Easy controls with a intuitive app to pair with it. If it wasnt for the fact 2 units had to be returned because of a LE2 Compressor error code it'd be 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start off we have A LOT of laundry at our house with 3 kids 6 and under. At this point we’ve ran 8 or 9 cycles. PROS: cleans much better than our old GE brand appliances, looks very sleek, interface is amazing, extremely quiet, our autistic son loves the tub light so he can watch it spinning, and we don’t have to stress about leaving laundry in the washing machine, and it’s very energy efficient and we expect to save money on our energy bill over time CONS: the cycle times do take longer than advertised even running small loads (expect 2.5-3 hours), and large loads have taken 3+ hours So overall there’s not a ton to complain about since doing laundry in separate appliances would take about the same time, and it seems like it’ll hold up with 3+ kids and all their laundry, but I feel like I need to deduct one star since under 2 hours (as advertised) seems unrealistic.

As a family of six with endless loads of kids’ clothes, laundry used to be exhausting. I often stayed up late washing and drying, barely getting any sleep. Now, I simply load the machine before bed, and by morning, everything is washed and dried. It’s been a huge relief! The 5.0 cu. ft. capacity is larger than I expected, allowing me to handle big loads at once, which has significantly reduced the number of cycles I need. We have had this washer/dryer for 3 months and quite like it. It washes and dries very well, while looking sleek and modern. We replaced a gas dryer that stopped working, and a top load washer. Our washing/utility room is small, so we really appreciate having only one unit versus two. It is also great to no longer have worries about lint buildup and possible fires in our dryer vent line, which runs from one side of our home to the other. This unit is ventless. Is this unit like a "normal" washer and dryer? No. So it is important to watch reviews and how-to's and maintenance tips on YouTube. Once you understand how this appliance operates, you will appreciate it greatly. The Energy Label showed an astoundingly low annual energy use for this appliance! My wife and I are retired so she runs the machine during the day, but its best use IMO (the unimportant one) would be to program it to run during the night when energy costs are low, and when the longer than conventional dryer time cycle will not impact you. If you plan your laundry cycles well you can save energy costs while doing lots of laundry for a larger family. Since the time to do a wash then dry cycle, without having to move the clothes between two appliances, is longer than with conventional washers and dryers, this appliance is not the one to do all your laundry on Saturday morning. Rather you should do a load per overnight say Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, or something similar. And since the dryer, being a heat pump unit with high efficiency, will take longer to dry your load, make sure you learn how to minimize the water in your damp clothes by maximizing the spin cycle(s). If you use this appliance to its best abilities, you should be very pleased with it.

Love this washer/dryer combo, it's a total game-changer. First off, no more switching clothes between machines—it does everything in one go, which is a lifesaver. It’s also super quiet and doesn’t need a vent. Plus, I can fill it before I go to work, and then start a load from my phone so that it is finished just as I arrive home. Highly recommend!

I needed a new washer & dryer as other Korean brand washer & dryer stopped working within 3 years. I was a bit hesitant on getting an all-in-one washer as I never had one, but I thought I gave it a try to save up some room in my laundry room due to excessive baby stuff stocking up at home. First of all, the design is so sleek. My friends complimented so many times on the color and design of the machine. Secondly, the quality is top notch. I can't believe this one, a single machine can do washing AND drying with a minimal sound (i have a toddler at home) Also, the fact that you can control everything with ThinQ App, it was definitely a life changer for someone who needs to multitask around home. I can do many variations of washing & drying through the app and also track the progress of washing & drying at the same time Lastly, the real game changer is the ventless heat pump. This has definitely simplified that installation, but I also don't need to worry about dirty lint vent.  If needed, I am considering purchasing the LG SideKick Pedestal Washer which is a mini washing machine that goes on the bottom of this all-in-one washer. Super convenient!! Oh and I cannot forget about the delivery folks. They were very prompt with time, extremely careful with the delivery, and helped me learn every bit about the machine.

I’m a busy mother of 3 whose kids play sports so I wanted something that could handle doing heavy duty loads as well as offered exceptional washing performance. I love being able to throw a load in the wash just before heading out for the day and by the time I come back the laundry is washed and dry! I do like that this combo offers different levels of customization such as being able to do a quick wash so I’m not always having to do longer washing/drying cycles.

This is the Best Washer /Dryer I've ever purchased. With over 40 years experience with washers and dryes. It's compact does not take up a lot of space. I like very much the different sections to choose from like permanent press , delicates , heavy . And wash only , dry only or wash and dry combo, to name a few. Mostly I like the convenience of the combo, I can wash a load and dry without having to remove the items from one machine to another. Also the drying timer usually does not take as long as the timer says. Lasty it's a very , very nice Product am still experienceming with its many features. LG 5.0 all in one washer dryer !!!
