[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell Crosswave Hydrosteam multi-surface floor cleaner for free to provide my honest opinion and feedback about the product. By providing honest feedback, I hope to help other consumers decide whether to purchase something or not. I'm the type that is always trying to find something that will help shorten the amount of time I spend cleaning. I have a 3000 square foot home, and all the flooring is hard surface, even my stairs. Over the years, I have owned most products from most of the brands available for purchase. I currently own three different steam from well known brands. I also own another brand floor cleaner from last year. After dragging around the mop to clean my house, it became a chore that took forever. I started to dread the day I would mop and clean the floors in each room. I have a large family with five children, two dogs, a cat, a bird, and guinea pigs. I do cleaning and ensure the mess is off the floor many times during the day. After using the regular mop over and over, the floor still had caked-on dirt that I would have to hand scrub. I thought the previous floor cleaner I purchased last year was the solution; it helped cut my cleaning time down. The Bissell cleaner arrived, and I had no expectations before using it. The day prior to using the Bissell, I had cleaned all the rooms with the other floor cleaning machine. Upon using the Bissell and seeing how much dirt it cleaned off the floor, it was a total shock. It's lightweight, swivels, turns easily, and is easy to move from room to room; it also comes with a long cord, which is useful. To start with, it is a vacuum, floor cleaner, and steam mop. I found the vacuum function to be useful, as it saved me time by eliminating the need to vacuum before mopping or cleaning the floor. It does have a difficult time squeezing into tight spaces. After using turn on self-cleaning mode, 2 minutes later it's cleaned out it's self. Best on hard surface flooring, Okay on lg. area rugs.

I have an older cordless Crosswave (I think it's the first generation of cordless) and I was so disappointed in it. It did a terrible job, was difficult to clean, just all around not good. But this one is WORLDS different. Everything that was wrong with my old one is fixed with this model. (This one is not cordless, however.) I absolutely love the steam feature. It had my rugs AND my tile floors absolutely sparkling. I tried to take before and after photos of a stain on my rug, but the camera just wasn't picking it up. You'll have to trust me when I say that the stain was GONE with very little effort. It's easy to use and easy to clean. I have 4 cats, a dog, and a 2 year old so our floors need a lot of cleaning. This is the perfect tool for the job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved using this wet and dry vacuum that I was given to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The three modes conquered crayon on tile, orange juice on hardwood, and the usual sticky messes under our highchairs. I loved the steam mode and how little effort it took to clean up sticky and dried on messes, as well as play dough that had gotten ground into our grout. It was nice to know that not only were the messes gone, but the steam and solution cleaned the floors as well. The machine was easy to use and easy to clean up afterwards I love that it has places on the storage tray to dry its parts after use. Remembering which mode to use for which messes and having to consult the tag attached for instructions and specifications was the only downside, and I think after some time, I will come to rely on it less and less as the vacuum becomes a part of our everyday life. It is a dream and takes the place of several other devices we use to clean. I love that! It's been a dream for this family and all of our spills and messes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Will start this by saying I did not receive this product in exchange for my review, and paid full price for my crosswave. I have had multiple crosswaves, most recently the pet pro and completely wore it out between my home & my client's homes that I clean. I was very excited to see this new model that offered the steam feature as well as the tried and true wet/ dry vacuum and mop combo that I have grown to love. I am the proud mother of four young children, a husband who works construction & a bulldog. So to say my floors see it all, that is not an exaggeration. I love that this product keeps things fast & simple to clean up messes. Any busy mom will tell you, we are always looking for ways to simplify our lives and keep it quick! The steam feature is great for sanitizing, which will give me peace of mind when my youngest begins to crawl. I enjoy the self cleaning method, but to me, it's kind of pointless when you still have to take the machine apart to clean it after each use. I also wish this product got closer to baseboards and went under and around furniture a little better, but those are my only "cons". I definitely recommend the upgrade if you currently have a different model crosswave, and if you're new to the crosswave family, I highly recommend you give it a try! I will never be without a crosswave in my cleaning appliance line up!

It is reliable and most important cleans ceramic tile and laminate floors without streaking or leaving residue. It is important to run clean water through the machine after each use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new go to cleaning tools for my floor. This 3 in 1 device is wonderful. I say three and one because it cleans my floors it steams my floors it doesn't leave a ton of water behind and I can also do my rugs. It's Sleek looking and I love the light at the base which lets me see into every crevice and dark spot. I have hardwood floors and area rugs all throughout my first floor and this did wonderful on all of the surfaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Bissell in exchange for my review, but hands down, this is a must-have that I would buy. It is a beautiful black and gold design. The best difference from my precious vac is that you pull a trigger to release the water and formula (and steam option!!) and release the trigger to suction. The dirty container has a wonderful filter that list out to help clean the hair and dry particles from the water. The water and formula lines are clearly marked to fill for large or small areas. The roller brush has nice little bristles throughout it. Cons: Corded, white roller brush (afraid this will get so dirty looking. Would prefer dark). and it may just be a small adjustment for me because of my previous VAC, but I keep hitting the mode button instead of the off button.

It combines my usual mop,broom and vacuum routine. making cleaning up my home on the daily a lot more efficient. I have hardwood floors and some tiling in the bathrooms usually having to go over them in a ritual of sweeping then mopping I was pleased to have the pleasure of completing my tasks in one go. I love the light which helped me to see in hard to see places. The multi surface brush roll was absolutely a wonder at collecting my goldendoodle's fur and getting up sticky meses left behind by my kids, it was light weight not bulky with a beautiful design But i took the most joy in not having to touch the dirty water to change it so thank you Bissell for such an amazing product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to BzzAgent, I got to try the BISSELL Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vacuum for free! At first, I was skeptical about the power of this little vacuum. The svelte footprint, single roller, and modestly sized water tanks pointed to small spill cleanup at best. With just one use, though, it was instantly clear that this little vacuum has what it takes to keep up with our busy household. We have two teenagers, three dogs, and my husband is an auto tech with a love for souping up his own cars. Beyond that, we have an outdated home with tired floors always in need of cleaning. My 13-year-old son and I tried out this vacuum together. Setting up the unit was super simple. We just had to click the handle in place and then fill the clean water tank up. Then, pour the pet cleaner until the level reached the second line and screw the cap on. The clean water tank clicks back into place quite easily and without dripping all over. There are three settings on the vacuum, depending on whether you want to clean rugs, hard floors, or use the steam feature. We started with the hard floor setting, and it worked great. Next, we tried the steam feature. The instructions say to wait 30 seconds for the steam to start. We turned the unit on, switched it to steam, and waited to no avail. You actually have to squeeze the trigger and start cleaning, and then the unit will release steam in 30 seconds. Within just a few minutes, we were surprised that the steam vac could actually get the embedded dirt out of the grooves. Nothing else does that! The self-clean cycle was easy to do as well, although final cleanup of the unit took more time than I liked. We had to take the roller out of the vacuum to dry, empty and rinse out the dirty water tank, remove and clean the filter, and dump out the clean water tank. Overall, I would say that the BISSELL Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vacuum is a great addition to our household and will get used often, especially after the dogs track mud through the house.
