I received my new washer/dryer combo last week and I have never been more excited to do laundry! I have always used top load washers, but the newer HE versions tend to leave white residue on my dark clothes. The switch to this front load LG combo couldn't have been easier! No residue on my clothes, energy efficient and nice looking. The ventless design allows for easy cleanup on top of the machine and it saved space in my small laundry room. The set it and go option is a game changer. No more spending hours waiting to switch clothes over when this model does it automatically!

While the drying time is much longer than a conventional electric dryer the convenience of not having to transfer between machines more than makes up for it. The delay between transferring at the end of standard washer and dryer pairs results in the same amount of time to complete a load. The need to clean 25 ft of dryer vent is also eliminated.

This is A GAMECHANGER and the best best best solution for my family as a busy mother of four. No more going up and down the stairs with bulky hampers every twelve seconds of the day (or realistically: constant piles on the floor because I’m not the most consistent). My KIDS now have a hamper and drop their own laundry in because they can reach easily, press two buttons (so easy my 7yo does it), and in 2 hrs it’s washed and dried!!! And without vents that meant we could slip it in our hallway by the bedrooms!! I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best thing of the year for me.

I have had this unit for a few months now and it's performance surpassed my expectations. Previous iterations of the washer/dryer combo always fell short with absurd dry times and lint build up exasperating that issue. This model addresses that issue by having a removable lint filter. A few quick tips to ensure peak performance. First you want to make sure when you're doing laundry that your loads consist of similar materials. If you're mixing different styles of clothes and then selecting AI wash and dry, you will find that at times your clothes are not completely dry. Secondly you want to make sure you're doing proper maintenance on the unit. Leave the door open when you're done to keep the gasket fresh and clear lint/debris from tiny drain hole in the middle of the gasket. As stated above there is a lint filter on top of the unit, there's also a drain filter on the bottom. Clean the lint filter before every load and clean the drain filter every 3 weeks to a month. Finally to really get the most from this unit you want to be connected to LG's Thinq app. Not only does it allow you to download different cycles such as the Nighttime mode; where the cycle completes and will occasionally tumble so your clothes don't get wrinkled, but whenever there is a new software update, you will be able to update that as well. LG is definitely showing innovation with this one!!

Seems to wash amazingly, clothes seem cleaner and smell fresher which is great. The clothes always have to go through the Dry cycle multiple times before I can fold and put away. At this rate it's a good thing there is only 2 in the household. Definitely been frustrating. I Do like the multiple selections and the choices I have.

I bought the LG Washer/ Dryer Combo to replace a 10 year old LG Washer and Dryer. They were both still working great but I was wanting a space saving unit. I am very pleased with the LG Combo. It is well worth it. We have 3 dogs and new Lint filter upgrade is great.

Disclaimer we live in a Brooklyn apt with 2 kids! Laundry has always been a pain because we had to go to a laundrymat. We decided to convert our half bath into a laundry and it was the greatest decision along with choosing the combo. space was very limited and I did a ton of research on the best option. First and foremost let's address the elephant in the room. This combo takes a long time to dry. This is just the nature of the beast and as technologically advanced this combo is, it still has limitations, because we do not have an option to vent out. But one great thing about this washer dryer combo is the AI and wifi connectivity. This means I can put a load of laundry in the wash at night while we go to sleep or in the morning when I drop kids to school and it will wash and dry efficiently on its own. This dryer has always dried all of my clothes to completion however the caveat is I do have to put it on an additional dry cycle. Not a big issue for my family as we're out and about and I love that I can just set it and forget it and not come back to wet smelly clothes because I've left it in the washing machine to long. I also love how spacious the inside of the combo is. Even though it has a small footprint I can still fit a whole comforter plus additional clothes inside of the cavity. The combo really makes life easy. I love the fact that I never have to reload detergent and softener. I can get about 20 loads done before I have to reload the detergent and softener again. The platform on the combo is so easy to use. Again the Wi-Fi connectivity is a huge bonus. I love that I can add an additional dry cycle to my load from the comfort of my bed. The combo does an amazing and thorough job cleaning the clothes no matter what cycle. I've used it on a quick wash and heavy duty and the clothes always come out smelling great and completely clean. Again this is a perfect situation for smaller homes. Even for a family of 4 like myself. Obviously if you have vent out cababilites, have a bigger family or even a bigger space I recommend a traditional washer and dryer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this device. It takes up half the space as my previous wash and dryer, doesn't need a gas line or a vent. I can run a load when I got to bed and it will be dry in the morning with no need to switch wet clothes from a washer to the dryer. It takes about 2.5 hours per load. I was initially worried about the dryer not getting my clothes dry, but they have been perfectly dry every time. I have owned this dryer for several months and my wife and I use it daily with no issues.

Incredible machine has longer cycle times but no vent very quiet we really like it. It does produce a lot of lint so much more cleaning of the filters than I expected and the condenser coil cleaning is necessary after about 50 loads and is an advanced process but works great.
