I received this product as a free sample to test (these are my own opinions). When I opened the box the smell was overpowering. I typically try to stay away from scented laundry products, and will most likely pass this product onto someone else who will use it.

When my clothes come out of the dryer there are no wrinkles and everything smells GREAT. I tend to use more than the instructions indicate, simply because I love the fragrance.

Leaves the most lovely scent on your clothing which lasts for days and really makes your clothing super soft. The April Fresh scent is so comforting. These are my honest opinions and I was not paid for anything*** Downy although it is scented it didn’t break out their skin or cause any irritation. The smell is amazing. It’s just like the commercial. You just put the clothes up to your face and smell it. I know that when I wash my sheets I just fall face first on the bed. The sheets are still warm and the scent is amazing. It doesn’t stain clothes or anything. The little bottle Influenster put in the box was enough to last me like 10 loads. It wasn’t all that big. A small amount goes a very long way even in big loads. I know it might be hard to tell but everything feels a lot softer. I know for some stuff I have to air dry and they still feel soft even after they dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer is great! It was really easy to use in my HE washer. It made my laundry smell great. Not only that, but it made my clothes much less wrinkly, much softer and they have way less static than normal. I didn't even have to use a dryer sheet after washing. I am so pleased with the Downy Fabric Enhancer that I am adding it to my daily laundry routine.

This is my absolute favorite fabric softener! Not only does it actually make your clothes softer, it also smells wonferful!! This is always my first choice when purchasing fabric softener. I've used several others, from the same brand and other brands, and nothing comes close to working as well as this does! 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

I used to be a faithful Downy user. No more. First of all, if you shake it as the directions say, it pours out all over the place, not just from the spout. But the absolutely worst thing about it is that for some reason, it now leaves big blue spots all over my sheets and clothes. Sure they go away when I wash them again, but who wants that? I have tried many other fabric softeners and Downy is the only one that has ever left spots on my clothes. I've been using the "cheap" April fresh Downy since all the other products are ridiculously expensive in my opinion. I live alone so am only doing the wash for one person, but even so, I can find a lot better uses for the money I would spend on all the other Downy products.

My family and I used to use a different brand other than downy and my skin on my back would always break out. I'm not sure if switching had anything to do with it or not but a month after switching to downy, my back was clear! I'm now in college and this is the only fabric softener I use and I will be a lifelong customer because of how it actually changed how I felt about myself..oh and it also smells super refreshing!

I love how my towels and bed sheets feel after a wash with Downy! All my clothing comes out of the dryer smelling so fresh and clean. Downy also makes your clothing and linens less static and oh so buttery soft!! Highly recommend Downy with each and every load of laundry!!
