Super convenient for my small family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect washer dryer combo for my family of 3. I love that I can put the laundry in press and button and everything is done in a few hours. The detergent reservoir is great too, not having to out in detergent every time is great. Along with the app it's a no brainer. The convenience of the app telling you when it's done is also perfect! Not having to go up and down the stairs to check! The ventless dryer takes longer then traditional dryers but leaves my laundry room far less humid which is great! This would be perfect for apartment living or for small families.

Best combo out there

Okay, based on the product details from the LG website, here's an online review: --- I recently upgraded to the LG WashCombo all-in-one, and I'm already obsessed! The biggest selling point for me was the ventless design and standard 120V plug—I was able to set it up in a spot that would've been impossible with a traditional washer/dryer. The 5.0 cu. ft. capacity is seriously impressive. I can easily wash my king-size comforter, which is a huge win. What really saves time is that it washes and dries in as little as two hours without me having to move anything! I also love the little details, like the automatic detergent dispenser. It's super convenient and I never have to worry about using too much or too little detergent. The LCD display is easy to navigate, and the lint filter is a breeze to clean. Energy efficiency was also a big factor for me, and this machine delivers. Overall, the LG WashCombo is a game-changer, and I highly recommend it if you're looking to save space and time! Great Value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying this is a great unit for what it is. Having a busy family this is a life saver! Several times Thin q has saved me big time by being able to start the dry option from my phone while In bed. The only down side to the dry option on large loads do take hours to dry, but if your ok whit that this is a great option. The thin q app allows you to add different sounds to the end of cycle as well as start up display for thr seasons. Over all I'm giving 4 start only because of thr long dry time, we would recommend this product and have!

Space saving, quiet and easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this machine a few days and I love it so far. Sheets from 2 queen sized beds took 2 and a half hours to wash and dry and a full load of pants/jeans took a little over 2 hours. It is easy to use. I have mostly used the AI setting, but have tried out the dry only mode. Yes, the rubber seal on the door does collect lint, I don't mind and I clean the seal and the lint filter with each load. The machine is pretty quiet compared to my other LG unit. No more switching loads around and I've gained more space in my laundry room. I haven't had any issues with clothes that don't smell clean after washing or 9 hour dry times.

Washer, maybe. Dryer, no!

I've been hoodwinked. All these ecstatic (incentivized?) reviews here and elsewhere like YouTube convinced me to pay a premium for this product. After installation, I was excited to give AI Wash & Dry a try. I gave it a whirl and was met with a damp bundle of clothes. Not sure how this got past QA, if they even bothered with it. I guess the "Washer/Dryer" combo was too good to be true (although great for marketing). Some features, like WiFi to track progress on your phone, is nice, but it seems LG was so enamored with all these peripheral features that they forgot to deliver a quality washer and (most especially) dryer. I suppose all I can do at this point is try to figure out how I'm going to return it, and warn others against buying it.

Love

Over all happy with my purchase. It dose take longer to dry but it also does it all for you so I don’t care. I know towels take a while so I do them over night. We had vent clog issues with our old one so this is nice it’s ventless. You have to make sure to clean it every use. If it stops drying fill dispenser tray, clean your tub up 3x with a cleaning tablet. Rinse the vent under water and suck out any lint. This should keep the system running efficiently

No stress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this machine. Being a single mom, it’s nice to not even think about my laundry until it’s ready to be folded. The app is great too so I can see when it’s done even when I’m out running errands. The machine is quiet and efficient.

