I'm not a big fan of Sausages. So much salt it tastes bad. However, I like the flavor of Eckrich products. I cut these lengths apart, then cut each length into four pieces, remove the casing and put them in a freezer bag. So I get several packs from one of the family packs. And they keep well, in the freezer. When I am ready to use a pack I actually boil the four pieces from five to 15 minutes depending on how the water looks - to get excess salt and fat out. The water gets cloud and very salty, so clearly the process works. Then I put them in the microwave to get the waterlogging out which also gets rid of any remaining fat. The taste is good and adds flavor to a rice, noodle, or potato dish, also works as a pizza topping, in soup, a salad.

I've been buying this brand of smoked sausage for years, it's my favorite because it's constantly great. The price has gone up like on everything but that just means slicing a little thinner and adding extra love.

These are so good love the flavor I use this in red beans and rice cut up with some cabbage in the air fryer on a piece of bread there's so much you can do with these literally one of my favorite things to buy so versatile great quality with a great price ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is versitile you can cut about 3 inches off boil it %26 place in a hot dog bun with our without cheese add mustard or split it down the middle fry it %26 add to 2 slices of bread or cut it into bite size pieces %26 add it to jambalya, fried cabbage or fry it up for breakfast

Eckrich is our family's greatest discovery in smoked sausage/kielbasa brands. There were no better taste and safer sausages we've tried. Absolute best!!

I haven't purchased smoked sausage in awhile and wanted try try it with some garden beans and potatoes. It turned out great, no leftovers. I tried a small sample before putting it in the pot and normally when you buy smoked sausage it's super salty. This wasn't and it had good flavor. I will be purchasing this again if it doesn't get too high-priced.

Love buying the Eckrich in bulk to make homemade sausage rolls! Try it with Rhodes dinner roll dough. Thaw dough, roll them up and toss them in the oven! You can also add cheese and jalapeño to jazz it up even more. Cooking instructions are the same as the rolls. You can thank me later!

The family packs of the Eckrich smoked sausage was a good idea on their part. My family loves it every time I cook this and I like only having one pack to open instead of two. Plus it cuts down on the amount of waste I'm having to trash with only one packaging.

Why has Eckrich stopped making the larger diameter all beef sausage? The favor of the all pork is great but the casing is too tough for young eaters to fully enjoy.

I purchased this today for father day and when I got it out to use it it was green . I already through it was not happy . I buy this brand all the time .
