Mega Capacity with Inverter HeatPump™ Technology, and after using it for a while, I have some key takeaways. Pros • Space-Saving Design – As a ventless washer-dryer combo, this unit is perfect for small spaces, eliminating the need for separate appliances. • Large Capacity – The 5.0 cu. ft. drum can handle big loads, making it great for families or those who prefer fewer laundry cycles. • Energy Efficient – The Inverter HeatPump™ Technology helps save energy compared to traditional dryers. • Quiet Operation – The Direct Drive Motor runs smoothly with minimal noise, even during the spin cycle. • Convenience – No need to transfer clothes between washer and dryer cycles—just set it and forget it. Cons • Long Drying Times – The drying cycle takes significantly longer than a standalone dryer, sometimes up to three to four hours for heavier loads. • Lint and Moisture Management – Without a vent, excess moisture can build up in the room if not properly ventilated. Also, lint collection requires regular cleaning to maintain performance. • Learning Curve – The settings and functions are advanced, but it takes time to understand the best cycles for different fabrics. Final Verdict If you’re looking for a high-capacity, all-in-one solution that saves space and energy, this LG unit is a solid choice. I've used this device for a couple of months. It is indeed convenient not to have to shuttle clothes between two devices. But, this machine takes 3 or 4 hours to wash and dry a 2/3 load of clothes. It appears to me the heating element for the dryer is significantly under engineered.

I received my washer a little over a week ago and had to send in a review on this product. When I received the washer/dryer I wanted to test all of the listed features to make sure that everything worked as described. The wash & dry feature does adjust depending on the size of the load that you put in. So I started with a regular sized load, this resulted in a 1hr 52min cycle. I did find that if you open the washer door to add in clothes that it will increase the time allotted for the wash/dry cycle. That being said, when the wash/dry was complete the clothes were 90% dry. I left the clothes in while there was steam to completely dry. That did work and the clothes were fully dry within 10min. The transition between washer and dryer is seamless and you barely hear the machine when in a laundry room. I think that this is a great investment for a family that does laundry often. This washer dryer combo has saved so much time that I would be using switching from my washing machine to dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very satified with this washer/dryer combo. I love the space this unit saves me! I am getting used to the sounds, it always sounds like an airplane taking off or landing in our home! I do like the feature of the laudry soap and softener dispensers. The machine tells you when levels are low! We purchased the pedestal with the unit and I am grateful for the additional height of the unit. Putting the laundry in and setting the unit to wash and dry is wonderful! Just set and forget it!

I love how I can now do laundry in set-it-and-forget-it mode, without having to move the laundry from washer to dryer. And I can even start the wash from my phone! I can start it while I am at work the come home to find a freshly washed clothes and towels. I also love how much space it saves. I have a tiny basement, so I was so happy to see that now I have so much extra space for storage. And at the same time, this unit can hold more laundry than my previous washing machine. So basically, it's half the size of my previous washer/dryer set up, but it can wash more clothes. And much quieter too. Lastly, according to the energy star label, it will use half the electricity compared to my previous washing machine, so it looks like I will be saving money as well. To sum it up, this unit has exceeded my expectations in every aspect, and it is a much better upgrade from my previous washer/dryer separate set up. I'd recommend this unit to not just those don't have a lot of space but also anyone who want a top of the line washer/dryer with state of art technology.

Above all, it is good to reduce space, and it is so convenient to do it all at once. However, the disadvantage is that dust gets on the front door when turning the dryer. You don't have to clean up the dirt, but thinking that the dust will go in next time, it's cumbersome to clean it up every time. I'm satisfied with everything except this.

Works just as advertised. Ran many loads of different sizes/types and all came out clean. Occasionally additional drying was needed but that's simple to do. It's nice not needing to move clothes from washer to dryer. Not needing a dryer vent nor a 220-240 volt dryer plug makes this very versatile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really am amazed that this washer dryer combo can sense and detect the soil level. My laundry is usually done in 2 hours and twenty minutes. I prefer to use the AI selction. My gentle clothes I really like the permanent press cycle. I have used the towels selection and then dry they come out so soft and fluffy. The automatic soap and fabric softener works really well. . I am impressed with the ventless system. I do find lint in the rubber of the door that needs to be cleaned of lint. I just bought the unit and learning about the different sections of wash and dry .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having used this machine for about a month and a half I can say that this machine is more convenient than having a separate washer and gas dryer, and uses a fraction of the water and energy. With very few exceptions all of my laundry has come out perfectly clean and dry, and those few exceptions I can attribute entirely to my own user error due to either improper loading of clothes, or improper mode selection. When I say user error I am being completely serious. The first thing to understand is you can't stuff this thing full to the brim with clothes, and often times less is more. The second thing to understand is there are too many modes - this machine should have only three functions available to a normal user: AI Wash + Dry, AI Wash, and Dry Only. Don't try to be smarter than the machine, just let it detect the load settings for you and let the machine worry about the rest. Now that I've said all that, this machine isn't perfect and I do have a few things to point out: Too much information has been crammed into the small display so it's easy to miss out on certain things, like whether or not the mode you've selected has the 'dry' function activated or not, and I wish more work had been done on this aspect of the UX (any user who's attempted to wash towels or bedding on one of the non-AI modes and ended up with a pile of wet laundry knows what I'm talking about). I also wish there was a way to have the drum light stay on for longer, or just have it on the entire time the machine is running - I can't be the only person weird enough to spend a Friday evening, favorite beverage in hand, watching my laundry. If I could have one feature added it would be this: I would love to have the ability to use both the detergent and softener tanks for detergent, but instead of linking them together I wish I could give them meaningful names in the UI and and select them separately at the time I start the machine. Like a lot of people I don't use fabric softener: it makes clothes feel weird and it ruins the ability for towels to absorb water. However, I do use both scented and unscented detergent. Some of the people in my household like the scented detergent, but some of us are sensitive or allergic to fragrances and prefer our laundry without. Having this ability would be a huge improvement in how I use the machine for my needs, and I think it would be the same for a lot of other people with families too.
