This purchase was by far the best money I ever spent. In my house we have 5 people. 3 of them being young adult boys. My washing machine was going all the time. This all in one washer dryer from LG is mind blowing and I don’t know why I didn’t get one sooner. It’s ventless which means no need for a vent pipe to outside. I have a small laundry room and when the dryer is on there is no tenpature change in the room even through multiple loads of laundry. The fact that we can put a load in set the machine and it washed it and drys it is a game changer. Not to mention you save 60% on your electric bill because this thing senses the load and knows how long to dry it and it’s effectively right on the money for that. You can choose a just wash setting also for items you don’t want to be dryer in the dryer. In addition it has many many settings for all kinds of wash loads from blankets, towels, to delicates. I can easily fit an extra large load of clothes, I’ve done one load with over 15 towels in it. Plenty of space capacity. If your in the fence for purchasing do it you will be over the moon surprised as how much you get for your money. This is revolutionary technology and LG is a great brand. There is an LG app you can download as well that lets you start, stop and let’s you know when your clothes are done and it’s time to take out. If I could give this thing 10 stars I would. I just really love this machine and I know anyone like me who is on a budget and could use some time back for me will love this product as much as I do. Definitely definitely recommend.

the LG Wash combo All in One is a sleek machine in appearance and operation. Installation was straight forward and we were happy to gain back the space the old dryer inhabited. The programming is easy to use though I do recommend reviewing the instructions. We have not tried the ap yet. I have some older concert t-shirts that need delicate washing for preservation. The menu offers options beyond our old unit and works well. I was curious how effective the dryer would be without the need of a vent. It does take longer than our old dedicated unit. However I notice that it seems to be generating far less lint. This is likely going to extend the life of the laundry items. I can see that many will appreciate the ability to locate this machine in a place where a 220volt outlet, and dryer venting is not necessary.

We can accept slow drying times, but we have typically require 2 to 3 two- hour cycles for clothes to dry. This defeats one of our big reasons for wanting the combo - not needing to be there to switch clothes over. Also drain which supposedly should be emptied every 10 loads needs emptying twice every load.

Well after using this I can't imagine using anything else now. It has many cycle features but the Ai wash and dry just makes it simple. Dry times have been fine for us but we don't have a big family. Once you get used to it you wonder why we ever did it with 2 machines.

The convenience of going straight from Wash to Dry Cycles is a LIFE-SAVER!

If you have Dogs, Kids, or a lot of laundry, then don't buy this item. The advertised times of loads is not correct. We joke but it's true, "For Every Towel, add an Hour". You can't throw a load in and leave. At times we had a couple of towels in, and they dried but were stuck to the sides, all hard. One evening I started a load at 10:00pm. My son woke me up at 4:30am asking me what that sound was. The until was still on drying, and making a bad noise. The lower lint waste water collector is a pain in the butt. If it gets clogged, like if you have pets, then you have to pull out this little tube and drain all of the water out. Takes about 20 minutes, and don't remove the filter unless all the water is out. Such a mess. As a test to show how long a typical load takes, I spent a Saturday with one load that consisted of 1 pair of jeans, 6 shirts, and several socks. I would say a medium size load. Nothing out of the norm. It took 12 HOURS. (See in the photo below). This product is horrible.

I've had a ductless washer dryer combo before, and it washed just fine, but it would blow around wet air for over 4 hours and the clothes would still be moist. Plus I would have to tear it apart to clean out the Duct inside the dryer part once a year to clean out the wet lint trapped in there. But all that is over cleaning is simple, it gets the clothes dry, and in way less time. And it's supposed to be super energy efficient (I just don't pay that close attention).

I purchased the Wash/Combo All In One unit in November of 2024. There is much I like about it, (look, size, cleaning, etc.) but there are also some issues. The machine is operating as it should, i.e. soap dispensing, etc. but I find I can only do a small load if I want it to dry in less than 3 hours and not wrinkle terribly. Towels and jeans take forever. Almost every load comes out wrinkled. This is my major concern. I use the perm press cycle (increase the spin speed), then have to open the machine and shake out the clothes to reduce wrinkles and then dry on the perm press setting. Using this method helps, but things still wrinkle, but not as bad. This kind of defeats the purpose of the machine. It was an expensive choice to have the all in one option, so it is disappointing to have it not work as advertised. I have tried the AI wash cycle and the Wash/Dry cycle with the same result. Also, I am over 70 and the washer is so low that it is difficult to unload. I cannot afford to purchase the base unit, but I feel the washer is expensive enough that the base unit should be included, or the entire unit raised.
