Unit cools well and it was a great price.

Time will tell, but at this point I am very happy with my purchase. The ac works well, comes back on after power outage (important because I am not in the city and the grid can be fickle out in the country), and although I don't have my first electric bill, seems like it is not using that much energy. I like that it distributes the cool well as it is in a large room and this very much matters. The install went very well, I am a bit frustrated by the tiny gaps on each side where the expanding slides attach, hesitate to add a sealing tape, but think that I will end up doing so.

Totally disappointing. The reviews were so different, that I hoped I wouldn't have a problem. From the unboxing, this AC was disappointing. The filter and louver weren't taped down like a new AC. It's also not cooling to the point that I have to use 2 fans to cool the straight through dining room & living room. It turns out the louver is broken off on one side and cracked on the other! I wondered if it was used and returned before. Sam's Club customer services seemed helpful, since I purchased the warranty. They explained that a technician would bring a replacement new AC and install. Then it was found that they're no longer in stock! I was told NOT to return it and I haven't yet. But, these are out of stock, so I can't get a replacement. I will be getting my money back and purchasing a more expensive AC from Home Depot or Lowe's. The inverter system really doesn't cool. I've had 6000 and 8000 BTU ACs that provided better cooling output this wone and replace it.

First I mistook one of the pictures for a u-shape window unit. once I realized my mistake and because of the great price I decided to keep this unit. It is a nice unit. it was an easy install. it is louder than a u-shape Midea I have in the bedroom, which it to be expected. still not as loud as some window units I have seen and heard. I like the different controls on this unit such as energy saver, sleep timer, wave setting, remote control. Really it's a nice unit and the price was great. The problem is me. It's not the unit I wanted, but for a mistake it turns out that the outcome could have been worse.

We were very thoughtful in our choice, made sure ewe had the right BTUs for the room size, etc. Unfortunately, once it was installed and turned on, the results are very disappointing. It doesn't cool the room worth a darn. We have to put a fan on with the air conditioner to stay cool.

Very Happy with this unit wish I would have bought it first. I bought 2 others thar had died within moments of installation. It also took days to get my money refunded. So nope we went to Sam's loaded this up. Easy installation and it is quieter than the last one and puts out more cold air than the stronger unit. I holy recommend this.

Works perfectly. I live in a 1400 square foot house, built in 1900, with original windows. 2 of these units is keeping the house cool during 90⁰ Midwest summer days. We'll be using them instead of the large unit outside the house even after the new windows get put in.

Great Brand and price- love the features and remote. This is our 3rd midea- they have proven to work very well and last a long time we are replacing some old window a/c's to avoid whole house cooling when spending majority of our time in one room during the day and another at night. Cuts our electric bill a ton!

We purchased this unit for our garage and so far have been pleased with it. It was easy for 2 people to install and is easy to operate. We had a question and called Midea for explanation and they were spot on immediately. We have other Midea products and the customer support has been great. Keep it up!

Purchased for and shipped to my son in Astoria, NY. He loves it. Loves the WiFi ability to change the temperature when he’s away from the apartment. Says it’s very quiet and does a great job of cooling. Purchased an Alpine Hardware no drill window support on Amazon that works great with it.
