The Bissell Crosswave is a solid performing wet dry vacuum that acts like a cross between a mop, vacuum, and rug shampoo-er. After using it, I think it is more of a deep cleaning tool than an everyday picker upper, and if you go into it with that expectation you won't be disappointed. It's simple to use and picks up dirt and gunk from floors and rugs that a regular vacuum won't. It also leaves a great smelling aroma! Unlike a regular vacuum, the brush roll is all cloth and acts like a mop. It's not the same as a vacuum brush roll and isn't as good at straight vacuuming. It's a bit cumbersome. This isn't a grab and go dust buster. It takes set up time to fill with cleaning solution and every time you finish you need to clean it out and air dry the parts. In conclusion, it's a great vacuum mop. Just don't expect it to be your everyday do-it-all household cleaner. It's more of a deep clean machine

I was grossed out and satisfied all at the same time with the dirty tank compartment. The strainer/hair catcher makes it super easy to clean out the compartment. And the Bissell solution with febreeze smells amazing. #sweepstakes

We have a 5000 sq ft home with tile, hardwood, and vinyl plank flooring PLUS we rescue dogs and have 8 fur-babies of all sizes. When the steam edition came out my husband brought one home and it is BY FAR the most perfect solution for us. It feels heavier and more substantial than the other versions, and the self-clean function is magic! The one thing I used to struggle with was keeping the internal parts clean so it would not emit a smell when I used it, but the steam version with the self cleaning function takes care of that now. I have recommended it to everyone I know. Hey Bissell - I will be happy to try out anything you need to test. We love your products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Crosswave HydroSteam works exceptionally well on my hardwood and tile floors. It really scrubs and I love how clean my floors are after using it. Also, the fact that I do not have to vacuum before mopping is wonderful. The all in one is truly a fantastic feature! The only thing I do not love about it are the parts I need to dump/clean when I am done. The self cleaning feature for the scrub brush is great though and works well. Overall, I definitely like it and would recommend it to others especially if you like super clean floors. You can get your floors vacuumed and mopped even when you do not have a lot of time because it's so quick. I received this CrossWave HydroSteam through the Stellar Testing Panel. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bissell kindly gave me this vaccuum for free so that I could review it. I was excited to use this vacuum the second I opened the box. The first thing I noticed was that the handle moves in all directions. It is extremely lightweight and has a light on the front. It removed a stain that every other product couldn't. Our house is mostly tile with a few area rugs and being able to go from one to the other made It super easy to use and the clean up was a breeze. Even my teenagers were excited to use it.

I have a weekly cleaning service who comes and mops and sweeps but this machine really showed me that my floors are still pretty dirty! It's easy to use and pretty versatile for different types of floors. I love how you can clean so much with it! It easily got kids messes like sticky juice spills and caked on play doh off the floor. I wish it were a little quieter but overall I think this is a great product and highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had the original Bissell for three years, and it worked great! With a growing family and house it was definitely time for an upgrade! We upgraded to this Bissell, cross wave hydro steam and hands-down, we should have done it sooner. Not only does it clean the floors so well, the sanitizing factor is exactly what I was looking for. As a mom of a toddler, it is ideal to have things clean, but we all know that is not always possible. This machine definitely ensures the ease of cleaning the floors after a toddler mess. I am 110% very impressed with the machine itself and the product. But what is even more impressive is the awesome customer service that Bissell has demonstrated. We had an issue with the initial purchase. FedEx reported that it was delivered to our house, and it was not. Bissell .com did not give us any hesitation, and quickly insured that we would receive a new shipment ASAP. So now, after a good solid week of using this product almost every day the only regret that I have is not purchasing it sooner. I will be purchasing from Bissell again! And I highly recommend that you do as well. Also, I was definitely not paid to say this. It's just truly that good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not be more in love with the Bissell Hydrosteam! First, lets be honest it is the prettiest vacuum with a beautiful rose gold handle. Most importantly, it saves so much time and effort as it is an all-in-one that vacuums, steams, and washes at the same time. This one product has reduced my cleaning time by at least 50% because I don't have to drag out my steamer, mop, bucket, and vacuum any more. Plus, I believe hydrosteam cleans and sanitizes better than my prior cleaning methods. I also LOVE that the product cleans itself with a self cleaning cycle. In the photos you will see the black tray which you put the vacuum in and once it's done there is a slot to the right to dry the tangle free roller brush! This product is well made and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for any easier way to clean their home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine absolutely rocks! The entire main floor of my home is made up of vinyl plank wood and area rugs and this machine conquered it all! The ease of switching between steam wash mode, rug and hardwood floor settings was one of my favorite features on the Bissell Crosswave Hydrosteam I could go from wood to carpet with the ease of clicking a button. I have three kids, two dogs and a husband so messes are a sure thing in my home, but the Crosswave was up to the challenge, not only was it able to pick up every breakfast crumb under my kitchen island it washed the sticky breakfast mess away all in one go! Gone are the days of vacuuming first and then washing the floors, I can conquer both at the same time using this, saving me time and effort!! At first look I thought the solution/water tank seemed small and wouldn't cover much ground but I was wrong, not only did one tank cover the majority of my main floor it left my floors feeling squeaky clean. The self cleaning mode was a bonus feature I didn't know I needed but now wouldn't buy a machine without it. I love that you can go directly on Bissell's website to repurchase the cleaning solutions and that they are affordably priced and go a long way! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ease of use: yes, this is easy to use. It's a bit heavy, so, that's the only con I can think of while in operation. Steam: I used this for the 1st time, and the steam won't appear til about 5-10min in. This may be coz of the start up process, or it just takes that long to create steam. Once it functions, it's good as it makes hard and dry messes easier to clean. After care: This is where I took away 1 star. There's alot of parts that require cleaning after the fact. It does a great job getting all the dirt and hairs, and the self cleaning of the roller is great. But the dirty container has so many parts (lid, filter, strainer, container). The interior gets really nasty as it does a great job cleaning the floor. The design can be improved by only having 1 or 2 parts to clean, instead of 4.
