[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite fabric softener, bar none. I've tried several others over the years, but I always come back to liquid Downy. When my clothes come out of the dryer there are no wrinkles and everything smells GREAT. I tend to use more than the instructions indicate, simply because I love the fragrance.

I've been using Downy Ultra for years and I was in love with the scent, it was very fresh and distinct from other brands. However when I bought some this week they had a new fabric protection feature which I thought was great. When I got home to use it, I was extremely disappointed by the new smell it had. Yes, it leaves our clothes really soft but with an awful smell. The new scent is similar to another brand which is called Suavitel or something similar. The smell is somehow acrid and very unpleasant. I really hope they were only the ones I bought this time.

I have loved Downy softener for years. I even remember as a child I loved when my Mom would wash our clothes using Downy softener. It always made the clothes soft and smelled so fresh. The smell is like a fresh clean breeze as if your clothes were hung on the line to dry. I will continue using it. I recently got a sample to review for my unbiased review and i can say it still smells good as I have always remembered

While they do an okay job, I can clearly see the difference with Downy. My clothes came out so soft! They smell amazing and that freshness lasts longer. My clothes are wrinkle free with no static. I'm not sure what more I could ask of a fabric softener. I highly recommend Downy to anyone who hasn't used it in a while. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the difference.

I have been using Downy for quite awhile now, I have veered off and tried other brands but always seem to come back to Downy. I find this product to be affordable especially with coupons and does exactly what you want a fabric softener to do! Just having fresh towels straight out of the dryer with the April Fresh scent is just heaven in my opinion. I tested Downy® Fabric Softener for free, but all opinions are your own.

It leaves my clothes so soft & smooth. The smell is so fragrant & last so long that I still smell it in some clothes I'm washing a week later!

I received this bottle of Ultra Downy April Fresh liquid fabric softener for free - to try out and share my personal opinion. The scent is aromatic but not overpowering. It freshens up my entire kitchen as well as the laundry. I experienced no skin irritation or other adverse effects. My clothes came out of the dryer freshly scented and soft. I just wanted to buy my face in them and forget about the folding. I am glad I had the chance to try April Fresh, and will be definitely buying a new bottle once I'm done with this.

It makes my clothes and sheets smell and feel fresh as well as soft and comfortable. I have used other fabric softeners in the past but always come back to Downy as hands down the best and this product excels even beyond my expectations. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've honestly never used fabric softener in my daily routine. I always thought it was for the more delicate clothes. The first thing I noticed was how much fresher my laundry smelled, even sports uniforms (including the socks!) :) The April Fresh scent is "flowery", but not too overpowering. The next thing I noticed was how much softer everything was, even t-shirts that I've had for years are much softer after just the first wash. My towels also seem softer and fluffier. I will definitely be repurchasing this after I run out!

This is the only fabric softener that I use. My mom has used it for years which is why I use it too! I love the smell and it definitely makes my clothes feel softer! Giving it 4 stars because some of my items have blue stains on them after using the softener. I think this is most likely user error, but it has happened more than once.
