Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel, I tried the CrossWave HydroSteam. It cleans like a dream, especially sticky, stuck-on messes courtesy of kittens and kids. Lifting stuck-on dirt from my hard-surface flooring was a breeze with the wash and power steaming modes. CrossWave HydroSteam all-in-one vacuums, washes, and steams flooring. I found myself using it multiple times a week as it was quick & convenient to use. The steamer mode helps to sanitize floors around the home was my favorite feature! I found it also helped shorten dry time on vinyl and tile flooring. While ideally the dirty water tank could hold more fluid, the two-tank feature keeps clean water separate from dirty water- thus ensuring the cleanest floors possible. When the self-cleaning solution was used on self-cleaning mode, I was further assured the inside of the machine was also staying clean following each use

At first, I was skeptical about the power of this little vacuum. The svelte footprint, single roller, and modestly sized water tanks pointed to small spill cleanup at best. With just one use, though, it was instantly clear that this little vacuum has what it takes to keep up with our busy household. We have two teenagers, three dogs, and my husband is an auto tech with a love for souping up his own cars. Beyond that, we have an outdated home with tired floors always in need of cleaning. My 13-year-old son and I tried out this vacuum together. Setting up the unit was super simple. We just had to click the handle in place and then fill the clean water tank up. Then, pour the pet cleaner until the level reached the second line and screw the cap on. The clean water tank clicks back into place quite easily and without dripping all over. There are three settings on the vacuum, depending on whether you want to clean rugs, hard floors, or use the steam feature. We started with the hard floor setting, and it worked great. Next, we tried the steam feature. The instructions say to wait 30 seconds for the steam to start. We turned the unit on, switched it to steam, and waited to no avail. You actually have to squeeze the trigger and start cleaning, and then the unit will release steam in 30 seconds. Within just a few minutes, we were surprised that the steam vac could actually get the embedded dirt out of the grooves. Nothing else does that! The self-clean cycle was easy to do as well, although final cleanup of the unit took more time than I liked. We had to take the roller out of the vacuum to dry, empty and rinse out the dirty water tank, remove and clean the filter, and dump out the clean water tank. Overall, I would say that the BISSELL Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vacuum is a great addition to our household and will get used often, especially after the dogs track mud through the house.

Cleaning up wet, sticky, oily, and stuck on messes has become a breeze - The HydroSteam has been used to suck up spilled bowls of mushy cereal, tipped over glasses of orange juice, missed trips to the bathroom, and stinky pet messes all without the use of paper towels, cleaning sprays, or scrubbing. The new SteamWash mode has become a staple cleaning method because it helps get dirt and stains out of rug fabric and hard floor grooves after a short 30 second heating period. My favorite features have been the SteamWash operation and the ease of emptying the collection container. The CrossWave HydroSteam has proven to be a high quality and versatile product capable of tackling a spectrum of messes on any flooring type. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Bissell Crosswave a few times and can say that I am overall really satisfied with the product. I received the Bissell CrossWave® HydroSteam™ Plus Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vac as a free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program in exchange for an honest review. I can honestly say that it does a really fantastic job cleaning my hardwood, tile, and carpet. It also worked on a rug of mine that had gotten dirt spots on it from my Goldendoodle. I will share a picture of what was cleaned up from the floor with the Bissell after I had done a regular cleaning with a standard mop the day before. I was really surprised that there was still as much dirt left on my tile floor. The only thing I was not a fan of was cleaning the machine after using it. They made it as easy as pushing a button to actually clean the machine but, you have to take the brush and filter out to dry which is not hard to do but takes extra time. Having to buy the cleaning solution seems like an added expense as well. Overall I think this is a great product but will be something I use about once a week to deep clean my floors.

I've been on a search for a product that cleans well and is quick enough for daily use, and this is it! We've tried robot vacuums, broom and mop, vacuum and mop, but still the bottoms of our socks were dirty afterwards. This thing is AMAZING. We have to fill and empty it twice to do our upstairs (living room, dining room, foyer, kitchen, and bathroom) but it breezes through even spilled and dried milk under the table like it's nothing. I drove and hour awat and bought it in frustration after mopping 3 times and still not being able to get the floor clean. One time with the crosswave steam and it was spotless. Highly recommend. Also, the EPA safer choice solution is a huge bonus!

Now I actually enjoy cleaning my hard surfaced floors! The Bissell CrossWave Hydrosteam was so easy to use and it saves time because you don't need to vacuum your floors before mopping. When I got to the sticky and stuck-on messes, I needed to go over them a few times, but every mess came up without me having to break a sweat. One of my favorite features was the SteamWash mode. I have two young boys and I used the SteamWash mode in their bathroom to make sure the floors around the toilet were sanitized. One unexpected use for the all-in-one vacuum came one day when it rained really hard and I had puddles on my screened porch. I used the vacuum to suck up the water when I would have had to use towels to soak it up in the past. One thing to mention is I noticed streaks on my floors after I've used the vacuum for several rooms. I'm sure it's because the brush is dirty and I think I could remedy it by buying another brush and replacing half-way through cleaning my house. Overall, I would definitely recommend the CrossWave Hydrosteam vacuum to everyone!

It combines my usual mop,broom and vacuum routine. making cleaning up my home on the daily a lot more efficient. I have hardwood floors and some tiling in the bathrooms usually having to go over them in a ritual of sweeping then mopping I was pleased to have the pleasure of completing my tasks in one go. I love the light which helped me to see in hard to see places. The multi surface brush roll was absolutely a wonder at collecting my goldendoodle's fur and getting up sticky meses left behind by my kids, it was light weight not bulky with a beautiful design But i took the most joy in not having to touch the dirty water to change it so thank you Bissell for such an amazing product

I only have to push a button to make the transition it's great. I picked up more out of my rugs than I ever expected.i also love the steam feature to help sanitize all my floors. This is the best vacuum/cleaner I have ever used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this machine to replace my crosswave x7. I LOVED my crosswave x7. This machine doesn't even compare. Between the streaks that it leaves behind, and the fact that the tiniest bit of cat hair causes the filter to clog, and the machine's suction will stop. I really wouldn't get this if you have pets or hard wood floors.

The Bissell Crosswave is a solid performing wet dry vacuum that acts like a cross between a mop, vacuum, and rug shampoo-er. After using it, I think it is more of a deep cleaning tool than an everyday picker upper, and if you go into it with that expectation you won't be disappointed. It's simple to use and picks up dirt and gunk from floors and rugs that a regular vacuum won't. It also leaves a great smelling aroma! Unlike a regular vacuum, the brush roll is all cloth and acts like a mop. It's not the same as a vacuum brush roll and isn't as good at straight vacuuming. It's a bit cumbersome. This isn't a grab and go dust buster. It takes set up time to fill with cleaning solution and every time you finish you need to clean it out and air dry the parts. In conclusion, it's a great vacuum mop. Just don't expect it to be your everyday do-it-all household cleaner. It's more of a deep clean machine
