I've had this product for just over a year now and it has been excellent for our family. It was a bit of a positive lifestyle change because now we run laundry once every day or two (family of 4) rather than devoting an entire weekend day to marathon laundry. One of my favorite parts is that I no longer worry about wet clothes sitting forgotten in a washer. Normal full loads are typically 2-3 hours to wash and dry. Towels can get closer to 5-6 hours so we definitely save those for last load of the night if there are multiple loads. Much less lint than our old dryer and clothing color and texture seems to last longer. Wrinkles do happen more frequently than with the old dryer; I believe this is because the heat pump drying is a softer heat so clothes aren't basically ironed like in a high heat dryer. We don't have issues with it if we either remove laundry right after the load is done, or we remember to turn on Laundry Care, which tosses the laundry around every couple minutes after the cycle so it doesn't stay in one place to develop wrinkles. There are reviews about drying and lint trapping no longer working. I had this problem too. Turns out I wasn't cleaning the lint filter good enough. You need to run the lint filter under tap water and rub the screen between your fingers to actually clean it out. I had tried everything else and this seemed insignificant, but it worked! I do it once a month now and no issues since. I recommend this product after one year of use.

Using several of the functions already has been with ease. My laundry smells fresher and appears cleaner than it was previously. The machine is quiet, efficient and easy to operate. I like the features that remind you to clean the tub, vent, etc. When using the wash & dry setting, this can be a longer cycle at times, but it's a great function for setting the cycle and not having to switch the loads out. For busy schedules, this setting is wonderful. I tend to use it often when our family is on the go or lack time to be switching loads to and from a dryer. Love the machine!

I kept my old dryer so I can do 2 loads at less time. It cleans well and very quiet with much less vibration than my old washer. Lastly, i had odor issue with my old front load washer. With this unit running both wash and dry, no moisture is left inside which prevents odor, bad smell.

All we have to do is load the unit, set it to wash and dry and come back later when its done. No more unloading washer and reloading into dryer. We love the self dispense soap and softener feature. So many cycle options. We struggled at first with unit as we were unfamiliar with this type of unit but have adjusted our way of laundry to match the unit. We have found it to wash well and dry fully when used correctly. If your considering this unit understand you may need to adjust your way of doing laundry. Now L.G. comes out with an ai enabled combo washer and dryer. I wasn’t able to get into the manual before my wife had it connect to the thin q app on her phone and changing the settings and starting a wash. I have been around a lot of innovation projects at some large companies and LG has really pushed the envelope on this unit. It senses your loads, how dirty the clothes are and takes care of the rest with the AI Wash and Dry setting. If you don’t trust the AI to take over your washing duties, select from 15 other wash cycles. My wife has to control it. I chose to let the AI do its thing. Yes, I would agree that larger and heavier loads do take longer to dry over my gas dryer. But since we load it up before we leave for work, it has 8 hours to wash and dry. With the Thin Q app, you can extend the drying time or start another cycle. I guess it just takes you to think differently on how to use the washer/dryer with the heat pump. Auto detergent/softener dispenser and the top lint collector, they have simplified the laundry process for me and my family. Not to forget the little brother that I also picked up. The LG SideKick Pedestal Washer. The wife and girls like it for washing smaller loads and their undergarments that need a little more TLC or just need to be air dried. As my wife said, #lifeisgood…

I got my new LG Washer/Dryer combo a few weeks ago. The only thing I regret was putting it off for so long. I am beyond thrilled with my purchase! Its a beautiful machine that fits nicely in my new closet. All the features are streamline and so easy to use. My favorite feature is the detergent dispensers that can be pre-loaded to do about 60-75 loads worth along. My laundry always comes out perfectly clean and fresh every time. The convenience of this washer is a game changer for me and my very busy lifestyle.

I bought this march 22, 2024, and regret that purchase. Have had service out already. The lint is a huge problem, eventhough the lint trap is cleaned after each use. Another lint trap that I was unaware existed until repairman showed me requires the use of pliers to remove. Not pleased at all.
