[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our house is mostly hardwood with area rugs, and for the wood this was an excellent replacement for regular moping. I found the vacuum got up more dirt, and was very easy to use after a first try. The cleaning stand was useful once I figured out how it worked and also holds in the vacuum for storage. I really appreciated the extra filter included and like that the dirty and clean water are totally separate; I have moping water because it does not. I would love if the required cleaning liquid came in a concentrated form so you could mix your own rather buying new bottles. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The claim that it is a wet/dry vac is false. You can't vacuum a room without using the "wet" setting. Trying to dry vac just pushes the dirt and pet hair around. We went with this machine because we needed something powerful to clean up hair from three dogs. We didn't want to have to shampoo every time we needed to vacuum. As a shampooer, it works fine. And we went with Bissell because of their charity work with animals. From now on, we will just give to a charity and buy from a different company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this vacuum / steamer. It's way more compact than a normal steamer. It's nice because we can use it as a vacuum, and enable the steam mode as needed. We wouldn't be able to do this normally, as we wouldn't want to go get out a steamer for small spots. Now we can just steam for a minute and go back to vacuuming and it's super convenient. The design itself is very modern and we really liked the more metallic red neck. In terms of performance it vacuums with ease, and we steam anything that's stuck on. It works great on all surfaces. The only issue was the cord - it needs to be threaded threw the handle when you put it together, but then it functions normally. Overall a great product which I received from the stellar testing panel.

One large tank cleaned my living room, dining room, kitchen and small bathroom. It is a bit heavy compared to others I have used but was easy to maneuver. It was louder than I expected but did a great job cleaning my floors. The cleaning cycle was easy to use and the machine was easy to clean up once all done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Crosswave Hydrosteam is a terrific machine. I found it easy to use, easy to clean and it handled both hardwood flooring and rugs very well. We had hard wood floors that had only been cleaned by a mop for a couple of years and the amount of built up grime that came off with the steam mode was impressive. It suctions up the excess water efficiently and leaves your floor looking clean and shiny. You basically fill the tank turn it on and off you go. It cleans up quickly when you are done also. It would be nice if they had an attachment so you could easily do stairs and the power cord could be longer but those are my only complaints. If you have hard wood or stone floors this is a very handy machine to have around. It had a very short learning curve and the directions for use were clear and concise. It is also much quieter than I anticipated. The Crosswave will take a lot of the elbow grease out of cleaning your floors. I have an older cordless Crosswave (I think it's the first generation of cordless) and I was so disappointed in it. It did a terrible job, was difficult to clean, just all around not good. But this one is WORLDS different. Everything that was wrong with my old one is fixed with this model. (This one is not cordless, however.) I absolutely love the steam feature. It had my rugs AND my tile floors absolutely sparkling. I tried to take before and after photos of a stain on my rug, but the camera just wasn't picking it up. You'll have to trust me when I say that the stain was GONE with very little effort. It's easy to use and easy to clean. I have 4 cats, a dog, and a 2 year old so our floors need a lot of cleaning. This is the perfect tool for the job.

I was grossed out and satisfied all at the same time with the dirty tank compartment. The strainer/hair catcher makes it super easy to clean out the compartment. And the Bissell solution with febreeze smells amazing. #sweepstakes

I've been on a search for a product that cleans well and is quick enough for daily use, and this is it! We've tried robot vacuums, broom and mop, vacuum and mop, but still the bottoms of our socks were dirty afterwards. This thing is AMAZING. We have to fill and empty it twice to do our upstairs (living room, dining room, foyer, kitchen, and bathroom) but it breezes through even spilled and dried milk under the table like it's nothing. I drove and hour awat and bought it in frustration after mopping 3 times and still not being able to get the floor clean. One time with the crosswave steam and it was spotless. Highly recommend. Also, the EPA safer choice solution is a huge bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembling the Hydrosteam was so quick and easy, it took only a few minutes before it was ready to use! I used the original crosswave in the past, but this is such an incredible upgrade. I love that I can use it wet or dry, the vacuum suction is extremely powerful! The self cleaning is really helpful as well. It hugs the wall pretty closely. The added steam feature is perfect for my tile floors. I have uneven slate tile with a lot of grooves and the Hydrosteam outperforms other vacuum mops I've used. The cons, it is pretty heavy and loud. Also I wish the brush had harder bristles to really scrub the floor more and it does use a lot of bissell solution. I received the HydroSteam as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
