After using Downy’s April fresh fabric softener I have changed my outlook. The soft scent gives my clothes a subtle hint of fresh smell and they are so soft to the touch! I will be using this product from now on.

My clothes had NO static, NO wrinkles, and they came out smelling fantastic! The scent actually lasted DAYS. I was amazed and will be buying Downy every laundry shopping trip I make.

He came home the first day and ask me what I had done different to the wash? I admitted the errors of my ways and ran out to get Downy. The next day he came home and let me know everyone at work had also noticed . That day he received comments about how fresh his clothes smelled. I have all my married children using your products,too! I am also teaching my younger children. I will never switch again. Thanks for an awesome product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I have to hang dry some of my clothes, I can't use dryer sheets. As a result clothes become stiff when they are dried. By using a liquid fabric softener it allows my hang-dry clothing to stay soft once they are dried. This April Fresh fragrant is just right - not overpoweringly strong. I like how it makes my clothes feel and smell after they are dried. I would definitely purchase a full size for later!

I feel like this has kept my clothes soft and lasting longer without fading! Also, I have noticed that my clothes have less static and pilling. This is my preferred brand and will continue to be.

Downy made them so soft, I looked forward to going to bed just to wrap myself up in the blankets. April Fresh smells amazing and the scent is still on our clothes and bedding over a week later. I’m a fan for life!

I've been using Downy for years and years...it's the ONLY fabric softener I have used! UNTIL NOW!! I bought Downy a few days ago...only looked for the April Fresh scent listed on it...washed my clothes, walked into my laundry room and couldn't believe the SMELL ...actually it smelled like old clothes that had been sitting around...or maybe a generic detergent! I examined the clothes...smelled my Cheer bottle...smelled the Downy and then knew what was wrong...looked at the label and saw FABRIC PROTECT! omg...it's HORRIBLE and CERTAINLY NOT APRIL FRESH! YOU GUYS MESSED UP WHEN YOU ADDED "PEARLS" a few years ago...but NOW YOU'VE LOST A CUSTOMER!!! (and by the looks of things, more than `1 ) It wasn't broke...why did you mess it up??? Unless you bring back the original/or even latest Downy, I won't be buying anymore! In fact, I'm hoping I'll be able to get my money back...going back to the store tomorrow!! THE SMELL OF THIS IS HORRIBLE....WHAT WERE YOU PEOPLE THINKING?? AND if you wash clothes properly, that will protect them enough...WE DON'T NEED YOU PROTECTING OUR CLOTHES!!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had used Downy in the past, but due to cost and honestly, not seeing the results. I started using other brands. I went to back to Downy this week, and I am so glad I did! The liquid looks thicker than in the past, and my clothes were so soft when I pulled them out of the washer! My shirt that I almost always have to re-shape after washing, didn't need to be re-shaped. It smells amazing, and now that I'm wearing the clothes I just washed, I keep taking deep breaths because they smell so good. I don't think I'll buy another brand again.

However, I felt the fragrance was overpowering and lingered longer than what I expected. I would recommend Downy, but hope they lessen the amount of fragrance.

I've been using Downy softner since I can remember. While it's a bit pricy it seems to be worth it. The smell is great and it leaves my family's clothes soft, fresh and static free. Paired with the Downy Ball you can't go wrong. Simple to use and very effective in the fight for softer clothes! I tested Downy for free but the opinions are my own and true.
