Had to return this item. When we opened bag and tasted them they had a bad smell and tasted terrible. Won't buy again.

I was excited to find this product at Sam's. Having it here has encouraged me to look up recipes in which to incorporate the black walnuts. They are so rich in flavor. Definitely thankful that I bought them.

First, if you don't like bold, earthy flavors then these may not be for you. Second, if you've never tasted black walnuts, now is not the time to experiment. However, these are fantastic when paired with chocolate anything (cookies/brownies), salads, and even in cottage cheese. The best part is how healthy they are. I was totally shocked to see black walnuts for sale anywhere, but at Sam's Club it's a big bonus.

Love these walnuts! Real Black Walnut taste that comes through whatever you're mixing up or baking. They are a bit pricey but because they have such a wonderful taste I sometimes get by using a few less than I would with other walnuts. Thank you for continuing to offer Hammons Black Walnuts at an affordable price!

These are the best black walnuts. I have been ordering them for a few years now.

I returned this product. It had a strong chemical smell when I opened the bag. The nuts themselves were rancid. I'd pull the product from the shelf.

Totally ruined our traditional holiday baking. English walnuts were not available but black walnuts are not a good substitute.

I returned these. I purchased two bags, one for me and one for my son's family. The nuts tasted terrible, some chemical like taste or they were rancid, We couldn't tell.

Excellent black walnuts. The price is phenomenal if you have ever picked out black walnuts from their hull before yourself. It takes hours for a small handful.
