We have tried this product for multiple purposes at our house and it was been wonderful for everything! First off, my daughter had a box full of My Little Pony dolls with frizzy hair that we had been unable to do anything with. She would often comment that they were no longer beautiful and as a result, no longer wanted to play with them. However, Downy came to the rescue! Equal parts of Downy and water made combing the pony's hair manageable, and today we have nice smooth manes and tails! So thankful this product brought toys back to life that otherwise would have ended up in our yard sale pile. Bonus is the the wonderful scent our pony's now have! Secondly, we love this product for laundry! From my daughters clothes to bed sheets, we love how soft our clothes feel! And the smell is delightful! I received and tested this Downy Fabric softener for free, but the opinions are mine. Would highly recommend this product!

April fresh downy had been used by three generations of my family. I guess I was the last because nothing compares to the old April fresh. I used to love how my blankets smelled after hanging on the washline. The new scents stink and I no longer purchase Downy fabric softener. You had 3 generations of customer loyalty and you blew it.

We have some sensitive noses in our house who object strongly to intense scents on clothes. I love that I can choose how much I want to add to a load and it does enough to control odors and give it a mild fresh scent. It does a good job at covering up sweat odors and the fresh scent lasts a good while. Clothes coming out of the drawers weeks later still smell nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since my husband and I live in a small condo our laundry room is a laundry closet (sorry but I tried to turn the picture) and it is part of our kitchen. The great thing about using Downey is that not only did our clothes come soft and really, really smelled fresh, but our whole apartment smelled wonderful. It seems that by using Downey I can use less that other watered down softeners, but the wonderful fresh scent is by far better than anything else I have ever used. What could be better than soft and scented!

I always buy 4 or 5 bottles of Downy at a time. I thought there was just something wrong with the first bottle I used and was very negative when I used the 2nd and 3rd bottle. Apparently, it's all watered down now and the static in my clothes is horrible! I never buy any other fabric softener because how watered down they are. But, I guess I will try some of the other brands now. At least they aren't as expensive for their watered down fabric softener. It's hard to believe that something I have used my whole life is completely ruined now. It would have been nice to know before I bought 5 bottles. :(

I've been using Downy for years and years...it's the ONLY fabric softener I have used! UNTIL NOW!! I bought Downy a few days ago...only looked for the April Fresh scent listed on it...washed my clothes, walked into my laundry room and couldn't believe the SMELL ...actually it smelled like old clothes that had been sitting around...or maybe a generic detergent! I examined the clothes...smelled my Cheer bottle...smelled the Downy and then knew what was wrong...looked at the label and saw FABRIC PROTECT! omg...it's HORRIBLE and CERTAINLY NOT APRIL FRESH! YOU GUYS MESSED UP WHEN YOU ADDED "PEARLS" a few years ago...but NOW YOU'VE LOST A CUSTOMER!!! (and by the looks of things, more than `1 ) It wasn't broke...why did you mess it up??? Unless you bring back the original/or even latest Downy, I won't be buying anymore! In fact, I'm hoping I'll be able to get my money back...going back to the store tomorrow!! THE SMELL OF THIS IS HORRIBLE....WHAT WERE YOU PEOPLE THINKING?? AND if you wash clothes properly, that will protect them enough...WE DON'T NEED YOU PROTECTING OUR CLOTHES!!!! Wondering if the dryer sheets are messed up, also??? LOOKING FOR ANOTHER FABRIC SOFTENER PRONTO!!!!

This April Fresh scent is perfect for all year round to keep the smell vibrant and clean. The fabric conditioner protects my clothes for me. Knowing how cheaply made clothes can be, Downy looking out for maintaining the quality of my clothes is very important to me.

It leaves a fresh scent leaves clothes clean not wrinkles at all u can use other scents easy to pour in ur washer machine i dont need to improve anything its very affordable not expensive at all u can buy it anywhere yes i recommend it to others very useful

I love to use downy fabrics softener. To refresh the winter blankets each fall In Preparation of the cold night heading our way And movie nights on the couch also love to use it in early spring to wash up all the beach towels and table cloths great product to make everything smell great
