The machine wouldn’t stop drying it would get to 4 minutes and just keep running after 12 hours of being out of the house thinking I’ll get home and my clothes would be dry and machine off NO the machine still running and clothes still wet. I call LG they tell me I need to do an update still didn’t fix the problem. Call Lg back they send someone out they tell me it needs new parts they change the parts still didn’t fix it. I ended up returning the machine 3k worth of garbage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer-dryer is perfect for apartments and homes that have washer connections but no exhaust for a conventional dryer. The best thing about this appliance is the combined wash and dry function. No longer do I have to linger around the house waiting to exchange wet laundry from washer to dryer. Instead I can leave home during a laundry run while it does it's work over 3 to 5 hours. The ThinQ app will let you know the status of the current load and any issues (I have had none so far). The washer and dryer operations are very quiet, and have not been disruptive operating while I work in my apartment. It easily has the capacity for a king bed duvet cover (pictured). Buyers need to be aware that lint filter access is on top of the appliance, so it cannot be tucked under a counter. Also I recommend using fabric softener, because all clothing and bedding that I have washed so far does feel a bit stiffer after drying than when using a conventional dryer. In all, I am very happy with this very useful, elegant, quiet machine!

If there is a large amount of laundry, it is completely free from the time and inconvenience of having to put it in the washing machine and put it back in the dryer. You just have to put the laundry in there and forget it. The breakthrough function of all in one has relieved the inconvenience of housewives. It is also a liberation from having to put soapy water every time. If you put a certain amount in it, it will be solved by just putting the laundry more than five times. This purchase was by far the best money I ever spent. In my house we have 5 people. 3 of them being young adult boys. My washing machine was going all the time. This all in one washer dryer from LG is mind blowing and I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner. It’s ventless which means no need for a vent pipe to outside. I have a small laundry room and when the dryer is on there is no tenpature change in the room even through multiple loads of laundry. The fact that we can put a load in set the machine and it washed it and drys it is a game changer. Not to mention you save 60% on your electric bill because this thing senses the load and knows how long to dry it and it’s effectively right on the money for that. You can choose a just wash setting also for items you don’t want to be dryer in the dryer. In addition it has many many settings for all kinds of wash loads from blankets, towels, to delicates. I can easily fit an extra large load of clothes, I’ve done one load with over 15 towels in it. Plenty of space capacity. If your in the fence for purchasing do it you will be over the moon surprised as how much you get for your money. This is revolutionary technology and LG is a great brand. There is an LG app you can download as well that lets you start, stop and let’s you know when your clothes are done and it’s time to take out. If I could give this thing 10 stars I would. I just really love this machine and I know anyone like me who is on a budget and could use some time back for me will love this product as much as I do. Definitely definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a few months since we purchased this so thought I would add my short term review. Well after using this I can't imagine using anything else now. It has many cycle features but the Ai wash and dry just makes it simple. Dry times have been fine for us but we don't have a big family. Once you get used to it you wonder why we ever did it with 2 machines.

We purchased this to save room and electricity (compared to normal separate washer/dryer) We ran into common long dry times and found how to correct them from different sources on the internet. We also currently have a leaking drain pump that is being replaced under warranty - started leaking about a month after install. Wish LG website had better troubleshooting and common issue help. Have to clean the condenser every couple wash/dry cycles, but there is a guard screwed on covered by sticker that has to be removed first. Also the unit can wash a larger load than it can dry, so washing smaller loads work better or separating the washed cloths into multiple dryer loads. Overall a good product so far, just different from normal washer/dryer pair.

We can accept slow drying times, but we have typically require 2 to 3 two- hour cycles for clothes to dry. This defeats one of our big reasons for wanting the combo - not needing to be there to switch clothes over. Also drain which supposedly should be emptied every 10 loads needs emptying twice every load.
