[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cleaning out process is ridiculous. You have to clean out each piece, and then when you're all done it all has to sit.to dry. So be prepared to have to clean out yourr sink. And remember it's wet, so you have to clean it out right away. I have waited a week, and the smell was terrible. You can clean 1 room before you have to clean it out, or it will spit.out dirty water. I barely use it because it's just such a hassle. And yes hair gets wrapped around the 1 part. Also I thought the steam would clean the grout in my kitchen, but no such luck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Crosswave Hydrosteam All-in-One Multi-Surface Cleaner in mid October 2023. We have laminate flooring and 2 cats so I was eager to have something that would clean our floors and sanitize them. I have used this machine approximately once a month since I bought it and vacuumed with my trusty old Hoover in between times. When I pulled the Bissell out the other day, I had barely started cleaning my kitchen floor when there was a huge puddle of water on the floor! No water left in the cleaning solution tank. The cap on the solution bottle was no longer sealing. I tried to suction up the water with the Bissell but it could not get all up; I wound up using towels to mop it up. My husband and I cut this defective P.O.S. with one of his saws and put it in the trash. I then vacuumed with my trusty old Hoover and then mopped the house with my generic Swifter-type mop. Bottom line - this thing did not even last 6 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this new CrossWave for both vacuuming and steam mopping and am very happy with the results. The suction power is very strong and the steam helps loosen any gunk on the floors for easy removal. My only issue with this item is the cord. I have a very large open-concept home and having to deal with the cord isn't my favorite feature as cordless has become so standard in recent years. However, the power that comes along with the cord in this case is substantial and I'm thrilled with the results. I would purchase again and would recommend to a friend.

Have to go over the floor several times. Too expensive for all of this. Best thing I can say is it is an electronic mop that vacuums

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a working mom of two kids I don't have a ton of time to clean so I was excited to get a chance to try out the Crosswave Hydostream combination vacuum and mop from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I put the mop through its paces both in the kitchen and in my daughter's play area. Pros: The suction and roller were good enough to pull up the play sand and fine glitter around my daughter's play table. Our wood floors have pretty deep grooves that trap these fine particles so the fact that they got picked up by this vacuum mop is impressive. I also liked being able to clean the small indoor/outdoor rug in our entryway with the wet vac. The vacuum pulled up most of the water and the thin rug dried quickly. Since the vacuum isn't battery powered there's no worry about running out of charge before the job is done. Cons: The vacuum is really loud, which would make it tough to use if others are in the house doing work or if a baby was napping. Also the steam function wasn't great at cleaning the tiles and grout around the stove, which get more grimy. I wasn't able to get the mop to unstick some paint or play dough that had gotten onto the wood floors either. I went over the affected areas in hardwood floor and steam modes to no avail. The play dough got soft enough to scrape off with my hands, but the roller wouldn't pick it up. I also tried this mop on a thicker pile area rug, but I wouldn't recommend it as it got really wet and didn't clean well. Finally there is a bit of a learning curve to using the mop. The steam function uses the water/soap solution really fast, so you have to be strategic about using it. Also there's no indicator when the dirty water tank is full, but you will all of a sudden loose suction. You also need to remove the floating filter from the dirty tank first or the filter will fall out making a mess. The instructions for the self cleaning mode are also confusing and it took a couple of tries to figure that out as well, but it does work okay.

It works amazing the steam is a blessing. The only issue I have ever had with crosswaves is the wheels wear quickly and need replacing.

With it being out a little out of my price range and scouring the mixed reviews I could never commit to purchasing it. So when I was given the opportunity to review it for free in exchange for my honest review I was beyond excited. After using it for a few weeks I must say not only is it a game changer for keeping my home clean but it's worth every penny! If I would've know how amazing this wet dry vac was I would've purchased it much sooner. Don't let negative reviews dissuade you, it's amazing! With 4 kids, 3 cats, and 3000 sq ft of mixed flooring (wood, vinyl, and area rugs) this thing is a life and time saver. It literally saves me hours of cleaning, but the best part is it's ability to clean up after my pets. Cat fur and odor was always my biggest issue in keeping a tidy home. Not only does it clean up and cut down on cat fur so much but it does so without it clogging or damaging the machine. It also has solved my ongoing fight with cat odors. If you have pets this is the machine for you!!!

First, this wet/dry vac is easy to assemble. Click in the handle and you're ready to go! I have 3 kids, 2 black labradors, 3 cats and a husband. To say the least my floors get super dirty. The amount of time and energy it takes to keep them clean is crazy! But not since I have received the Crosswave Hydrosteam.It literally has cut my cleaning time down so much! The Crosswave picks up all the dirt and hair quickly and easily. It makes the floors so clean and the hydrosteam function disinfects all while you are vacuuming! This is so much better than dragging out my old mop! It works great on my rug under my dining table as well. It picked up so much dog hair! I love this wet/dry vac! I highly recommend this especially if you have kids and pets! Cleaning the Crosswave is simple and easy and a lot faster than cleaning my mop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this wet and dry vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have owned other crosswaves in the past, but this one takes the cake. The ability to vacuum and wash the floor simultaneously is an absolute game changer. With a house of 5 dogs and two small children, it is a constant battle to keep our floors clean. In the past it was a task to vacuum the floor then pull out a mop bucket and mop, now I can do it all in one step. We have a large mastiff that drools as she is waiting for us to fill her dog bowl and the drool tends to cake onto the floor infront of the bowl, the cross wave had no problem breaking it down and cleaning it away. My wife and I especially like the hydro steam ability for sanitizing the floor as we have a baby who's beginning to crawl. My favorite thing about the crosswave hydro steam is the self clean mode. In the past it was such a pain to break down and clean other products, this eliminates some of that and makes it a faster process to get back to what ever you need to do next. I highly recommend this if you have animals and or children.

The CrossWave® HydroSteam™ Plus Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vac was easy to put together and came with a variety of cleaners. Our Great Dane drools water and food around his food tray, making our tile floor very dirty, leaving a film, which becomes very difficult to clean. The wet vac made cleaning the tile floor, especially the dog's area, easier to clean and like new! We have multi-surface and carpet flooring, so the cleaners included will last us a good while. Overall, I am very happy with the results and would recommend to others.
