Strong chemical smell.

This gel pillow has been comfortable, BUT, it has a strong chemical odor that is not like my past gel pillow. It also has a minimal cooling gel effect, also not like my last gel pillow. I will be returning it, in search of a replacement like my last gel pillow.

I was curious about this pillow after reading the reviews. It is small, and it hurt it to be a little thicker because it can be compressed easily, it's soft. But it did help my neck. Maybe I was given one (i picked up) that had already been returned and this is what they are like after being broke-in. I'm going to have one shipped and see if it's any firmer. But I'm happy that it helped.
