While weighing for the freezer, the product weight was short by 3oz, or one serving, until I put the packaging back on the scale. I don't like paying meat prices for a piece of plastic. It was still cheaper per pound than buying a smaller package but just feels like more of the post-Covid gimmicks and imaginary crises to wrangle more from consumers.

Good for grill out gatherings. I heated it up in a pan, in the microwave and air fryer but the best taste in my option is on the grill. My family likes it but it’s not my personal favorite unless it is grilled on the BBQ pit/grill. Will continue to purchase because it’s a great price and my daughter eats it all the time.

Im not sure what happened if before the store got it, it had not been refrigerated or if walmart did not refrigerate it properly but the package was sealed and date not expired but it was bad, the sausage was bad. I can only think that refrigeration was the issue because sausage with all the preservatives does not go bad like that.

I have passed by these smoked sausages so many times while in the store. Never thinking twice about purchasing, as I do not like the taste of smoked sausages. Only deciding to purchase after seeing them on sale. My first purchase, I was just in awe of the taste. After frying, there is hardly any fat left like other sausages. I have purchased three packages since the first purchase. I have them in the freezer, not to run out too soon. I have also recommended to friends and family.

These have always been good. If you smoke them with cherry wood and brush on BBQ sauce while smoking they are excellent. Microwaving them still results in good eats, but not as good as smoking. Frying slices up for use in eggs or other things is great too.

I love this large package. I can buy one package and it will provide us with 4 meals. I make a Portuguese Soup with it and I freeze what is left for another day. The sausage is always fresh and tasty. And this is something that is versatile, you can grill it, fry it. bake it, slice it long ways or slices you would slice a cucumber. Since you are basically heating it up it is quick and easy to prepare. I can put on a pot of rice, cook some smoked sausage and cook a fresh vegetable in less than 30 minutes. And kids love it.

I freeze these in single packs and keep in house all the time. I slice them and fry with onions and add Zatarains Dirty Rice or Jumbalaya. Makes a great meal no matter what you use it with. Also good alone as what the Brits call a fry up....just sausage and mashed potatoes. Yum. This is very tasty sausage.

My favorite smoked sausage! I use it in a variety of ways, breakfast, lunch and dinner meals! I also boil the sausage about 4-5 min, stirring it while in plain water to cut some of the sodium before using it. It's just enough time to decrease the sodium but not the flavor!!

The smoked sausage is nothing like the smoked sausage I’m used to, it cooks, looks %26 tastes basically like hotdogs %26 I don’t like hotdogs, %26 burns up like dogs too, you cannot fry them, if you like hot dogs, then this sausage is for you, but I will not be buying this brand again!
