I had the prior model of this combo for 10 years and loved it and never had a service call! I purchased this as a replacement and the design has several improvements over the old model and has a larger capacity. I do not dry everything but the things I do dry do not shrink. Had a little learning curve for the settings from my old machine with less intelligence, but once you experiment you see the organization logic and the tiered selection options. Read the book! Didnt think I would like the auto detergent, softener because I prefer a lower amount dispensed, but was delighted you can set it for reg, more or less. Instead of fabric softener I have Lysol laundry disinfectant in my auto softener area, and there is another space to manually add bleach or bleach alternative. The timer often estimates more time than actually needed for the drying part of the operation, so I count that as the maximum time. I check it earlier if i want to make sure it doesnt run longer than necessary, but it often stops automatically earlier than the estimate when the sensor tells it to. So, mainly i put the stuff in, turn it on, it comes up to my usual setting. I review options and i press start then come back for the finished product. Every once in a while I load more detergent. I am not one to use the dryer to fluff up or refresh laundry. The method of drying is not the same as a standard hot air dryer so would not be as useful for fluffing. It warms the clothes but does not feel like it burns them with hot air so my dog still loves to burrow into the warm laundry. Just hope its internal brain lasts 10 years or more. Get the matching pedestal if you dont like to bend over too far. It raises it to a comfortable height for front loading.

My wife and I love our all in one washer dryer unit from LG. It has preformed wonderfully. The ability to start laundry and it be done when we return greatly outweighs the slightly increased time to finish the load. We have 5 people in our household and the machine keeps up without any issues.

The idea of this product is great, but the performance is mediocre at best. I have a family of 5 and was so excited because I thought this machine would be a life saver.. You have to do very small loads or it does not get dry. Even on a “heavy soil” cycle it’s not great at actually getting your laundry clean. There is always some kind of problem with it. (Mine is leaking right now) If you have any animals DO NOT buy this. A minimal amount of dog hair will stop it up. I have to run tub clean once a week and my dogs are rarely even in the house. Towels; you better set aside about 5-6 hours for a small to medium size load. Over all EXTREMELY disappointed in this product for the price….

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do really like this machine, but it's definitely not gonna wash and dry your normal small-ish load of laundry in two hours. They should hurry up and revise that to around 2½-3 hours for a normal load of clothes. It was also kind of stinky rubber smelling for the first dozen or so loads. I read reviews and knew it was going to be slow, and smell weird at first going into it though...and I don't have a dryer plug or vent, so I was willing to accept it...But I would go with the stacked machine, or separate washer and heat pump dryer if I had a dryer plug. It does wash excellently, it's usually very quiet (it has its loud moments during spin sometimes, and the compressor sometimes gets loud during the dry cycle), but clothes come out perfectly dry, and softer than a normal dryer! It's not completely perfect though. You do have to be diligent cleaning the lint filter, and I sometimes just vacuum the door gasket of lint before I start removing clothes. The door gasket is linty after towels and bleached clothes, especially, but I knew that getting into it. The bleach dispenser also does not get enough water to fully empty. I would prefer that I could specify two different types of detergents in the two tanks, or just not have that feature to start with as it's another thing to break. The light also can't be programmed to stay on or started from the app. Those are nit picks though that can be fixed with software updates.

Love this washer/dryer combo, it's a total game-changer. First off, no more switching clothes between machines—it does everything in one go, which is a lifesaver. It’s also super quiet and doesn’t need a vent. Plus, I can fill it before I go to work, and then start a load from my phone so that it is finished just as I arrive home. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the product for a couple of weeks now, and I must say, overall, this is a great product! The installation guys were super friendly! They made sure that everything was installed correctly and to my satisfaction. The wash is very effective. I love that it has so many different wash settings available for all the different types of wash, articles of clothing, fabric, etc. It is also very convenient to set each setting through the app that I downloaded. This machine is also very very big. A lot bigger than other washers that I've ever used. The only small negative that I can say is that the drying process does take longer than initially expected. However, this being a washer & dryer combo, the tradeoff of having a slightly longer dryer cycle is well worth the convenience. I do not mind having a longer dryer cycle if all I have to do is load the machine and walk away. I rather have the longer cycles rather than having to return and reload it into a separate machine. I did notice that if I put in lighter loads (no towels or beddings) it dries a lot quicker, but again, I personally don't want to do multiple loads and rather do one large long cycle. As someone who is all about convenience, this machine is perfect for me!

Terrible. Takes all day to do 1 load of laundry. LED/LCD screen goes out nearly every cycle. Drain hose way too short and dumps dirty water all over the floor, but the filter requires cleaning at least 2 to 3 times per month. I've had this unit since April 2024. The dryer filter is flimsy and feels like it will fall apart any second. These units are super expensive and we paid way more than the sale price showing now. I am so very disappointed with something that I thought was going to be a dream and put so much of our hard earned money into. We shouldn't have to get something that is literally a few months old repaired. It should have been built better to begin with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect washer dryer combo for my family of 3. I love that I can put the laundry in press and button and everything is done in a few hours. The detergent reservoir is great too, not having to out in detergent every time is great. Along with the app it's a no brainer. The convenience of the app telling you when it's done is also perfect! Not having to go up and down the stairs to check! The ventless dryer takes longer then traditional dryers but leaves my laundry room far less humid which is great! This would be perfect for apartment living or for small families.

After 2 weeks of use this is awesome!!!  It’s nice not to have to transfer cloths from one appliance to another,  and be able to go some where for the day and have everything completed by the time we get home!!!  Ventless is awesome plus the fact it’s operating on 110 instead of 220!!  Love it, now if it only folded the cloths lol

We love this washer/dryer combo! It's so nice to have a combined system that takes up so much less space and our clothes dries is as fast as 2 hours sometimes, depending on the setting. I also love to sleek design of it, it looks so nice and modern in our laundry closet.
