These are by far great walnuts and a good buy I think. They smell and taste fresh, very stale or old. I only use black walnuts in my Banana Bread, in in my fudge, and in my cranberry salad. They really bring out the taste in whatever their in. I bought 4 bags so far.

The Black Walnuts we purchased were fresh and delicious, making them perfect for our holiday baking! The quantity was just right, allowing us to create a variety of treats without running out. The price was excellent for such quality walnuts, making it a great value. We’re thrilled with our purchase and will definitely buy them again for future baking needs! Highly recommend these for anyone looking to elevate their holiday recipes!

We love these black walnuts in my banana bread! Love to snack on them too!

The first time I ate these I thought something was wrong. They taste a little fruity and slightly fermented. I looked it up online and discovered the flavor IS different than normal farmed store bought English walnuts. I like them in small batches and plan to use some in baking. Higher protein content is a plus too.

I buy at least two bags every time there in stock.

First, if you don't like bold, earthy flavors then these may not be for you. Second, if you've never tasted black walnuts, now is not the time to experiment. However, these are fantastic when paired with chocolate anything (cookies/brownies), salads, and even in cottage cheese. The best part is how healthy they are. I was totally shocked to see black walnuts for sale anywhere, but at Sam's Club it's a big bonus.

My sistet told me about these particular black walnuts and they live up to everything she said - you can even SMELL the quality that the are. I will only be buying this brand from now on.

I thought I would splurge on something better than the members mark, big disappointment. The pieces were like crumbs, they didn't taste good and were stale very quick.

they are too soft and have a strong bitterness tase

These black walnuts are very bitter. Yes, I know the difference between black walnuts and English walnuts. I thought I had found a deal, which they would be, especially for the price. But they are not the best black walnuts, you can buy by far. I'm back to ordering from Nuts. com, sadly.
