You won’t be sorry!!!! It’s pretty amazing!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE THIS ALL IN ONE!!! Looking to buy my daughter one. It’s so convenient and way better than the other brands on the market. I’ve had it for a few months now and seriously love this thing. The app is also super convenient in seeing how long is left, changing the fabric softener or detergent level or even turning the unit on from the app.
Great unit/great features / high tech
Overall… I like the combination washer/dryer… Likes: easy to use, great looking unit. Cleaned well .. worked very well with the ThinQ app. Kept me informed at all times and told me when it was done. Concerns: kept the clothing a little damp but have happened with my prior dryer as well. Tangled up clothes a little but after separating .. dried for a short time and it was fine. No vent needed was a great feature
Game changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This invention is the BEST! It will take all the stress away from forgetting to change over your clothes from the washer to the dryer. This combo as well as stores your liquid detergent and fabric softener in it's own storage. You don't have to pour it in for each load. This seriously has changed out lives. We have a app that notifies us when the washing load is complete and drying is starting. This is a nice feature for when you do not want a particular piece of clothing dried. The app will also let you know when drying is complete. Our family of 5 will get our laundry done SO much quicker through the week. For example- we throw a load into the combo before going to bed, set a timer for it to start and be completely finished upon us waking up. Just like that, a load is complete!! Washed and dried. I also like the "steam" drying my clothes, it seems to be not so harsh on garments of all kinds. This truly has been a game changer when having to complete the chore of laundry.
Hello, Marlette! We appreciate you sharing your experience with your LG Washer and dryer combo! It’s great hearing how much this all‑in‑one setup has streamlined laundry for your family. The built‑in detergent and softener storage, automatic wash‑to‑dry transition, and helpful app notifications really shine in your routine. The overnight wash‑and‑dry example says it all — that’s efficiency at its finest. And the gentle steam drying is a fantastic touch for keeping clothes looking their best! Helps Maximize Space!
I love the Washer Combo!! We just remodeled our home, and the laundry room is super tiny. The Washer/Dryer Combo saves me so much space, and because it's ventless, I get to cover up the old vent and gain more wall space as well. Less set-up, more space to design my room!
Hey Rose. Thanks for your feedback on your LG All-in-one WashCombo! It’s wonderful to hear how much you love it. It looks perfect in your newly remodeled laundry room, especially with its space-saving design. The ventless feature is a fantastic bonus, allowing you to maximize your wall space and create a more aesthetically pleasing environment. We can’t wait to see how you finish designing your laundry room! For more feedback or questions, private message us on social media @LGUSSupport. Seeing how the right appliances can enhance functionality and style in a small area is great! ^David
Modern, Slick and Efficient
We have had this washer/dryer for 3 months and quite like it. It washes and dries very well, while looking sleek and modern. We replaced a gas dryer that stopped working, and a top load washer. Our washing/utility room is small, so we really appreciate having only one unit versus two. It is also great to no longer have worries about lint buildup and possible fires in our dryer vent line, which runs from one side of our home to the other. This unit is ventless. Is this unit like a "normal" washer and dryer? No. So it is important to watch reviews and how-to's and maintenance tips on YouTube. Once you understand how this appliance operates, you will appreciate it greatly. The Energy Label showed an astoundingly low annual energy use for this appliance! My wife and I are retired so she runs the machine during the day, but its best use IMO (the unimportant one) would be to program it to run during the night when energy costs are low, and when the longer than conventional dryer time cycle will not impact you. If you plan your laundry cycles well you can save energy costs while doing lots of laundry for a larger family. Since the time to do a wash then dry cycle, without having to move the clothes between two appliances, is longer than with conventional washers and dryers, this appliance is not the one to do all your laundry on Saturday morning. Rather you should do a load per overnight say Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, or something similar. And since the dryer, being a heat pump unit with high efficiency, will take longer to dry your load, make sure you learn how to minimize the water in your damp clothes by maximizing the spin cycle(s). If you use this appliance to its best abilities, you should be very pleased with it.

DO NOT BUY!!!
If you have Dogs, Kids, or a lot of laundry, then don't buy this item. The advertised times of loads is not correct. We joke but it's true, "For Every Towel, add an Hour". You can't throw a load in and leave. At times we had a couple of towels in, and they dried but were stuck to the sides, all hard. One evening I started a load at 10:00pm. My son woke me up at 4:30am asking me what that sound was. The until was still on drying, and making a bad noise. The lower lint waste water collector is a pain in the butt. If it gets clogged, like if you have pets, then you have to pull out this little tube and drain all of the water out. Takes about 20 minutes, and don't remove the filter unless all the water is out. Such a mess. As a test to show how long a typical load takes, I spent a Saturday with one load that consisted of 1 pair of jeans, 6 shirts, and several socks. I would say a medium size load. Nothing out of the norm. It took 12 HOURS. (See in the photo below). This product is horrible.
