[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a few weeks, got it for my apartment. It's great, convenient, and works pretty well. I'm disappointed that you can't change the detergent ratio, you can change the default, but not the scale. Also, the dryer function doesn't have heat settings, so you can not dry with low heat, it gets hot, or you don't dry. The machine can shake/vibrate with uneven loads, but that might be a leveling/install issue.

If you have Dogs, Kids, or a lot of laundry, then don't buy this item. The advertised times of loads is not correct. We joke but it's true, "For Every Towel, add an Hour". You can't throw a load in and leave. At times we had a couple of towels in, and they dried but were stuck to the sides, all hard. One evening I started a load at 10:00pm. My son woke me up at 4:30am asking me what that sound was. The until was still on drying, and making a bad noise. The lower lint waste water collector is a pain in the butt. If it gets clogged, like if you have pets, then you have to pull out this little tube and drain all of the water out. Takes about 20 minutes, and don't remove the filter unless all the water is out. Such a mess. As a test to show how long a typical load takes, I spent a Saturday with one load that consisted of 1 pair of jeans, 6 shirts, and several socks. I would say a medium size load. Nothing out of the norm. It took 12 HOURS. (See in the photo below). This product is horrible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the one piece configuration giving me more room in my laundry for hanging space. Also the ap is nice to see how much time is left on the load and get notifications. My circuit breaker kept tripping when the dryer came on but I don't know if that was the different type dryer or just the breaker wearing out. It is also nice to not need to vent it outside and need to clean out the vent hose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have always had good luck with LG appliances so purchase decision was easy when combined with features and other comparisons to other major manufacturers. Washer dryer combo has been wonderful to use for start to finish laundry. Effective cleaning. The ventless system along with not requiring 220v are added bonuses. Extremely energy efficient as compared to standard electric dryer!!

So for the most part it works fine, takes a while, can live with that. The drain catch for hair is the fatal flaw. Awful location, engineering, and clogs every couple loads. That bottom left panel is the drain system, have to use a shallow pan, multiple trips, and when you think it's empty it still spills all over the area. RIP my wood walls, seeing a lot of water. This could ruin someone's house. Pain in the sphincter since the second week.

The LG washer/dryer combo is indeed a game changer! You don’t realize how convenient it is to just put a wash and when it’s done..it’s done. Washed and dried all in one. It is so easy to use with the ezDispense because it automatically puts in the soap and softener. With the AI setting it automatically detects what kind of clothes and the soil level and puts the proper cycle it needs. It pretty much does everything but fold your clothes when it’s finished lol. In my short experience with it my towels or bedding were all done in under two hours. Mixed clothes were usually between 2 hrs 30 min or 2hrs 45 min. Best thing ever is when connected to ThinQ it notifies you when the wash is done and gives you so many different cycle options you can choose from. It also shows you info so you can see how energy efficient this combo is with the heat pump. Looked it up and this uses about 1/4 of the energy you would consume using a regular washer with an electric dryer…amazing! I have not even mentioned how beautiful and sleek this machine is with the awesome display in the knob. With it being ventless it also free’s up so much more room in the wash room. I have been very impressed and pleased with the overall performance of the washer/dryer combo.

I love this feature because I do t have to get the clothes out right away, as it keeps tumbling for up to 8 hours! It’s such a plus!

I pursued a two in one combo as my laundry room has an awkward layout and a single unit addressed some space concerns. The wash cycles work well. No complaints. But the unit is maintenance heavy compared to a traditional top load washer and separate dryer. The dry time is also a bit inconvenient. As a single person, I make it work and the advantage of the space savings still out weight the cons of the unit. But I would be leery to recommend this for a family. It has more cycle presets than I need, all of whihch seem basically the same, and then missing some other features I would like, such as controlling the dry temp or allowing for no heat drying. The capacity is great, fits my cotton king duvet, but... takes multiple dry cycles to actually get it dry. 4-6 hours in some cases and usually I have to let it air dry for the last bit. If you purchase this or other two in ones, make sure you perform the recommended maintenance, keep your loads smaller to not be inconvenienced by dry time, and if you have a multi person house hold, you may want to wait a few years when the technology inevitably gets a little better.

Over all happy with my purchase. It dose take longer to dry but it also does it all for you so I don’t care. I know towels take a while so I do them over night. We had vent clog issues with our old one so this is nice it’s ventless. You have to make sure to clean it every use. If it stops drying fill dispenser tray, clean your tub up 3x with a cleaning tablet. Rinse the vent under water and suck out any lint. This should keep the system running efficiently
