Inconsistent Cleaning/Drying I purchased as a single owner for convenience and its been NOTHING but a PROBLEM, one after the other. . I DO NOT RECOMMEND Leaking, clogging and the dry cycle is never finished by 1 cycle. Fabrics are left unclean and wet. The HEAT ON THE MACHINE has melted plastics. Vibration isnt so much a problem.

It's hard to believe what a change this All-in-one has made in our lives. We hated lugging laundry up and down the basement stairs but didn't have the space for two units in our downsized home. As my years of horseback riding had caught up with me resulting in three hip replacements, the laundry fell to my husband. We needed a solution and this machine fits the bill. We put it into a closet that was wasted space. Looks great and is handy. Everything from delicates to bedding come out perfectly. So we initially just bought it for size and convenience not expecting the amazing job it does on our laundry. We are so happy and wish we had purchased it much sooner. Can't recommend it enough!

Not worth the price and drying takes forever. We were really excited about the convenience of having an all-in-one washer and dryer, but unfortunately, this machine has been a major disappointment. the washer capacity sounds great when they advertise it, but the dryer capacity is much smaller. LG recommends putting only five towels in the machine at a time for drying. the biggest issue is the drying time. loads can take over 4 hours to dry, which is simply not practical for everyday laundry. we eventually ended up setting up our old dryer again and now primarily use this machine for washing. the washing function works fine, but the whole point of buying a all-in-one washer/dryer is the convenience of not needing a separate dryer. The Limited drying capacity and extremely long dry times completely defeat that purpose. For the price, I expected much better. If you're buying this for an all-in-one convenience, I would seriously think twice. In our experience, it was not worth the money. I do not recommend this product.

Every single load takes at least 3 hours. Sometimes 5! Two problems. One, dry time. We had a repair guy here while it was still under warranty because it was leaking. He fixed the leak and we asked about the crazy long dry times. He said you have to be careful but to overload it. I'm not! I'm washing smaller loads than my old 25 year old machine and they take twice as long. Therefore, I end up doing laundry every day. Sometimes it says it's done and I find it's still wet. Other times I get a message that the dry time has been extended by 2 hours, but when I check it's actually dry. Two, LINT LINT and more LINT. In addition to the 3 filters you have to constantly clean, I have to use a brush AFTER EVERY LOAD around the door seal to clean out more lint and hair that never even reaches the filters. I gave it 2 stars because clothes are clean and it's quiet.

When I decided to replace my old washer and gas dryer I wanted to get away from fossil fuel. However, a conventional electric dryer would require an 240V outlet. The WashCombo fits the bill perfectly. I can use my existing 120V outlet. Because it's a single unit, installation is easier as I don't have to stack the units. And because it's ventless, I can close off the vent and avoid leaking conditioned air to the outside. The main concern with the WashCombo has been with the filters and the dryer performance. Having done about 20 loads so far, I can report that the dryer performance has been outstanding. Heavy loads including towels, bed sheets and heavy comforters have come out bone-dry. In fact the laundry can feel too warm to the touch. For normal mixed loads I actually use the only Delicates dry mode. In this mode, only thick items like jeans and towels come out with a slightly damp feel that goes away if you shake them a bit, everything else being perfectly dry. Dry time is a bit longer than I was used to, about 2-2.5 hours. But since I can just start the machine and leave until everything is done, it's not a problem for me. Of course, having read prior reviews, I assiduously wash and dry both the lint and condenser filters after each load. There appears to be fewer lint accumulation than with my old dryer. The condenser appears to be spotless each time. I don't doubt that with regular cleaning, it will continue to perform flawlesly.

If I could give this washer/dryer combo 0 stars, I would. In 1 year of owning it, we have had to have it repaired three times now. It sometimes takes 24 hours or more to dry a fairly basic load of laundry. Towels are a nightmare, and I often have to hang them to finish drying. It only seems to actually get the job done if we only throw 2 items in at a time. Massive waste of money and electricity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is beautiful and I love the concept of ventless drying using inverter heat pump technology. I was even willing to put up with longer cycles because I couldn't wash and dry at the same time. However, all I want to do is wash and dry my laundry, and I feel like this appliance is all about the cool technology - like adjusting the song that plays when the load is done, and notifying me on my phone - while not doing basic things like getting my clothes clean and drying them without leaving them as a steaming pile of wrinkled clothes. I can't figure out how to increase the amount of water to be easier on the clothes, or default it to continue tumbling the dried clothes periodically after the dry cycle is done. There are all kinds of cycles, but I have to spend hours on my computer to find out what those cycles actually do, and it's still unclear after I've read the descriptions. I'd like to be able to increase the water level when it seems my clothes aren't getting clean but they are looking worn out. They always come out of the dry cycle steaming hot (even delicates) and still damp/wrinkled. The control panel looks sleek, but it gives very little information without a series of touching touch screens, dialing knobs, and punching more touch screens and dialing more knobs, for things I could easily see on my old machine by just looking at the dials and switches on the console. I can't even turn on the drum light without at least six dials and punches. There are lots of nooks and crannies that trap lint and get moldy and are very hard to clean. The control panel - full of touch screens - is on the front, right at waist level, so anytime I'm using the top of the machine for sorting or folding, I'm constantly accidentally hitting the buttons, while when I intentionally hit them, I have to put my fingers just-so to activate them. I have watched You-Tube videos, I have chatted with support, I have a current service ticket (which may have triggered this request for a review) that was never followed up with actual service. I keep thinking if I understood this machine better I would be fine, but I've had it over a year, and it still feels like a major project whenever I do laundry. I feel this machine is massively over-engineered for things I don't care about but engineers think are cool, and little or nothing to just wash and dry laundry. Everything is more complicated, and my laundry outcome has not improved. It feels like having a Maserati that's always in the shop. I'm really sorry I gave up my old washer and dryer. I hardly ever thought about them, everything was simple and they just did what I wanted.

I would not recommend the LG combination washer/dryer. It washes fine but the dryer hasn't worked consistently since purchase. Sometimes we have to reset the dryer cycle multiple times to dry items, making it inefficient and a big time waster. We did have it serviced but it's still inconsistent.

This machine suits my family of four perfectly. I love just putting on one load overnight and having clean clothes when I wake up. This isn't a machine for someone who likes to do multiple loads of laundry a day but rather one who spreads out their laundry through the week. The cleaning process is so easy I assume I am missing something but it's truly that simple to clean. Oh and the ventless aspect is amazing.

This washer dry combo is a piece of crap. It's ruined my floor . It stops work everything 4rth or so load because it get stopped up. Then the only way to get it working is to remove the drain plug and water goes all over the floor. I would never wish this washer on my worst enemy.
