[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live off grid on 17 Acres with a multitude of animals. There's dirt and debris everywhere and I'm constantly overworked. This combination of vacuum mop is a godsend. I tried it for the first time yesterday on a super muddy semi outdoor kitchen and it picked up 98% of everything there. I was so pleased and it halved my effort. I gave away all five bottles of cleaning products to someone who loves Bissell cleaning products, because I have dogs and other animals so I have to use things which are actually animal friendly and not toxic to their noses which are right on the floors. It does seem incongruent that while Bissell is pet friendly their toxic chemicals are not.

All opinions are my own after being able to test it against some of the stickiest kid messes that you can imagine. Set up was easy, the manual explains the steps perfectly and it was impossible to do incorrectly when following the guide. I tried first on my area rug for a tough stain from some pink juice. I loved the suction power and the rotating brush on the bottom seemed to clean extra well. I was able to remove the stain after a few passes. I feel that it would have worked even better if I had gotten to the spill as soon as it happened. I will say that it is a little hard to propel across the carpet/rug but I assume this is due to the brush and the suction. This is my only reason for a 4 star review instead of 5. The self cleaning option after finishing was wonderful! This was definitely my favorite feature. I felt as though I wasn't left with leftover grime in the brush. I was impressed enough with the area rug to then tackle my hard floors. Best ever! This is my new favorite way to clean the floors. With two young children, mystery stuck on messes happen. They were no match for this. Just a few passes and even the worst stuck on mystery mess was gone. The steam feature makes dry time super quick! This is a must for any home with small children or pets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CrossWave® HydroSteam™ Plus Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vac is an amazing machine. I love how I can clean my floors and area rugs. It picks up hair and doesn't get tangled around the roller. The floors look great when they are doing. They are dry within seconds. The dirt way err is pulled up into a cup that is easy to empty. When done with the floor place it in the stand and it cleans the roller. When thats done the roller comes out to and you put it on the side to dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this new CrossWave for both vacuuming and steam mopping and am very happy with the results. The suction power is very strong and the steam helps loosen any gunk on the floors for easy removal. My only issue with this item is the cord. I have a very large open-concept home and having to deal with the cord isn't my favorite feature as cordless has become so standard in recent years. However, the power that comes along with the cord in this case is substantial and I'm thrilled with the results. I would purchase again and would recommend to a friend.

I have really enjoyed having this as a busy mom of 2 and 2 dogs. It's pretty rad that I can't just clean the floor and don't have to sweep before I mop. I was surprised with how much gunk and dirt that it picked up. We often times eat around the counter in our kitchen so it can get pretty messy with a toddler eating and preparing meals. The wet/dry vacuum was able to tackle all these messes quickly and efficiently. Although my dogs aren't shedding much they are like velcro to dust and this thing does such a great job picking it all up! I was so impressed with how easily it glides on hardwood floors while cleaning. It also moves from hardwood to my throw rugs in an instant. And you can switch between modes or just keep it on steamwash. All in all I'm very impressed and excited to clean my floors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a working mom of two kids I don't have a ton of time to clean so I was excited to get a chance to try out the Crosswave Hydostream combination vacuum and mop from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I put the mop through its paces both in the kitchen and in my daughter's play area. Pros: The suction and roller were good enough to pull up the play sand and fine glitter around my daughter's play table. Our wood floors have pretty deep grooves that trap these fine particles so the fact that they got picked up by this vacuum mop is impressive. I also liked being able to clean the small indoor/outdoor rug in our entryway with the wet vac. The vacuum pulled up most of the water and the thin rug dried quickly. Since the vacuum isn't battery powered there's no worry about running out of charge before the job is done. Cons: The vacuum is really loud, which would make it tough to use if others are in the house doing work or if a baby was napping. Also the steam function wasn't great at cleaning the tiles and grout around the stove, which get more grimy. I wasn't able to get the mop to unstick some paint or play dough that had gotten onto the wood floors either. I went over the affected areas in hardwood floor and steam modes to no avail. The play dough got soft enough to scrape off with my hands, but the roller wouldn't pick it up. I also tried this mop on a thicker pile area rug, but I wouldn't recommend it as it got really wet and didn't clean well. Finally there is a bit of a learning curve to using the mop. The steam function uses the water/soap solution really fast, so you have to be strategic about using it. Also there's no indicator when the dirty water tank is full, but you will all of a sudden loose suction. You also need to remove the floating filter from the dirty tank first or the filter will fall out making a mess. The instructions for the self cleaning mode are also confusing and it took a couple of tries to figure that out as well, but it does work okay.

I received this product for free from Bissell to test out. I thought by mopping I had gotten the dirt off the floors. I was so wrong. The Wet/Dry Vac is simple to use and through the use of steam actually cleaned the floors instead of just moving dirt around. I now feel better knowing this product gives me a cleaner home.

I never would have thought that I could vacuum and mop at the same time until I tried this product! I was skeptical at first, because my traditional cleaning routine always begins with me vacuuming the floor first to make sure all the dust are eliminated before I mopped. I gave this product a try in my kitchen area where it is normally the dirtiest, I followed the instructions and I am surprisingly impressed with the results. My floor is dust-free and dirt-free at the same time, they look sparkling clean and smells fresh afterwards. I am very happy that this product works just like it is described, it is easy to assemble and dispose of the dirty water, and it is also easy to clean the roller for future use. I would definitely recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for cutting their cleaning time around the house, as for me, I know I can do my weekly cleaning at shorter time now. Awesome!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to unbox the CrossWave HydroSteam. It's a good looking machine and it has the benefit of vacuuming AND steam cleaning your floors at the same time. I am a busy working mom with a cat, and any tool that helps me to maximize my time is important. When the machine is on the LED lights are bright and it cleans nice and close to the base moulding. The CrossWave has a self cleaning cycle that is just a push of a button when you are done. After the self clean, you are supposed to separate the roller, roller cover and canister, and then rinse those components and let them dry for 24 hrs. This part is a little annoying but I understand it's a part of maintaining the machine. Overall, the CrossWave does a pretty good job at vacuuming and mopping on my tile and hardwood floors. I have not used it on any area rugs yet. I am concerned at the amount of steam/water that sits on the floors when in hardwood floor mode. I have to vacuum over the wet area quite a few times to get up all the residual solution. I have older hardwood floors whose seal is compromised in some areas, so any sitting solution or water could be damaging. In steam wash mode, it cleaned the surface of my tile very well, but it did not get into the grout lines. I did notice that in steam wash mode the steamed solution is dispensed onto the scrubber brush which then hits the floor, and I am somewhat suspect as to how well the steam/sanitizing really works on the surfaces. I still believe that I clean my floors more throughly with vacuuming and mopping separately. That said, the CrossWave makes the most of my time and it's multitasking ability is my favorite feature. I haven't had any major sticky spills yet, so I can't comment on the Crosswave's ability to handle spilled honey or stuck on sauces. Overall, I am happy with the CrossWave HydroSteam and would recommend it to others. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me the opportunity to test this machine.
