[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very picky when it comes to any kind of laundry detergent or fabric softeners. There are some detergents/softeners that will give me an allergic reaction. Downy April Fresh Liquid Conditioner is absolutely amazing. My clothes have never felt so soft and smelled so good before. A little of this will go a long way.

I never used the original Downy April Fresh fabric softener so I can't compare the newer version with that one. I like a lot of scent on my clothes and the newer version makes our laundry smell sooo good! My current laundry combo is Tide Original, Downy April Fresh and Bounce Outdoor Fresh dryer sheets. This laundry combo makes our laundry smell fresh and clean, soft and static free. If the newer version is too strong for you, I suggest cutting it 50/50 with an unscented fabric softener (it could even be a store brand version) or using less fabric softener per load. If you still don't like the newer version, you could try Snuggle Blue Sparkle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened the bottle of Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer, I was a bit concerned with the scent. I found it overpowering and generally not the type of scent that I am usually drawn to for laundry products (I love the Botanical Mist scented Downy products). However, I found after using the product in the wash, the scent isn't overpowering on freshly washed clothing. I think the product does help with softening fabric. I have generally tried to reduce household products with heavy scent, dyes, and other chemicals, but still find myself reaching for Downy with items such as sheets, towels, and jeans, because they feel crunchy and uncomfortable when I don't use it. My sheets and towels also feel much fresher when I pull them out of the closet a week after a wash compared to when I don't use Downy. Jeans and other clothing items are noticeably less wrinkly when I use Downy. I do not care for the fact that all of the ingredients used in the product aren't disclosed. Some simply say dye, perfumes, etc. This gives me great concern, because if Procter & Gamble feels the need to keep them off of the label, I automatically think that there must be a reason for it. With my children's skin being exposed to the fabric in their clothes and sheets pretty much all of the time, I'm unwilling to use this product on their items. All in all I think this is a decent product, but I am giving a rating of 2/5 because I do not care for the scent and because of concern over the ingredients used.

I have a toddler and really want our towels to feel nice and soft for her sensitive skin. I was lucky to receive this product to test for FREE from Influenster, but rest assured that this review is ALL me. I LOVE this stuff! It smells fantastic and our towels have never felt softer. As a mom, I couldn't ask for more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that hit me was the scent. I am a lover of the classic Downy scent that says freshness without being too much. It left our clothes fragrant and soft. Because I am a super-busy working mom, I appreciate the fact that it kept my sons' clothes wrinkle free from the dryer to the hangers.

I have always been a downy fan and one thing I can say is their products continue to get better every time. I used this on my white clothes as I want super soft whites and using bleach that makes clothes stiff I knew this is what I needed to try it on. My first impression was when I opened the dryer and the wonderful fresh scent was fabulous. I then reached in and I did not feel stiff crunchy clothes , instead I grabbed soft clothes that felt like silk. I will never use another brand. Nothing compares to Downy.

This is my go to. Its gentle and smells amazing! I even buy this stuff and put it in a spray bottle and spray my fabrics down with this stuff and it lasts for days. I love that it makes my laundry so soft too. You cant beat the price of this stuff either

My husband works with a smelly chemical for his job which leaves his work clothes smelling terrible. I used to have to wash them two or three times to get the smell out, but after using Downy just once they are clean, fresh and soft... ready for him to wear the next week for work! Downy is my go to fabric softener and freshener! I was lucky enough to try this product for free, but all opinions are my own.

My absolute favorite thing about it is the smell. It's a wonderful fresh scent and I have even been complemented in the grocery store!!! Downy does everything it claims to do; reduces static, helps keep clothing wrinkle free, keeps colors bright, cuts down on fuzz, and did I mention smells wonderful??
