[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew that the real test for this product would be to see how it works on my gym clothes. I was not disappointed. I work out 4-5 days a week, and I rotate between two t-shirts and two pairs of pants. I have used these clothes for over a year and a half, and I began to notice that even after washing (and using a different fabric softener), that my clothes were starting to retain that sweaty, stinky smell. I was just about ready to trash them when I decided to try the Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer. The scent in the bottle is not overpowering, and I didn't need to use as much as I suspected. My stinky old gym clothes now smell fresh, and dare I say, NEW! I'm very pleased! The scent after washing is even lighter than in the bottle, and to me, it smells fresh. Another thing I noticed is that there seemed to be less lint in the lint trap, which is definitely a good thing. My only complaint (and it's minor) is that the fill lines inside the cap are a bit difficult to see.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer is quite a mouthful as names go but it describes this fabric softener PERFECTLY! My absolute favorite thing about it is the smell. It's a wonderful fresh scent and I have even been complemented in the grocery store!!! Downy does everything it claims to do; reduces static, helps keep clothing wrinkle free, keeps colors bright, cuts down on fuzz, and did I mention smells wonderful??

My husband works with a smelly chemical for his job which leaves his work clothes smelling terrible. I used to have to wash them two or three times to get the smell out, but after using Downy just once they are clean, fresh and soft... ready for him to wear the next week for work! Downy is my go to fabric softener and freshener! I was lucky enough to try this product for free, but all opinions are my own.

The April Frest scent alone proved me wrong. Not only did it leave my dirtiest laundry smelling like April flowers. My clothes were noticeably softer, fluffy and huggable. There’s no stiffness or leftover residue.

I LOVE Downy April Fresh fabric softener. My mom used this when I was younger, and I use it in my household today. Not only does it make my family's clothes soft, but it makes them smell so fresh and clean! I have been using Downy softener for years, and will not switch.

I love fabric softener but I had always used a different brand. I got to try this one for free so I thought, "Why not?" I loved it! I am definitely switching. When I first tried it, I was still pregnant, and smells were very iffy for me. This one smelled wonderful and fresh. My clothes felt great too. Simply in love! (Although I got to try this product for free, the opnions stated are entirely my own.)

I stopped using Downy liquid in my college years when I had to take my clothes to the laundromat. Using Downy Liquid with fabric Enhancer has been an eye opener. My clothes are much softer and I notice there is much less static, which is important to me and the scent just can't be beat. Since I like to buy clothes with the intent of wearing them a long time, I am excited to use something that protects fabrics from pilling, fading and stretching. It is nice to be able to give my family such comforting towels and sheets. Everything comes out of the dryer soft and pleasantly scented. Also, it is nice to be able to use Downy in the wash instead of dryer sheets so my items I hang dry are soft too.

I have used Downy April Fresh fabric softener for longer than I can remember, and have NEVER considered using anything else. The last bottle that I bought smelled awful - not clean or fresh and definitely not the same scent that I've used for 20 odd years. I went back to the store the next day and opened and smelled every bottle I could reach. They all stink. Bring back the original scent Downy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got a new puppy and he loves soft things but he isn't fully potty trained so soft blankets aren't the most ideal because they get rough in the wash....or so we thought....Downey April Fresh makes it so my sweet puppy can get a soft blanket every time that smells fresh and not like wet dog!
