Excellent cooling for my 20 x 24 garage. Very quiet compared to my 30 yr old a/c that it replaced. Fits in the small window and enjoy keeping the humidity down. Too many extra controls for my liking, but great for those that need them. I only needed on/off and temp control. But everything today has the extra functions. Totally satisfied and am going to get one for over the garage room that presently only has heat available.

Unit works even better than expected! Replaced a fairly new 10,000 BTU portable ac unit that never quite cooled the room adequately. The Midea 12,000 BTU unit cools the room to the desired temp in a matter of minutes and has made a significant difference in our sleep quality during Florida summers. Bought a second unit for our daughters bedroom as well.

We’ll see how this works long term. Overall, two of these plus a third smaller unit in a bedroom manage to keep our 1900sqft home comfortable. We live in an area that sees low 90s on the hottest of days. They cool our house but probably would not do the same in Texas/Arizona etc Super quiet. App controls are nice. Very energy efficient relative to an older 10k unit they replaced. Similar units from big hardware stores are nearly twice the price of Sam’s.

Started using it for about 2 weeks now and it works fine, but after the first week so I noticed that whenever I put the mode in cool and fan in low there's an unwanted mechanical noise coming from the inside of the ac. So Im keeping an eye on it. No problems with the installation and I'll update in a few weeks or maybe months if anything goes wrong. For now since theres no problem whatsoever I'll give it a 4 star.

Don’t be fooled, this AC sucks. I replaced my 5k BTU AC with this one that worked perfect for 10 straight years. This one canning cool a 20x15 room with low ceilings. It’s the worst unit I’ve ever purchased and went back to the store after 1 week of use.

We purchased this A/C a little over a month ago but didn't install it because of the cool weather. We have since been using it about a week, we are very pleased. It was so quiet compared to our last unit, we awoke and thought it was off.

Easy installation! Put in the hottest room in the house and suddenly the whole house is comfortable. No more hot air blowing from one room to the rest of the living space. This product is a game changer.

It worked great in an insulated cabin. We got this for my parents who cannot handle the high summer heat without ac any more and it kept the 800sq ft cabin under 70 with out side temp at over 95
