Better then Korean bbq.

Amazing cooked on the grill over charcoal. Always use a good asian marinade . Perfect balance of meat and fat. I prefer this over any steak.

awesome

I don’t understand people downgrading these cuts because of fat content. LOL it’s short ribs not chicken breast. They are fatty cuts. Great meat when I’m lucky enough to find.

Best for Kalbi

Initially, I thought these were cut too thick for Korean short ribs but over time I've grown to like the thicker cut. They're usually really good marble and quality.

These are flanken ribs, not short ribs

The cut is wrong, any recipe calling for short ribs but using this cut will leave you with dried out meat and thousands of tiny bones shards thanks to the poor blade quality

Sams Club shopping

It’s a little pricey but I love making Korean bq and sams club is the only club that sells in good quantities. I also like the shaved beef for making Philly cheese and just pan cook it and dipping it with ponzu. I wished they would sell a variety thinly cut meats like chicken as well as beef

Good for making Korean Galbi, although too thick

These are great for making Korean Galbi. If you're not familiar with it, you are missing out. Lost a star because they are really sliced too thick for Galbi. But at $3 less per pound than my only other option for them in town -- they get the job done. For people rating it low; if you're just going to cook these up using an American-style cooking method and expecting meaty piece, you'll likely be disappointed -- it's not what these are for. Do yourself a favor and learn to make Galbi. ;-)

Best beef short ribs around!

The Members Mark USDA choice Angus beef short ribs were of excellent quality. The marbling was prominent throughout all of the cut pieces and not a mismatch of marbled and lean pieces. The price per pound was better than any price I could find anywhere. I am satisfied with my purchase and this is my go to when shopping for this cut of meat.

Amazing Short Ribs

I purchased the individual cut ribs from the meat counter. They price in at just under 10$ per pound. For me to be able to purchase a small amount with the quality that Sam's has for their meat is well worth the little extra I paid. I found an amazing recipe for my Instapot that I had the most tender ribs in about 1 1/2 start to finish. I will be purchasing them again.

so tender and juicy

I am very impressed by the quality of the meat. I have been purchased this type of meats from different stores including Korean grocery store. Personally, I thought meat in Korean grocery store is the very one but unfortunately it is so expensive! It's $17.99/lb!! I was a bit hesitant to purchase it because it was thicker that those from other stores, but when I cooked and tasted it, it was the best quality I have ever had before! All my family members agreed with me. For this kind of meat, I will go to Sam's again though it is a bit far from my place. Hope this is helpful.
