I've had this product for just over a year now and it has been excellent for our family. It was a bit of a positive lifestyle change because now we run laundry once every day or two (family of 4) rather than devoting an entire weekend day to marathon laundry. One of my favorite parts is that I no longer worry about wet clothes sitting forgotten in a washer. Normal full loads are typically 2-3 hours to wash and dry. Towels can get closer to 5-6 hours so we definitely save those for last load of the night if there are multiple loads. Much less lint than our old dryer and clothing color and texture seems to last longer. Wrinkles do happen more frequently than with the old dryer; I believe this is because the heat pump drying is a softer heat so clothes aren't basically ironed like in a high heat dryer. We don't have issues with it if we either remove laundry right after the load is done, or we remember to turn on Laundry Care, which tosses the laundry around every couple minutes after the cycle so it doesn't stay in one place to develop wrinkles. There are reviews about drying and lint trapping no longer working. I had this problem too. Turns out I wasn't cleaning the lint filter good enough. You need to run the lint filter under tap water and rub the screen between your fingers to actually clean it out. I had tried everything else and this seemed insignificant, but it worked! I do it once a month now and no issues since. I recommend this product after one year of use.

We clean the top and bottom filter after every load and still have to hang clothes to dry. We followed every instruction - empty top and bottom filters after every load and dry the tub. Still won't dry. Horrible product and very disappointing.

I love this machine, took a risk and bought it due to space constraints and never going back. I am able to wash and dry my queen size comforter without any issues. I have it in a cabinet in the kitchen and it is quieter than most machines. The clothes come out clean and dry. I love that it is WiFi enabled.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my new washer/dryer combo last week. So far it has met my expectations. Another home run for LG. First and for most this unit has a lot of great features and cycles. I suggest before just throwing in a load and see what happens. Take some time and review the on line manual. It is a washer and dryer as well as wash /dryer. It has over 20 different cycles and combinations of wash and or dry. THere are several options built into most of the cycles. I really like the detergent / softner reservoirs and they are adjustable on how much they dispense. Looking fwd to using more of the features. It washers great and the heat pump does a very good job of drying towels. My wife loves the lighted tub. She can see if anything is left in it when empting it

We bought our machine at the end of January 2025, we have had it for less than 8 months and have already required 2 separate service calls. The first because the unit stopped drying the clothes, we had a defective filter that was changed out. Now our pump has stopped working and the washing machine won't drain. LG has been horrible to work with, service calls taking over a week to schedule. I will never buy another LG system again, this was a complete waste of money and I regret my purchase. LG doesn't even list the parts online for this model so you can order the parts yourself and fix the machine instead of waiting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the product for a couple of weeks now, and I must say, overall, this is a great product! The installation guys were super friendly! They made sure that everything was installed correctly and to my satisfaction. The wash is very effective. I love that it has so many different wash settings available for all the different types of wash, articles of clothing, fabric, etc. It is also very convenient to set each setting through the app that I downloaded. This machine is also very very big. A lot bigger than other washers that I've ever used. The only small negative that I can say is that the drying process does take longer than initially expected. However, this being a washer & dryer combo, the tradeoff of having a slightly longer dryer cycle is well worth the convenience. I do not mind having a longer dryer cycle if all I have to do is load the machine and walk away. I rather have the longer cycles rather than having to return and reload it into a separate machine. I did notice that if I put in lighter loads (no towels or beddings) it dries a lot quicker, but again, I personally don't want to do multiple loads and rather do one large long cycle. As someone who is all about convenience, this machine is perfect for me!

I am constantly on the go between kids sporting events and extra-curriculars, and have always had to time when I would start my laundry so that a dry cycle could start when I needed to be out-the-door. With the ability to seamlessly start drying my freshly completed wash, laundry has become one less thing to worry about in my very busy life. When I say ease of use, I really mean it. I would recommend that anyone who purchases this unit immediately pair it with the LG ThinQ app. To do so, download a free app and then pair it using the QR code found on the inside of the dryer door. My app was up and fully paired to the unit in under 5 minutes. Using the app, you can fully control the unit, from starting to stopping a cycle, checking energy usage, detergent levels and time remaining on an applicable wash or dry cycle.. There's also featured pages that will share with you laundry and fabric care tips and make the overall app experience top-notch. I have a relatively small laundry room, and was able to remove my old standalone dryer due to this unit. In its place I put a drying rack for clothing items that are wash-only. Speaking of wash only, you can definitely select that option and forego the dry option. I've learned to try and accommodate as many wash+dry cycles and possible and find myself using AI wash+dry for those cycles. My wash only cycles are completed when I know I'll be at the house for a while and can remove the clothing items from the unit. This was my first smart washer/dryer combo machine, and there was some learning curve to go along with it, but once you develop a new routine and find what cycles work best for your garments, you'll only wish you had a device this smart and efficient much sooner! DO NOT buy. This machine can’t wash or dry towels, blankets and really anything with any kind of efficiency. The advertised time is completely false. 7 hours to do a 3/4 full load of towels. 4 hours to do Lululemon gear for my wife and kids. Terrible decision.

I bought the LG Mega Capacity Smart Wash Combo All-in-One Washer/Dryer in Black Steel and have been using it for more than two weeks. I couldn't be happier with this choice. It washes and drys beautifully and is easier on fabrics than previous washing machines. And all while being extremely quiet and energy efficient. It's wonderful to load the clothes, set the program and return to everything perfectly washed, dried and ready to fold. Brilliant!
