I'm switching over from a washer and dryer tower, and was worried this combo machine wouldn't adequately dry my laundry. This hasn't been an issue at all. Everything can be washed and dried in 2 hours as advertised as long as the load of laundry is reasonable. I love the ventless design for this product. My old unit was in a small closet, and it was very difficult to clean the duct. Now, I never have to worry about the fire hazard of a clogged duct!

The convenience of not having to transfer loads between the washer and dryer was a major selling point for me. However, after using the machine extensively, I've found that its drying capabilities fall far short of expectations. Despite experimenting with various settings and features touted by LG, including different drying cycles and options like AI, I consistently encounter issues with damp or even wet clothes post-cycle. This has led to repeated cycles to achieve dryness, defeating the purpose of efficiency that the combo promises. The frustration is compounded by the fact that the washer performs admirably; clothes emerge clean and well-cared for. However, the dryer component of the combo consistently underperforms. Even small loads intended for quick drying often require multiple cycles or extended drying times, which is both time-consuming and wasteful in terms of energy consumption. For now, my experience with this product has unfortunately been marked by persistent disappointment.

This thing is amazing! Saves time, reduces the worry of leaving clothes too long in your washer and getting that mildewed smell, and literally requires 3 button pushes to start. The AI feature is very cool and makes the process even less involved, but I appreciate being able to just wash or just dry based on my needs for each laundry load. The unit itself is very sleek and they’ve really thought out how to improve the design (a lint trap at the top so you don’t have to lean down to clean it, no special outlet required, and no need to deal with a flimsy aluminum vent snaking out of the wall). Overall cannot recommend enough, buy this and you won’t be disappointed!

I was worried about the "digital" operation of this high tech appliance, as I am not very tech savvy. However, it is easy to learn and the results are amazing! It is a beautiful machine, takes up so much less space than the old washer/dryer set - and I can't wait to see the savings on my utility bill!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our clothes come out MUCH MORE WRINKLED (to the point we’ll probably have to iron), it takes nearly an entire day to wash/dry one load. For a small family, MAYBE. The only pro I can say is that it saves space but adds life frustration.

First use I hated it. I washed towels it took forever to dry A lot of that was my fault as I kept opening it to see how it was drying. Now that I gave it a chance to work without opening the door to check dryness I love it! I works great. Love all the settings. It has a 15 min quick wash setting that cleans awesome. Love to do a quick wash. It also lets you throw in clothes on dry only to get the wrinkels out.Big capacity, I washed 5 beach towels in one load. My husband mentioned the clothes even smell better. Love that its wifi capable. Love you put detergent and softer in until it tells you to add more. Great purchase! The look of the combo is beautiful & modern looking. I purchased the storage pedestal it's awesome. No need for a hamper now. I live in a tiny home this combo unit is perfect. I have room for more storage.
