Awesome Flanken Beef Ribs!

Sam's Club has the Best Flanken Beef Ribs Ever! I basically eat a Keto/Carnivore diet and eat Flanken Beef Ribs almost everyday. I absolutely love these! I dry these, season them and put them in my Cosori Dehydrator. I usually depending on how thick they a cut...put them in the Dehydrator overnight. Sometimes leaving them on 165° for 10 or so hours. Just like Beef Jerky! So yummy 😋. I've lost 62 lbs in almost 9 months eating all of Sam's Club delicious meats.l love my Beef Flanken Ribs the most.

Best beef short ribs around!

The Members Mark USDA choice Angus beef short ribs were of excellent quality. The marbling was prominent throughout all of the cut pieces and not a mismatch of marbled and lean pieces. The price per pound was better than any price I could find anywhere. I am satisfied with my purchase and this is my go to when shopping for this cut of meat.

Good for making Korean Galbi, although too thick

These are great for making Korean Galbi. If you're not familiar with it, you are missing out. Lost a star because they are really sliced too thick for Galbi. But at $3 less per pound than my only other option for them in town -- they get the job done. For people rating it low; if you're just going to cook these up using an American-style cooking method and expecting meaty piece, you'll likely be disappointed -- it's not what these are for. Do yourself a favor and learn to make Galbi. ;-)

Amazing Short Ribs

I purchased the individual cut ribs from the meat counter. They price in at just under 10$ per pound. For me to be able to purchase a small amount with the quality that Sam's has for their meat is well worth the little extra I paid. I found an amazing recipe for my Instapot that I had the most tender ribs in about 1 1/2 start to finish. I will be purchasing them again.

Short Ribs are great but...

The other reviews are not false, the top layer are meaty and less fat but once you get to the second layer; it's more fat than meat. The 4 stars are for the top layer of meat. These short ribs are delicious though so I would still recommend buying. Price at Sam's Club is pretty competitive from around me so It's still a good buy.

so tender and juicy

I am very impressed by the quality of the meat. I have been purchased this type of meats from different stores including Korean grocery store. Personally, I thought meat in Korean grocery store is the very one but unfortunately it is so expensive! It's $17.99/lb!! I was a bit hesitant to purchase it because it was thicker that those from other stores, but when I cooked and tasted it, it was the best quality I have ever had before! All my family members agreed with me. For this kind of meat, I will go to Sam's again though it is a bit far from my place. Hope this is helpful.

Overpriced and fatty

We bough thes short ribs that were cut fresh for us and after cooking there was nothing the small bones liquid from the very fatty ribs. The minimal amount of meat was only a 4 ounces out of over 2.5 lbs. of short ribs. We were very disappointed but all of our other fresh meat purchases throughout the years have been excellent. We will just avoid the short ribs.

Still good but a lot smaller and fatter

Used to be the best, big with just the right amount of fat. Recent months they have been much smaller. The old package size fed a family of four about 2-3 meals. This only 2 at the very most. Also meat is really fat. Still good though, just wish they had the old cuts.

Nice thin slices with BONE FRAGMENTS

This would have been at least a Four ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Star rating but all those dang bone fragments. I don't like eggshells in my eggs, I don't like bones in my fish fillets, I don't like bone fragments in my beef and pork, I don't like broken chicken bones... Am I too picky I think not. I even try to wash them out but am I supposed to cook it then clean it with the wire brush and hope for the best why why would I waste all my time it's better just to get the full rib then to get all those dang bone fragments. This is not what I consider added calcium to your meal. Just get the whole piece take the bone out and be on your happy merry way sometimes these shortcuts are just not worth it.
