Easy access for different cleaning modes with indicator lights, super easy self-clean function, and that little strainer cup in the recovery tank - great idea! I am very glad I made the purchase!

The first one had to be replaced 2x's for defective parts, now the crosswave XL is doing the same thing. Again was replaced at a dealer and the problem still exists. Constant warning, corrected and still won't operate. Ive probably used both 3 times each.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissel Crosswave Hydrosteam wet and dry vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I'm a mom of 2 toddlers and 5 cats, living in an all-tile house. Cleaning the floors is a time consuming constant task between sweeping or dry vacuuming first and then wet mopping. Stuck on messes are always around with the little kids. I was absolutely thrilled to receive this product, which incorporates both dry and wet vacuuming all in one piece of technology- saving me time in being able to tackle every kind of mess in one fell swoop. I truly love the Crosswave Hydrosteam as it is quite efficient. I love that it has LED lights to help see the debris and pet hair as you go. I think the only downside is that it is loud just like a regular vacuum, however, it is so convenient to be able to dry vacuum and just push a button as you're going to create steam and tackle a spill of any kind. I found that the reservoir for the cleaning solution is large enough to get through all the main living areas without having to refill, even if you use the steam function the majority of the time. Using the steam function on spills is so easy - just push the steam button as you go over with the brush and it lifts everything in a few swipes. It also does not leave the floor too wet, it dries off pretty quickly, and no streaks left behind. I love how easy it is to clean the dirty water tank - easy to pop it out, rinse it out, and put it back together in no time. The self clean function has to be my favorite part. After steam mopping a lot of stuck on messes, it's fantastic to be able to set it on its base and have it clean the brush immediately so it's ready for the next use right away without having to change it or take it out. The self-clean cycle just needs clean water and it's very quick. The vacuum head is very flexible to help going around corners and maneuvering easily. I'm grateful to have received this vacuum. It is a fantastic multifunctional product!

With dogs constantly shedding hair and occasionally having accidents, it's essential to have a reliable cleaning tool. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Bissell Crosswave a few times and can say that I am overall really satisfied with the product. I received the Bissell CrossWave® HydroSteam™ Plus Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vac as a free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program in exchange for an honest review. I can honestly say that it does a really fantastic job cleaning my hardwood, tile, and carpet. It also worked on a rug of mine that had gotten dirt spots on it from my Goldendoodle. I will share a picture of what was cleaned up from the floor with the Bissell after I had done a regular cleaning with a standard mop the day before. I was really surprised that there was still as much dirt left on my tile floor. The only thing I was not a fan of was cleaning the machine after using it. They made it as easy as pushing a button to actually clean the machine but, you have to take the brush and filter out to dry which is not hard to do but takes extra time. Having to buy the cleaning solution seems like an added expense as well. Overall I think this is a great product but will be something I use about once a week to deep clean my floors.

I had to leave soaking for 5 to 10 minutes & came back & vacuumed up easily. I would definitely recommend to family & friends. Already told my sister & daughter-in-law. Lol

I received this wet and dry vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I must admit that I was skeptical because of a previous machine (different brand). I ended up being pleasantly surprised. The Crosswave has been great for small kitchen mishaps including those that are dried on. It may take multiple passes, but no more hand scrubbing! I was also able to get through all of the wood floors (1500 sq ft) on one large tank! Hydro Steam has been great for my bathrooms. The machines size also makes it fit well in smaller spaces. My favorite feature is how easy it is to clean. I find myself doing small jobs every day or so because of how easy it is to use. It's also very handy to be able to clean area rugs with the same machine. The only things that I would change are the weight and the light that stays on when it's plugged in but shut off. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone that wants to clean more often and is looking for something easy to use.

Between endless tossed snacks, milk, and shedding dog hair, I spend every day having to vacuum and then mop up all the mess. I was very excited to receive this all-in-one vacuum from Stellar Product Testing Panel to test! Ever since I started using it, my cleaning routine time has been cut in half, and only one device needed. The vacuum covers every surface that we have in the house - our low-pile rug, bedroom area rug, hardwood floors in the kitchen and dining room, and even bathroom tiles. Every evening after (yet another) messy meal, I bring out the CrossWave Hydrosteam to clean up the sticky food mess below the dining table, vacuum the rug, and call it a day. It now takes me 5 minutes instead of 20 minutes to clean the floor! Filling up the water tank was straightforward with markings on the tank itself, and I loved that the box came with several different samples of cleaning solution. The vacuum is easy to use, and straightforward to switch between the 3 modes of area rug, steam wash, and hard floor. The SteamWash worked great on our area rug, especially after our dog had an accident on it! It took several rounds of SteamWash and a bit of manual scrubbing to get it out, but I credit the CrossWave for being able to steam wash it and getting the smell out! The only downsides to the vacuum are that it is very heavy and difficult to lug between floors, and impossible to use on stairs. It would be nice to have a handheld attachment to get underneath sofas or to reach corners and smaller spaces - even if it wouldn't have the SteamWash function. Cleaning the tank is a bit of a hassle but the self-clean mode helps make it easier. My favorite feature is undoubtedly the steam wash wet-and-dry mode and ease of switching between both, and I can see this vacuum being a regular feature for some time to come!
