[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In January, I slipped and fell in a patch of mud outside my home. Breaking my ankle in three places and dislocating it as well, left me in a wheelchair. I am without the use of my right leg, as during the healing it is non-weight bearing. That said, I had to get up and do something in the house as I was having some issues with sitting all day, doing nothing. I could hear the Bissell Crosswave calling my name. My poor Crosswave and I had not bonded for a couple of months and it being so lightweight and easy to maneuver, I thought, "Why not today?" I set it up, plugged it in, and headed into my living room, where most of my Siberian husky's hair drops. I grabbed the broom and scooped up most of the hair he leaves behind, simply because I don't want to overwork the Crosswave. There are piles of hair from my dog just existing. After sweeping a bit, put the Bissell Crosswave to the test. Much to my surprise, it was so light I could use it from my wheelchair! This excited me to no end. My poor floors needed a good vacuum and mopping to get them back in order. I was so happy to be able to accomplish this task even while in my current predicament. All I can say is, "Thank you, Bissell, for the amazing Crosswave Hydrosteam Plus!" What a God send this machine is. I can even clean it out easily, fill the tank with the solution to clean it all out and press the self cleaning mode button, all from the safety of my wheelchair. I not only will (and have) told many others about this machine, but I have advocated the product outside of my friend circle, and have done so in my blog. I have written a couple of posts about the ease of use and the pure joy of using this product. Please, Bissell, continue to produce this item and do your magic by upgrading it, although I'm not quite sure how you can make it better. Thank you, again. Without this, I could not clean my floors for several more months before I heal enough to walk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About 4 years ago, I bought a Hoover floor cleaner. It was so poor, I had to have it replaced 3 times. I finally determined it was not worth using. Felt like I was spreading dirty water so, I invested in the Cross Wave Hydro Steam. OMG, what a difference. I clean in half the time, and the HydroSteam is amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the cordless x7 pet pro and it stopped working so this was its replacement. Even though the x7 quit on me I still prefer it and wish BISSELL hadn't discontinued it. Pros: - I think the self cleaning mode on this one is better than the x7. - It doesn't leave near as much water behind. - I REALLY like the steam wash mode. - it gets closer to walls than the x7. Cons: - it's heavier. I'm 9mo pregnant and it's really hard on my back. I can't imagine it being easy for elderly/impaired people to push around. - I miss the turbo mode that my x7 had. - it doesn't stop spinning and tell you when the tank is full like the x7, it just spits dirty water back out. This is the biggest con. - The hair trap isn't secured in the tank so if you're dumping it in the toilet, take it out or it goes in the toilet too. Neutral: -it's corded. I don't mind it. The freedom of being cordless is nice, but so is not relying on a battery. Overall: I still like it. It beats a mop and broom and I'm thankful that BISSELL gave me a replacement because not many companies would, the process was hassle free and fast. I would recommend it to a friend, but if the x7 pet pro was still available I would recommend it first.

Bought this one for the steam, which I thought would be perfect for some sticky messes that my older Crosswave hasn't been able to get up. I had to buy 2 of these because the first one didn't even steam. Second one didn't steam either and I ended up returning that one as well. Highly disappointed.

I bought this on September 2024 and had to get it replaced 4 times. The steam failed, the water squirting failed, the roller also failed because it stop spinning and it leaves water streaks This is very disappointing and frustrating to have bought this product and not work like it supposed to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in my 50s with one teen still at home as well as a husband, pets and 8 grandkids. I received this wet and dry vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I must admit that I was skeptical because of a previous machine (different brand). I ended up being pleasantly surprised. The Crosswave has been great for small kitchen mishaps including those that are dried on. It may take multiple passes, but no more hand scrubbing! I was also able to get through all of the wood floors (1500 sq ft) on one large tank! Hydro Steam has been great for my bathrooms. The machines size also makes it fit well in smaller spaces. My favorite feature is how easy it is to clean. I find myself doing small jobs every day or so because of how easy it is to use. It's also very handy to be able to clean area rugs with the same machine. The only things that I would change are the weight and the light that stays on when it's plugged in but shut off. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone that wants to clean more often and is looking for something easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is not a single thing I do not love about this all-in-one vacuum, it is the peak of efficiency and convenience. Bissell has truly hit it out of the park. I have been a long-time Bissell customer, specifically of the Crosswave models. I purchased our first Crosswave in 2019 and thus began our appreciation of the series. Since then, I have also acquired the Pet Pro (our home has 5 kiddos, 3 dogs, and 3 cats so we need all the help we can get). I have loved both that I have, but this one-the Crosswave HydroSteam- is absolutely my favorite. It cleans my floors flawlessly with minimal effort and elbow grease from me. The various mode types all have certain situations to use them in, and they are so easy to switch between! If there is a sticky mess, which happens more than I'd like to admit (again, 5 kids), the hydrosteam mode takes it off in no time at all. Since this version has the steam, it seems better equipped to pull in the water residue on the floor after "mopping". I have vinyl, tile, and hardwood in my floor-none of which I want to leave water sitting on, and the vacuum pulls up 98% of that water residue. All of the vacuum modes are extremely powerful, I'm not sure if it is because it is corded, but it is great. I have yet to encounter a mess it doesn't clean up within moments. Once I am done cleaning with it, I need to clean the vacuum itself (you don't want to leave it dirty- after all it is a cleaning device, it needs to be clean in order to clean my floors properly). Cleaning the vacuum is so easy, it takes less than a minute. The vacuum, on top of cleaning my floors, also cleans itself. Once clean, it sits in a corner (taking up minimal space) and is available on a moments notice. My only complaint - a small one - is that I wish the cord had an extra 10-15 feet on it. Cleaning is normally a time consuming endeavor since I have to sweep first and then mop. This product saves quite a bit of time and I am very pleased with the results.

Whether I need to clean up spills, spot clean up after my pet, or even do a full-blown steam sanitation, the Bissell Crosswave Hydrosteam is the perfect cleaner for the job. This all-in-one multi-surface cleaner is the perfect addition to any household. It's simple to put together out of the box. The directions are easy to read. There are even pictures to follow along with. Once it was put together, I just needed to add water and solution to the removable water tank. The water tank is even marked with lines showing me how much of each to put in. This cleaner has three modes. It has a vacuum, wash, and steam mode. I like that it's a multi-surface cleaner as well. It can be used to clean sealed wood floors, laminate, tile, and even area rugs. Once I press the power button, I can choose one of the three illuminated choices; steam wash, hard floor, or area rug. There is even a When I recline the machine, the roller begins to spin. Then, I decide if I want to use the solution and water by holding the button, or releasing it to vacuum up debris and water. This machine works really well. It vacuumed up debris like pet hair, grass, and crumbs, while washing my floor. It's easy to push back and forth and the head swivels. Cleaning out this machine was simple. I like that the dirty water tank contains a strainer stem that keeps debris away from the water, and makes cleaning it out effortless. When I am finished cleaning, there is even a clean out cycle that will help clean all of the components. The dirty water tank comes apart in pieces and makes it easy for me to reach into and clean it thoroughly. My floors look and feel cleaner. Overall, I really enjoyed using the Bissell Crosswave Hydrosteam and highly recommend it for your cleaning needs.
