[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this in the mail as I came home from vacation, with lots of dirty laundry. I never had used fabric softener, just a dryer sheet, and was very surprised what a difference it made. The clothes were dofter, and smelled very fresh. Since I just began using it a few weeks ago, I am not sure about the lack of color fade. But, fabric softener, you have gained a convert!

I love the scent of this Downy, I will choose it over everything else. It leaves our laundry smelling so good, no static cling at all, It can be expensive. But for us it lasts a while. I do recommend you try it. You won't be disappointed. I just throw it in the washer with my laundry in the Downy ball.

I like that my clothes come out softer, less wrinkly, less staticky, and with fewer pills and fuzz. I hate when I wash clothes, and the vibrant colors are stripped away so they come out dull. Using Downy has helped retain the bright color and keep it from fading too much. And the best part is that my children especially love the April Fresh scent that lingers on their clothes and blankies after they've been washed. Would highly recommend this product!

I once LOVED April Fresh liquid fabric softener so very much... everything I washed smelled so amazing, like I never want to stop smelling it..... UNTIL RECENTLY! I don't know why Downy would change such an amazing smelling product... especially going to this HORRIBLE new smell! I will not be buying again unless they change it back. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite thing about this fabric softener is the smell. It smells very strong even before I opened the bottle. So it left my clothes smelling fresh, flowery, and clean.  If you don't like strong smells I wouldn't try this, though it is somewhat muted once it goes through the wash. It also did a fantastic job at leaving my clothes static free once they were dried. It also left my clothes feeling softer, though not amazingly so. I like this stuff enough to finish the bottle but not enough to get another bottle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no idea why, but I've never used fabric enhancer before. I've used conventional dryer sheets, natural wet dryer sheets, and wool dryer balls. I was incredibly pleased with Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer - I gave it my first go-around with my sheets, and now I'm never going back. They smelled so good and were so soft that I immediately just wanted to lie on them. There was ZERO static. The softness and scent lasted until the next washing. I've done about ten loads of laundry with this product and I have really noticed a difference in the softness and lack of static cling. I'll have to give it a longer trial run to see if it helps maintain color - that would be a huge bonus. The only complaint I have is that the instructions said to shake the product before use. I did, and when I opened the lid to pour into the cup and dispenser, there was quite a bit of spillage.

Usually we come home from the practices, and games to my whole house, and cars smelling like a gym bags. So to my amazement this product has turned my frown upside down.I have used it for 2 weeks now and I love the smell so much I even added it to a spray bottle and used it as an air freshner for my car! Using Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner has made all my clothes super soft that I have stopped using dryer sheets all together. Talk about a homerun.

Love picking up a freshly washed towel and have it have that nice clean scent - best on sheets too! This Downy softener is also great on static. I haven’t used dryer sheets while using this softener and my clothes come out static free and softer than ever! I’m looking forward to continuing to use this to see if it truly protects my fabrics and to continue experiencing soft, clean smelling, static free clothing!
