[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner, I realized that I had been missing out on this great product for a very long time. When I brought this product home and opened the cap, the pleasant scent filled my room. My clothes were not only soft to touch, but the scent was long-lasting and filled the air where ever I went. In fact, many people asked me what I was using to do my laundry and that's when I mentioned this great product to them! A great product and definitely a keeper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew that the real test for this product would be to see how it works on my gym clothes. I was not disappointed. I work out 4-5 days a week, and I rotate between two t-shirts and two pairs of pants. I have used these clothes for over a year and a half, and I began to notice that even after washing (and using a different fabric softener), that my clothes were starting to retain that sweaty, stinky smell. I was just about ready to trash them when I decided to try the Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer. The scent in the bottle is not overpowering, and I didn't need to use as much as I suspected. My stinky old gym clothes now smell fresh, and dare I say, NEW! I'm very pleased! The scent after washing is even lighter than in the bottle, and to me, it smells fresh. Another thing I noticed is that there seemed to be less lint in the lint trap, which is definitely a good thing. My only complaint (and it's minor) is that the fill lines inside the cap are a bit difficult to see.

The fragrance usually lasts for a day or two and that's what I've learned to expect. This April fresh Downy fabric softener totally blew me away. I am a person who likes prominent, strong scents and this Downy provided that. I did 3 separate loads to test it on different types of clothes and temperatures. The first load was sheets, underwear, socks, and towels. With the exception of one pair of my daughter's socks (I don't think a product exists that can make her socks smell perfect), everything else smelled amazing. The next load was whites. Equally came out of the dryer smelling fresh and pleasant. The 3rd load was colors, and once again, the Downy fabric softener did not disappoint. It's been 3 days since I washed everything, and I'm happy to report that the scent is still potent and there. It's not as strong as it was on day one, but everything still smells fresh and clean. I love all Downy products! It's easy to use and the sample I received completely free was enough to allow me to really make an informed opinion of it. It makes my clothes soft and they smell wonderful!! It's not very expensive to buy and there are always coupons available as well.

However on my next load I will use 1/2 the recommended dose because the smell although smells lovely is a bit overwhelming for me because of my asthma.

I have always loved Downy and the way it makes our clothes smell. I received Downy® Fabric Softener for free, but all opinions are your own. I used Downy on my husbands dirty smelly work clothes, he works in a factory that has no air condition and he works with fiber glass. The smells on his clothes when he gets home is horrible, thats why I love Downy. Downy always get the bad smell out and makes his clothes soft again. There is nothing else I will use, Thank you for a wonderful product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally use another brand of fabric softener so i was excited to try this one! Within the first wash i was already in love! My towels smelled amazing and they were really soft. I washed them on a Sunday and on friday when i went to go get one it still smelled fresh out the wash. I recommend this product to anyone. I know this will be the only one i buy from now on.

Normally I just use fabric sheets in the dryer, but I decided to give this a try. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! Not only did my clothes feel softer but they also had a lot less static than using fabric sheets. I really enjoyed the April Fresh scent as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this April Fresh Ultra Downy with Fabric Protection. My clothes smell as fresh as a spring morning right after a rain shower. There is no static cling. I just tried it, I usually use the Downy with no smell for my daughter, but she moved out - so I switched and will stay with this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally use pods that have downy in them and have always LOVED the smell of the downy but I didn't feel like there was enough downy infused in the pod so I was not getting the real benefits. Adding this product to my laundry made a real difference. Not only an even fresher sent but the fabric felt SO soft! I will stay loyal to using this product from now on!
