I have two dogs and kids and it helped clean up vomit stains on my rug and sticky food messes under my table. It cut out a step of having to get my steam cleaner out for the really messy spills. I wish I could see the water spraying to get a sense of how much I'm using but it moves easily and has a long cord. And the cleaning mode is impressive and I want to my vacuum to stay clean and maintain it long term I found the instructions a little unclear. It didn't seem to use a lot of the water when in cleaning mode even though it said to fill the clean tank. I received this product as a member of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wet dry vac model is a huge improvement over the original (green) model. The steam mode work great on my old dried on messes. You just have to leave the vac over the mess and go over it slowly. I love the new lint trap. It keeps the hair from bogging down the vac. The bigger dirty tank is great I dont have to dump it as often. One thing to note if you are in steam mode you will go through your solution faster. Id show before and after pics but im ashamed of my dogs bad manners. Also if you buy either model invest in the vac cleaner so you keep your vacs smelling and working good. Im buying a second one for upstairs and my old ones going in the pool room.

It works so great and the steam option is amazing on hard stains. Super easy to use, you just click the button until it gets to the option you want to use and the lit up picture is easy to see which option is selected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it for the first time and I wasn't that impressed but did do a nice job on the Ceramic floor and a semi job on the hardwood floor in the kitchen. The power of the vacuum was good, no steam. The machine did accumulate dirt in between the top of the filter and the cap. I really loved the old models but again they leaked, streams of water when preforming the mop part, and i had 3 machines before this one and i thought maybe improvements were done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried so many wet/dry vacuums and I was so glad to find the CrossWave HydroSteam! It was so easy to assemble that I went from unpacking to cleaning in no time at all. I also loved how light-weight is so I can carry it upstairs and downstairs without much effort. I tried it out for fun as soon as I got it and thought my floors were already pretty clean. They apparently weren't based on how much grime and dog hair the CrossWave picked up! Ewww! I put in the sanitizing wash for good measure and gave the hardwood floors another once over! I don't think I'll ever feel they're clean enough until they're CrossWave clean now. There was hardly any gross water after the sanitizing wash, which gives me confidence in the ability to get it clean the first time. And I threw out my old wet-dry right away because it obviously wasn't doing the job. With three kids and 2 dogs I was able to put the rug cleaner to the test pretty quickly with a dog pee spot and was so glad I could just grab the vacuum, put in the liquid setting for a small job and clean up the mess. So easy and quick for this super busy mom. I also love how easy it is to disassemble and store. The drying rack is a great feature and tucks away nicely in my laundry room. All the parts washed out quick and I felt like I wasn't at risk for having dog hair clogging up the vacuum. I've also had a problem in the past with carpet cleaning machines putting out too much water and making the rug curl so I was nervous to try it on the area rugs, but this didn't happen. It was perfect. The steam setting was great for my bathrooms! I tried that out soon after and could visibly see the steam, but it didn't feel like it was saturating everything. I love that I can just run the vacuum back over the space without the solution release to dry the floors. With small kids having a mostly dried floor is essential. Nobody actually stays off them! We have a 5000 sq ft home with tile, hardwood, and vinyl plank flooring PLUS we rescue dogs and have 8 fur-babies of all sizes. When the steam edition came out my husband brought one home and it is BY FAR the most perfect solution for us. It feels heavier and more substantial than the other versions, and the self-clean function is magic! The one thing I used to struggle with was keeping the internal parts clean so it would not emit a smell when I used it, but the steam version with the self cleaning function takes care of that now. I have recommended it to everyone I know. Hey Bissell - I will be happy to try out anything you need to test. We love your products!

This vacuum cleaner is definitely the best multipurpose product I have for my floors! It does a phenomenal job steam cleaning tough spots and it cleans my rugs with ease! I'm sold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got it and it was super easy to setup and use. I hate sweeping then mopping. It never fails as soon as I'm done I see all the pet hair left behind. I have a small 450 sqft apt. Lots of dust and lots of dog hair. Not a lot of major spills. However, it got the tacky grease spill infront of my stove up on the first pass. Didn't need to soak and rinse. I was done with all my floors in 2 passes. Took me 25 minutes to get all my floor area (moved the furniture to get the harder to reach areas). No drying time. Didn't make my dog crazy cause of the noise....BONUS!!

I have a weekly cleaning service who comes and mops and sweeps but this machine really showed me that my floors are still pretty dirty! It's easy to use and pretty versatile for different types of floors. I love how you can clean so much with it! It easily got kids messes like sticky juice spills and caked on play doh off the floor. I wish it were a little quieter but overall I think this is a great product and highly recommend it!

We bought a house on the 31st of May and we've been doing nonstop renovations.. sheet rock, saw dust, dirt, and now my dogs in and out as we finish up the last bit while we're living here and all I can say is WOW. This floor is repulsive and the picture is after one pass with it on steam and wash. The visible difference is unbelievable! I had the original CrossWave for the last year and it did pretty good- it was definitely getting tired and I had to wash my floor after using it, but this one right now... unmatched! If you're thinking about buying it.. do it!
