[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As first / initial time using this product (and compared to sweeping / mopping) the same areas, I'd have to say that I'm fairly impressed. I believe that I would delay or maybe avoid the prior for the time and hassle involved in all aspects of the process, using this machine made everything a lot more timely and efficient. Where the cord is 25' some may say it is short, I think it's about average or fair - not to have too / long or too short. I asked a friend about his (same or similar model?) and said he didn't like that it left streaks - I really don't care for being able to get the job done, and for 1/3rd to 1/4 of the time and hassle. Internal cleaning feature seems good / nice touch. I'd like to see how long it lasts and how it does over time. For now it's a Thumbs up & higher rating for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell Crosswave HydroSteam Vac free in exchange for a review and my personal opinion of the product. I used the hard wood solution on my living room and kitchen area. Both areas were visibly much cleaner and the solution has a nice smell. I had to go back over one small are that streaked but I think that was probably more my fault than the machines since it was my first time using it and I'm still learning all the ins and outs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed luxury vinyl tile throughout our entire house a few years ago and since then I have bought and tried multiple things to clean the floors but have never been happy with any of them. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 3 kids so needless to say there is a lot of dirt and messes that need cleaned up frequently! I saw the Crosswave Hydrosteam online and after doing quite a bit of researching and reading reviews I decided to go ahead get it. I haven't had it for that long so I can't speak to longevity but here is what I would say are the pros and cons: Pros: 1. I love that you can vacuum and mop at the same time. Our floors need cleaned frequently so this saves me a lot of time because I can do it all at once! 2. The fact that it sucks up the dirty water is great. Not only does it make the floor look and feel much cleaner than using a spray mop, it also helps the floor dry really fast. It's essentially the same concept as a carpet scrubber but for all types of floors. 3. My floors are so much shinier than they were when I used other products. In the past I always felt like there was still a hazy film on the floors after I cleaned them that you could see after they dried. With the Crosswave Hydrosteam there is no haziness. I actually haven't seen my floors this shiny since they were installed! Cons: 1. I got it on sale however one downside I would say is that it is fairly pricey. That being said, after using it I do feel like it's worth the spend. 2. Cleaning it afterwards is a bit of a task because you have to take it apart, wipe and rinse everything, and then run the clean cycle on it. It took me a while the first time but I think the more often I use it the less time clean up will take. 3. I wish the dirty water container held more. I have to empty it several times in order to finish my living room, dining room, kitchen & hallway. I don't feel like this should prevent someone from buying the product, it would just be something that would be nice for future models

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About 4 years ago, I bought a Hoover floor cleaner. It was so poor, I had to have it replaced 3 times. I finally determined it was not worth using. Felt like I was spreading dirty water so, I invested in the Cross Wave Hydro Steam. OMG, what a difference. I clean in half the time, and the HydroSteam is amazing

It pulled more pet hair out of my carpets then I knew was there. I love the way it breaks down for easy cleaning and storage! The cleaner and sanitizer smells amazing. This vacuum is a one stop shop! No need to sweep first just go! 10/10 think everyone needs one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our home consists of multiple different flooring types including tile, carpet, area rugs, wood and laminate. And in our home we have two young children and a golden retriever so the floors get a constant array of messes. Floors, I'll admit, are my pet peeve and with my family feel like I'm constantly cleaning. I actually use to have a floor steamer but because our main living area was replaced with laminate I couldn't use it on the floors anymore. So it steered me away from buying any floor cleaning machines. But the great thing about this machine is you can choose the setting or floor type to have steam or no steam by the ease of a button by the handle. What I love the most is that as I'm vacuuming and washing the laminate I can easily clean my area rug (especially the areas that the dog lays the most) and with a push of a button I can change the setting from floor to carpet. And then easily switch again to steam option on my tiles. Bonus is the machine has a self cleaning option as well!! Literally takes the hassle out of cleaning your house. I'm able to take the lid of the brush to let the item air to prevent any musky smells. I'm actually excited to use the machine because I can get the floors cleaning in half the time, no vacuuming before and then mop. The floors are clean and the true test is the kids socks are still white at the end of the day! The power cord is long. I love the cleaning solutions, it leaves no streaks marks on either the laminate and tile. The smell is great, fresh smelling but no overwhelming. The tanks are easy to clean with a strainer that catcher the hair and bigger items. The light on the front is great to see all the debris on the floor. Packaging of the product ensure the machine came in mint condition, the only issue was a solution bottle had a cracked lid.

All opinions are my own after being able to test it against some of the stickiest kid messes that you can imagine. Set up was easy, the manual explains the steps perfectly and it was impossible to do incorrectly when following the guide. I tried first on my area rug for a tough stain from some pink juice. I loved the suction power and the rotating brush on the bottom seemed to clean extra well. I was able to remove the stain after a few passes. I feel that it would have worked even better if I had gotten to the spill as soon as it happened. I will say that it is a little hard to propel across the carpet/rug but I assume this is due to the brush and the suction. This is my only reason for a 4 star review instead of 5. The self cleaning option after finishing was wonderful! This was definitely my favorite feature. I felt as though I wasn't left with leftover grime in the brush. I was impressed enough with the area rug to then tackle my hard floors. Best ever! This is my new favorite way to clean the floors. With two young children, mystery stuck on messes happen. They were no match for this. Just a few passes and even the worst stuck on mystery mess was gone. The steam feature makes dry time super quick! This is a must for any home with small children or pets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live off grid on 17 Acres with a multitude of animals. There's dirt and debris everywhere and I'm constantly overworked. This combination of vacuum mop is a godsend. I tried it for the first time yesterday on a super muddy semi outdoor kitchen and it picked up 98% of everything there. I was so pleased and it halved my effort. I gave away all five bottles of cleaning products to someone who loves Bissell cleaning products, because I have dogs and other animals so I have to use things which are actually animal friendly and not toxic to their noses which are right on the floors. It does seem incongruent that while Bissell is pet friendly their toxic chemicals are not.

As a busy mom in a busy household, anything that saves a little time can make a big difference in our day. Not only does this vacuum safe me a ton of time because I can clean sticky messes at the same time I am vacuuming, it also does a great job and dealing with both types of messes. The SteamWash setting works so well and get messes unbelievably clean. One of the best things about this vacuum is how incredibly easy it is to clean! Can't recommend this machine enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CrossWave® HydroSteam™ Plus Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vac is an amazing machine. I love how I can clean my floors and area rugs. It picks up hair and doesn't get tangled around the roller. The floors look great when they are doing. They are dry within seconds. The dirt way err is pulled up into a cup that is easy to empty. When done with the floor place it in the stand and it cleans the roller. When thats done the roller comes out to and you put it on the side to dry.