Great Washer/Dryer Combo - Space Saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer/dryer combo is pretty impressive. The full size capacity of 5.0 cubit feet is enough to do full loads of laundry. The washer/dryer has all of the bells and whistles you'd expect from LG - with it's digital display wheel and connectivity functions it really allows you to get the most out of your machine. New features that I had not seen before are the lint trap, which has a mechanism to remove the lint from the trap by sliding the housing was really cool. I also really liked the detergent reservoirs that allows you to preload detergent and fabric softeners, and then will automatically dispense the desired amount per load. This unit is perfect for our cottage where space is very limited (approximately 600 sq ft). We did not have the space to vent the dryer so the fact that you are able to use this ventless is a real plus. I also love that it plugs directly into a standard outlet and that you do not need to run 220V to it. It was literally just plug and play. I ran a small load of about 7 t-shirts, 5 pairs of shorts, and a cotton robe. The whole wash/dry process took about 3 hours doing a full wash (rather than a "quick wash"). The unit was quiet and really easy to use. I will say that after the three hour cycle, the clothes were the slightest bit damp still (I am guessing due to the robe). Venting this unit would definitely improve the drying but this is the tradeoff to it being a space saver. The clothes were not damp enough to need a second dry cycle, however an additional cycle would have definitely taken care of it. Overall very impressive for a ventless dryer. All in all this is a great appliance for where space is limited. As a ventless dryer, it will not be as efficient as a standard vented dryer, but that is the trade-off. If you are looking for an easy washer/dryer solution for limited space, this is the one, hands down.

Exceeded expectations

Bought Oct 2024. replaced LG traditional front load laundry set, 14 years old. they were working great, but the age was concerning me. So have read the negative reviews and I wonder if some really own one of these units. For me its 1 person in the home, retired. So nice not to have to swap load to dryer, or even forget to swap. I do 2 loads a week. Noise - about the same as traditional set. Spin however is waaayyy smoother. Drying makes a different sound, bit louder than just the tumble of a traditional dryer. Its on the main floor of the house, and don't find the overall noise objectionable. Wash - Not even slightly ... very much noticeably better cleaning than my traditional LG front load team (entry-tier models) Drying - Clothes come out dry. Towels, hoodies, jeans. Always a mixed load, and always dry. I believe the supplementary heating element has a factor in that. By folks saying' they dont get dry clothes', I dunno what they are doing different. Cycle - have only tried, and likely only ever use AI wash & dry cycle. It should be the default, but I have to pick it. Time - queen sheet set, and a couple towels, 2 hours. Mixed load of darks, towels, jeans, hoodies, shirts, underwear & socks. 3 hours. Add-ons - got the matching base unit, primarily to raise the door for easier access. Cost savings - likely ... however the only one I can attest to is the vent free dryer tech. No constantly blowing a large volume of air out of the home for an hour approx. causing infiltration throughout the home as makeup air. Safety - no vent pipe and outside vent cover constantly building up lint (though over time this may be an internal machine issue TBD)

Piece of garbage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DO NOT buy this unit. We have had it for less than 3 months and it has been nothing but problems. Every few loads it gets some form of error message. I think it just randomly cycles through 3 different errors. All we have to do is hit start again and they disappear. When originally starting a normal to small size load it will say three and a half hours at most of run time but will easily run for 5-6 hours and the clothes will come out extremely wrinkly. Lately it has been running for 10-12 plus hours and the clothes are still wet. For the past couple of weeks it has also been emitting a musty odor. We have three kids and had plans of putting several of these in our house to help contend with the large amount of dirt they produce but those plans have been not only ripped up but burned as well. This machine only gets worse with age. And at only three months old I can only imagine the problems we will face after a year. If I could give it negative stars I would. Please don’t make the same mistake as me and stick with a traditional washer and dryer.

Hey there Matt. We appreciate the feedback and thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. It is highly abnormal for our customers to have difficulties with their appliances so soon after purchasing, however, no need to worry as we are always here to assist. Error codes are designed to appear on the appliances to let us know when they detect something wrong with the unit's performance and they often give you hints on what the issue is. Error codes can cause issues with properly drying among other things. Although pressing the start button may make the error code go away momentarily, it does not mean that the issue is resolved. We invite you to please reach out to us via private message at @LGUSSupport, we have a dedicated team on stand-by whose only goal is to ensure your appliance makes your life good. ~Ivy
