!!

This is a review of an LG WM6998HBA washer/dryer All-in-One. I received the LG WM6998HBA washer/dryer All-in-One February the 27th as part of LG’s sampling program. The washer/dryer is a very nice-looking machine. It is a black steel in color with a smoke glass door. This is a front-loading machine with touch controls on the front and a large dial in the top center to select the wash cycles. My initial opinion is this is a neat idea! Load the machine with your laundry and cleaning products, pick a cycle, and turn it on. It does the wash and then automatically starts drying. Since this is an all-in-one machine, it eliminates the need to remove the laundry from the washer and move it to the dryer. It also eliminates the additional space of having two machines in place which is great for small spaces. The LG WM6998HBA uses inverter heat pump technology so it is ventless maximizing the locations it can be installed. There is a bit of a learning curve to using this machine so make sure to keep the owner’s manual bookmarked. The online owner’s manual is more thorough than the paper manual included with the machine. To use the machine, you push the “On” button and then use the large dial in the center to rotate to your desired cycle. Assuming you are using the default cycle you press the start button and the machine runs the cycle. If you wish to run other than a default cycle there are plenty of options. To the right of the dial is a display panel which is also a touch screen control. You can adjust your cycle from here. Some of the choices include water temperature, spin speed, soil level, and drying. Many of these sub menus contain additional levels of choices. There is an abundance of preprogrammed cycles. I counted 14 cycles on the main dial plus a tub clean cycle. I will probably use about three different cycles in my week-to-week use. There is an app for your phone LG ThinQ which allows you to set up your cycle on your phone and send it to the machine and remote start. LG ThinQ also has other features which track the cycles you have run, power usage, and allows you to add features to the machine. This is a new product for LG and I believe they did a good job but could have done a little better with the drying function. I found that most of the drying cycles took longer than the estimated display time on the machine. Frequently when the display would get down to the last 3 to 5 minutes it would add another 15 to 20 minutes sometimes more than once. In their advertisement they say “wash and dry in under 2 hours” however, I found most cycles take between 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours and 20 minutes. Sorting your clothes by material thickness is key with this machine. The estimated times are somewhat closer when sorting by thickness. If you have some thicker materials in with some thinner materials, they may still be a little damp at the end of the cycle. LG, please add a switch for the light in future models. The smoked glass door is so dark you need a flashlight to see inside after the cycle starts. In closing I would like to point out that all of my loads so far have come out clean and fresh smelling.
