Walnuts are excellent for your liver and great protein.

The first time I ate these I thought something was wrong. They taste a little fruity and slightly fermented. I looked it up online and discovered the flavor IS different than normal farmed store bought English walnuts. I like them in small batches and plan to use some in baking. Higher protein content is a plus too.

Great Flavor. English walnuts do kot come even close yo the flavor that black walnuts add to baked goods. Use them in fudge, cookies, and banana or zucchini breads. For some reason, black walnuts are hard to find. These are a great value at Sams club.

These are by far great walnuts and a good buy I think. They smell and taste fresh, very stale or old. I only use black walnuts in my Banana Bread, in in my fudge, and in my cranberry salad. They really bring out the taste in whatever their in. I bought 4 bags so far.

Can't wait to buy the black walnuts every fall.

These black walnuts are like the ones I used to eat as a child years ago.

My sistet told me about these particular black walnuts and they live up to everything she said - you can even SMELL the quality that the are. I will only be buying this brand from now on.

Love these walnuts! Real Black Walnut taste that comes through whatever you're mixing up or baking. They are a bit pricey but because they have such a wonderful taste I sometimes get by using a few less than I would with other walnuts. Thank you for continuing to offer Hammons Black Walnuts at an affordable price!

Had to return this item. When we opened bag and tasted them they had a bad smell and tasted terrible. Won't buy again.