Hey there! We understand your concern about the long drying times and the issues you're experiencing with the lower lint water collector. For the drying, a few things to check are the lint filter (clean it after every load!), avoid overloading the machine, and make sure there are no blockages in the venting if your model has one. Also, if your combo has a condenser, ensure that's clean, and the water container should be emptied regularly. The all-in-one model is so handy
An all-in-one laundry unit is just about as handy as it sounds. It does take quite a long time for a wash & dry cycle to run (around 2.5-3 hours depending on the load size and type) but that's worth it to me for not needing to remember to switch the load after washing and probably forgetting and having to rerun it! Our ideal laundry layout also never really meshed with where the dryer vent and special outlet were, so being able to plug this right into a regular outlet and not have the ugly silver vent line running across the room has been really nice, plus the extra space saved where the stacked unit used to be!
LG Support is Atrocious
We have given this new technology and expensive washer dryer over six months trial. Not only does it not dry, but it also doesn’t drain. We have contacted LG, and they have provided little to know, insightful technical assistance to resolve our problem. As you can expect, are considerations for LG products in the future is low.
Hi there. We want you to know we're here for you and your LG washer dryer combo, so let's review troubleshooting together to make your laundry dreams come true! To start, we recommend checking the drain filter as this may impact both draining and drying for your unit. We have an article for those steps here: https://tinyurl.com/24oja9uk and you can reach us on social media @LGUSSupport for additional assistance. *Chey
Innovative and life changing for a family of 5!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been beyond excited to try this out! We are a family of 5 with three very active kids in ALL of the sports. At first, I was most excited about those late nights when I realized a uniform wasn't washed and I could toss it in before bed and wake up to it being dry, but we quickly realized this is changing our laundry game for good! Our traditional set is in the basement, which requires us to walk up and down two flights of stairs. Our laundry piled up and I always felt like I was unable to keep up. With the help of the 110v plug and no requirement for ventilation, we were able to easily install this unit on our top floor in our linen closet making it super convenient! We had this installed around 2pm and within that day already finished 3 loads of laundry with a 4th that ran overnight. I love the detergent reservoir and how easy the functionality is! My kids are now doing their own laundry and they love how easy it is to use. With the ThinQ app, you can set your laundry settings so the kids press the on button, turn it to the right cycle and within a few hours their clothes are washed, dried, and ready to be put away! We were actually just on a trip and we received a notification on our app that wet laundry was still in the basket, so we were able to message the kids and let them know they selected the wrong setting and now needed to dry the clothes. The convenience is unmatched! We purchased the storage pedestal and I highly recommend that as it brings the unit to a perfect height. The machine is very quiet as well! I've read a lot of the negative reviews here and my biggest feedback is that this requires you to rethink how you do laundry. I used to pack my washer to the brim. You cannot do that with this machine or your clothes will be more wrinkled and won't dry well. With the accessibility of the machine, we can keep up on laundry and therefore, don’t need to worry about having packed loads, so it works out well for us. I have noticed that certain items do come out with wrinkles even in a small load. We haven’t had the chance to try out the steam feature, so I’ll be trying that out when I know those items are being added to the mix. Additionally, I think we are used to our clothes being over-dried. When the load says it's done, I’ve had a hard time determining if they are very slightly damp or not. I have folded them/hung them and had no problems with the result! I think we are just groomed to have our driers get our clothes over-dry. I actually believe my clothes will last longer with this machine since they aren’t over-dry. My one piece of feedback is that it does generate a lot of lint that isn’t all caught in the trap at the top. I think all washers/dryers should be maintained, but I don’t think most of us are likely to do so. We abuse them and let them go and replace them when they stop working. To get the best out of this machine, again, I think it requires us to rethink how we are treating our appliances. Within a handful of washes, I realized that I needed to wipe down the gasket on the front of the machine as it was coated in lint. There were little crevices throughout that had lint stuck in them. I needed to deconstruct the lint trap and clean it at a deeper level after about 10 loads (which is the recommendation in the manual). On my standard dryer, I am unable to access the deeper areas to clean it well, so I do appreciate that you can take it apart and easily access the different layers within the lint trap area. Overall, this machine is a home run! No more “moooooom I need cloooooothes” gripes in this house!
Great ventless technology!
So glad I bought this combo machine! I was initially nervous because of older ventless technology I've had before, but this is totally different. LG hit a home run with this product and would definitely recommend to anyone that needs something space-saving or is limited by exhaust options. I used this in a backyard ADU because I was extremely limited on space, but this fit perfectly within the footprint of the kitchen.
Hey there. That’s awesome to hear! LG’s ventless technology has definitely come a long way, and it’s great that it’s working so well for your space. Sounds like the perfect fit for your ADU—efficient, compact, and hassle-free. Enjoy the convenience, and thanks for sharing your experience! 😊 ^ Diego
