An all-in-one vacuum that you can use on hardwood floors, area rugs, and carpet is truly impressive and immediately shocked how much cleaner our floors are. Within a few days of receiving this vacuum, my baby spit up on our carpet. The HydroSteam vacuumed the spitup up using the carpet cleaner solution and saved us trying to wipe it up, spraying with a carpet cleaner, and trying to dab up the mess had we not had the vacuum. We also had some years-old stains on our carpet that the vacuum took care of. My toddler also had a stomach bug and threw up on our hardwood floors. To try and keep the virus from spreading, we used the sanitizing solution after cleaning up the vomit (used paper towels and not the vacuum for this) and felt a lot better about the floors being sanitized. One of the best features is the drying tray because you can store the filter and the brush to easily dry. If you have pets and/or kids, this vacuum is a MUST HAVE in your home!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved using this wet and dry vacuum that I was given to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The three modes conquered crayon on tile, orange juice on hardwood, and the usual sticky messes under our highchairs. I loved the steam mode and how little effort it took to clean up sticky and dried on messes, as well as play dough that had gotten ground into our grout. It was nice to know that not only were the messes gone, but the steam and solution cleaned the floors as well. The machine was easy to use and easy to clean up afterwards I love that it has places on the storage tray to dry its parts after use. Remembering which mode to use for which messes and having to consult the tag attached for instructions and specifications was the only downside, and I think after some time, I will come to rely on it less and less as the vacuum becomes a part of our everyday life. It is a dream and takes the place of several other devices we use to clean. I love that! It's been a dream for this family and all of our spills and messes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried so many wet/dry vacuums and I was so glad to find the CrossWave HydroSteam! It was so easy to assemble that I went from unpacking to cleaning in no time at all. I also loved how light-weight is so I can carry it upstairs and downstairs without much effort. I tried it out for fun as soon as I got it and thought my floors were already pretty clean. They apparently weren't based on how much grime and dog hair the CrossWave picked up! Ewww! I put in the sanitizing wash for good measure and gave the hardwood floors another once over! I don't think I'll ever feel they're clean enough until they're CrossWave clean now. There was hardly any gross water after the sanitizing wash, which gives me confidence in the ability to get it clean the first time. And I threw out my old wet-dry right away because it obviously wasn't doing the job. With three kids and 2 dogs I was able to put the rug cleaner to the test pretty quickly with a dog pee spot and was so glad I could just grab the vacuum, put in the liquid setting for a small job and clean up the mess. So easy and quick for this super busy mom. I also love how easy it is to disassemble and store. The drying rack is a great feature and tucks away nicely in my laundry room. All the parts washed out quick and I felt like I wasn't at risk for having dog hair clogging up the vacuum. I've also had a problem in the past with carpet cleaning machines putting out too much water and making the rug curl so I was nervous to try it on the area rugs, but this didn't happen. It was perfect. The steam setting was great for my bathrooms! I tried that out soon after and could visibly see the steam, but it didn't feel like it was saturating everything. I love that I can just run the vacuum back over the space without the solution release to dry the floors. With small kids having a mostly dried floor is essential. Nobody actually stays off them! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most of my floors are hardwood and require a lot of sweeping and mopping. As you can imagine it can take a lot of time. When I first got the vacuum, there was some learning curve since it's a little different from your regular vacuum. The first big difference is that it's both vacuum and mop. When you start using the mop/steam option you have to start from the back of the room and move to the front since the floor with be slightly wet. It is time saving machine for sure. It does not use a lot of water, so your floor will dry pretty quickly. There is three different options. Regular hard floor, steaming (hot temperature) and rugs. You can use it as a plain vacuum and it picks up dirt very well. Since the roll is soft it does not spit out garbage from the back like a regular vacuum would do on hard floor. It works awesome for spills and sticky messes. It literally just stuck everything in and uses fresh water with cleaning solution to wash your floor after without having to stop and refil or change something. It's all in one. If it's something that had been stuck on for a while, it does take a few rolls over to get it off the floor, but eventually it cleans pretty well. I've been using my vacuum every single day and I would say it has been life changing. Before, I dreaded to wash my floors. Now, I do it every single day and I am very pleased with the result. My favorite feature is the steaming mode. It uses hot steam to sanitize the floor. I have a toddler who crawls all over the house, so it's a must at my house. I have a few rugs and use the vacuum to freshen them up a bit. It will take the top layer of dirt off and wash it to remove any spots. Old spots need to be pre treated first. The clean out mode is awesome. Instead of washing out the roll, just put the vacuum on the base (won't work without the base) and press the clean out button. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate enough to receive the Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam for free in exchange for my honest review. This wet/dry vacuum makes cleaning all of my hard floors and area rugs a breeze! The head is small enough to fit into the tighter spaces between the cabinets and toilet, allowing me to clean those hard to reach areas thoroughly. I love having the option to steam clean my floors as well, which is a feature I have not seen on a wet/dry vac before. I have children and indoor dogs and I know that the steam and the special sanitizing cleaner is cleaning my floors better than they ever have been. The floors dried quickly after cleaning and there were no streaks or marks left on any of our hard surfaces (tile, linoleum, and hardwoods). The self cleaning system is amazing and will allow my machine to provide a good, deep clean every time. The only con I have to state is that it can be a little tricky to get the vacuum to sit correctly on the black plastic holder, and requires a little jostling to get it to settle. Overall a great multipurpose hard floor cleaner that I would choose time and time again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CrossWave® HydroSteam™ Plus Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vac is an amazing machine. I love how I can clean my floors and area rugs. It picks up hair and doesn't get tangled around the roller. The floors look great when they are doing. They are dry within seconds. The dirt way err is pulled up into a cup that is easy to empty. When done with the floor place it in the stand and it cleans the roller. When thats done the roller comes out to and you put it on the side to dry.

I deep clean my vinyl floor one to two times a week, and prior to this vacuum it included using a regular vacuum for dirt followed by mopping with a steam mop. With the Hydrosteam vacuum I've cut my cleaning and prep time by 15 minutes or so. We have a mini-Australian shepherd, who sheds a lot! This vacuum does a great job removing all the black fur off our floors, even when it is not visible to the naked eye. However, what I love the most is the ability to see the dirt removed from our floor after using the SteamWash feature! I loved it so much I had to take a picture to show my husband! After 3 or 5 days of not using the SteamWash the floor gets sticky from messes and from everyday foot traffic. I can tell the difference when I walk on our floor after using the SteamWash feature; it feels crisp and clean. There are few things I did not enjoy when using this vacuum; it is hard to remove left over water residue if you release too much liquid. I also dislike that I am unable to vacuum my couch or small crevasses without an upholstery attachment. Thank you to the stellar panel testing panel for the vacuum!

The kitchen floors are not sealed correctly so they hold onto a lot of dirty and grime. This vacuum gets up all the dirt.
