I love that this vacuum allows me to clean all my messes at once! As a pet owner and parent to small children, time and energy are at a low and this makes everything easier and more efficient. I found the setup and use quite easy. Once I referenced what each picture meant, I was able to switch from one mode to another with a push of a button. I used the steam wash mode on my kitchen floors and floors near my cat box. It allowed me to deeper clean the areas but in a quick way. I also loved the ability to wash my area rugs. It did a great job with minimal effort. I do wish the cord was retractable and there was a learning curve for me for the cleaning of the vacuum- it was confusing to figure out after the first use. I would also love if they included a bag or somewhere to store the cleaning formulas. Otherwise, the hydrosteam is a must if you are low on time and have different types of messes. It makes life easier and...cleaner!!

The Bissell Crosswave is a solid performing wet dry vacuum that acts like a cross between a mop, vacuum, and rug shampoo-er. After using it, I think it is more of a deep cleaning tool than an everyday picker upper, and if you go into it with that expectation you won't be disappointed. It's simple to use and picks up dirt and gunk from floors and rugs that a regular vacuum won't. It also leaves a great smelling aroma! Unlike a regular vacuum, the brush roll is all cloth and acts like a mop. It's not the same as a vacuum brush roll and isn't as good at straight vacuuming. It's a bit cumbersome. This isn't a grab and go dust buster. It takes set up time to fill with cleaning solution and every time you finish you need to clean it out and air dry the parts. In conclusion, it's a great vacuum mop. Just don't expect it to be your everyday do-it-all household cleaner. It's more of a deep clean machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this wet and dry vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I am so lucky that I did! I have a 2400+ sf home with wall-to-wall tile flooring. Additionally, I have my own little zoo with 3 kids, 3 dogs and 7 cats. Needless to say, cleaning the floors is an everyday - sometimes multiple times a day - task! The CrossWave was very easy to assemble and learn to use. I predominantly used the SteamWash mode because of our tile floors. I quickly swept the floors prior to use but didn't spend any extra time spot-cleaning or scrubbing any of the particularly dirty areas. The CrossWave did a wonderful job cleaning not only the tile but also the grout lines. I did have to use a plastic scraper to get off a few inconveniently placed stickers, but everything else came out beautifully. I tested the CrossWave on muddy footprints/pawprints, spilled beverages, pet accidents and even dried blood from when my son fell and accidentally cut himself. You may need to go over a spot a couple of times for really difficult spots to come clean, but it is so much easier than the mop I was using before. I especially love the self-cleaning mode for when I'm done with the floors. I don't have to put much extra effort into cleaning the CrossWave in order to feel confident that it's clean and ready for the next cleaning emergency. The power cord is also super long so you don't have to keep changing outlets when you move from one area to the next. There were only a couple of downsides that I noticed with the CrossWave. First, the water reservoirs are on the smaller side, which makes it lightweight and easy to use but does require frequent refilling/dumping. Secondly, I also was unable to get the light to turn off when not in use unless I unplug the machine. Overall, I love this machine. If it can handle my crazy family so easily, it is a must-have for less messy households!

I have two todders and two dogs in my house, and my old steam mop broke. I decided to splurge on this and OMG so glad I did. Our floor feels so clean, and I'm not going back. You do have to clean it after every use, but that's honestly not a big deal as they made it so easy to take apart which isn't always the case with my other bissell products, 10/10!

I couldn't believe after just recently cleaning my floors the old fashion way, they were still dirty. Using this all in one vacuum made me realize I needed to clean my floors more often and this CrossWave HydroSteam was going to really clean my floors with us always keeping our shoes on in the house to the dog running around with muddy/wet paws to my baby throwing food onto the floor. The vacuum did a great job tackling sticky messes like pasta sauce and ribs on the ground from the baby. The SteamWash mode worked fantastic cleaning up the mess. It was a click of a button to select the SteamWash. You could see the steam when cleaning and can see perfectly as the CrossWave HydroSteam has a light in front which helps see mess you are cleaning up. Our favorite feature is the all in one vacuum which helps us save time since we are always on the go. It allowed us to vacuum, wash and steam all at once verde having to do everything separately. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this wet and dry vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I had never used a wet and dry vacuum so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was pretty easy to put together straight out of the box, but I did have to read the directions a few times to understand how it was supposed to be used and what all of the different settings were for. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs so there is a lot of pet hair and dirt on our tile floors. The SteamWash mode was the only mode that actually got the slobber marks off the floor and I was pretty impressed with how clean my floors were once they dried. It was also so much quicker and easier on my back to be able to vacuum and "mop" at the same time. The first use had a bit of a learning curve as the waste water bin filled up quicker than I thought and the self clean feature afterwards was a bit tricky to figure out, but now that I have used it a few times it is a lot easier to use. Would highly recommend for those wanting clean floors, but don't want to spend hours of your day vacuuming and then mopping!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to be receiving this from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a toddler, two dogs, and two cats. My floors need to be cleaned constantly. I have all hardwood floors. This worked well for cleaning up small puppy messes, but when trying to clean the entire floor, it fell short. I found that the roller brush didn't scrub much, so I had to pass over a mess that was stuck on a bit several times before it would come up. I think the process of cleaning the machine is simple and easy. I had new windows installed, leaving a fine, white dust everywhere. When I attempted to clean them, it was barely removed. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a house with multiple German Shepherds, our first crosswave pet became a must have for cleaning. From the accidental puppy "tinkles", to the mud and dirt tracked in on a rainy day, the ease of cleaning with these machines is phenomenal. That machine was purchased 2 years ago and still used almost daily for cleaning. About 6 months later, we were shopping at Ollie's and they had refurbished ones at a decent price, so we opted to purchase a 2nd. (A regular crosswave(not 'pet' model). So now we had one upstairs for cleaning and one on the main floor for cleaning. After a year and a half that refurbished one stopped dispensing solution, so rather than troubleshoot and trying to figure out why (at least for now). I decided to purchase another. This time, the crosswave hydro steam. The steam feature is really nice for getting the dried on paw prints up without spending 6 hours (exaggerating) going over the same spot. Don't get me wrong, even our standard one the died was able to do this but usually had to make 2-3 passes, the steam just makes it that much quicker. The self clean mode is a nice new feature and should another crosswave decide to depart to that vacuum place in the sky, I will buy another. All my machines are used very hard daily and almost continuously. And haven't given me a reason not to love them. I can admit I did buy another brand at one point (won't mention names, but there is a song about a "baby" one) and I can say it in no-way is even a close comparison to the Bissel.

As someone who has small children and pets, I typically dread cleaning. This product was so easy to use! Typically I have to get on hands and knees to clean sticky messes off the floor, but that was not the case with the CrossWave. I love that it not only steams but vacuums as well. Clean up was easy and I truly saw a difference in my hardwood floors. Now I look forward to cleaning!

Only gave it 4 stars because I think the directions should have said to go SLOWER but I figured it out half way through the house. And the house smells amazing.
