I really want to love this machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am replacing a cordless Bissell model that lasted less than 2 years. I am not super pleased that this one has a cord, but I should've read better. It picks up better than my cordless. It was impressive. But it is so LOUD. I could use my other after everyone went to bed. That will not be possible with the 3518. But I am going to keep it because I love the cleaning power & the fact that it dries quicker with steam. But seriously, it gave me a headache.
Great all in one tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The all-in-one vacuum steam cleaner is a game-changer. Previously I owned separate steam cleaners and vacuum and this tool means I only need one! Its efficiency and versatility make cleaning more convenient and enjoyable, and its ability to handle tough messes with SteamWash mode set it apart. Not only that, the seamless transition from vacuuming to steam cleaning is my favorite feature. It's convenient and eco-friendly, reducing the need for harsh chemicals. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
A solid wet and dry vac!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the opportunity to try out the CrossWave HydroSteam as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, I was quite impressed with this all-in-one vacuum. It certainly changed the way I approach cleaning tasks, making them more efficient. My favorite feature was its ability to handle sticky and stuck-on messes. The vacuum's combination of wet and dry capabilities allowed it to effectively break down and lift these types of messes, saving me a lot of effort and time. I appreciated not having to scrub or scrape as much. Using the SteamWash mode was a unique experience. While it did add an extra step to the cleaning process, I found it to be quite effective on certain surfaces and stains, notably my tile and hardwood flooring. It provided a deeper clean than previous machines I've owned. The fact that it can vacuum, wash, and steam all in one machine is a real time-saver. I appreciated the convenience of not having to switch between different devices during my cleaning routine. In conclusion, I think the CrossWave HydroSteam offers a practical and efficient way to handle various cleaning tasks. While the SteamWash mode adds a bit more complexity, the benefits it brings to certain situations are worth the extra step. You can't do wrong using this, especially if you have hardfloor floors or tile!
Powerful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this wet and dry vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First impressions; taking it out of the box, it felt pretty hefty. It looks beautiful and is very high quality. I love that it has 3 modes, my favorite is the HydroSteam - hands down. The self cleaning feature is amazing and it really cleans not only the tank, but it cleans the brush really well. I have two kids under 2 years old and a large breed dog. We also live in the country on 80 acres of farm land. Needless to say, our floors are always dirty. I never feel like they can get clean enough.... Enter the CrossWave HydroSteam. The steam mode is a game changer! I no longer have to pre-treat sticky messes from my toddler! I also love to know that my floor is totally sanitized so I can worry less if my toddler eats something off the floor or for when my infant starts to crawl. The only con is that it is not cordless. However, this item is built for quality and if it were cordless you would loose a lot of the amazing power/suction the CrossWave HydroSteam has. The cord is pretty long though and I found I didn't have to move plugs too often.
Works greaat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is a must for me now, I love that I dont have to sweep and no more worrying about mop water and bucket. It works so great and the steam option is amazing on hard stains. Super easy to use, you just click the button until it gets to the option you want to use and the lit up picture is easy to see which option is selected.
Amazing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before getting the Crosswave Hydrosteam I used to vacuum my floors and then get out the mop and finish by moping. The Crosswave Hydrosteam allows me to vacuum messes around my house and instantly start moping without having to stop. My floors aren't too dirty since I clean them twice a week but the grout can sometimes get dirty in between deep cleaning. The steam setting loosens the dirt right up and they look noticeably cleaner by the time I am done. I think by far the steam option on the vacuum is my favorite part. I made it a point to clean my bathroom floors with the steam after moping them with a regular mop and I was shocked at how much dirt it picked up. I was gifted this Cosswave Hydrosteam by the stellar product testing panel and I could not be happier with it. My problem with having machines like these in the past has been cleaning the actual machine... not this time. This Crosswave Hydrosteam comes with a self clean setting that makes it incredibly easy to clean and store the pieces on the storage base to dry. The included cleaning solution smells amazing too and I already ordered the full size bottles.
Good vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the CrossWave Hydrosteam wet and dry vacuum as a part of the Stellar Testing Panel. We were hoping it would be a perfect replacement for our steam mop that had just died. Unfortunately, the Hydrosteam function was not as strong as we needed to keep up after big messes from our toddlers and dog. The steam mop function cleaned up general messes, but really sticky stuff didn't come off of our vinyl floors. That being said, I loved that it was a vacuum and mop in one. That dual functionality saves a ton of time and space for storage. I will definitely be using this in our every day cleaning to get rid of the day-to-day messes, but will need something a bit stronger to tackle the really tough messes. Another great thing about this vacuum is that it is so easy to clean! That makes me want to use more often than other tools. I also like the separate compartments for clean and dirty water. Overall this is a good vacuum cleaner!

Simple to use floor cleaner.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell Crosswave from the BzzAgent group for free to give my honest review on it. It is about the size of a portable "shark" vacuum. It comes with three small bottles of cleaner: hard floor steam sanitizer, multi-surface cleaner with Febreze that claims it removes pet odors, and a bottle of "Freshstart" cleaner for use in the automatic cleaning cycle. I cleaned my lightly colored, cheap apartment "stone" tile kitchen and bathroom floors with the Crosswave. They are cleaned 3x a week by a Roomba and mopped once by a Braava robot mop. The Crosswave still pulled up a surprising amount of dirt using the regular hard floor mode. It removed most surface stains that were present, but didn't do much for ground-in stains in front of the door, by the counters and stove where we often stand, since this floor seems semi-porous but it lightened them a little bit. The Crosswave is a bit loud, as most vacuums and floor cleaners would be expected to be. It is not that heavy. It is simple to use, add water to the small area or large area line, and add the desired cleaner to the second line, and pop the tank in the back. It slides in and out of place easily. The dirty water tank comes out easily with a pinch of a hinge. It contains an air filter, and a strainer to catch larger debris. The Crosswave has three modes, steam, hard floors and area rugs and one button switches between then after you turn it on. It does not say if you could use it on larger carpeted areas. Once you've filled it and plugged it in, you simply press a trigger to release the fluid and release it to dry and scrub the floor with the spinning brush. The floor dried very quickly after vacuuming so that is a definite plus over regular mopping. Instructions could be clearer for using the automatic cleaning cycle. It says to fill water and cleaner to the cleanout line, but the cleanout line is 80% of the way up and there isn't a second line for the soap. It only used a small amount of water.
HydroSteam makes Bissell CrossWaves even more awesome!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam is great at everyday cleaning and tough kid & pet messes on a variety of floor types and area rugs. The proof can easily be seen in the dirt cup! With kids and a dog, we regularly have gunk stuck onto our floors. This machine does a good job of removing stuck on grime without going over an area repeatedly or by hand like we used to. We also love that this machine vacuums as it cleans, so it saves us time! Overall, this is the best all-in-one wet/dry we've ever used! It's super easy to set up and use, and swivels in all kinds of directions so you can easily get around obstacles. There are multiple modes (SteamWash, hard floor, and area rug). I prefer SteamWash because it adds heat to the water (without bursting out steam, so it's safe on my floors). I feel like it sanitizes better than other wet/drys and the floors dry much quicker: 3-4 mins. instead of 10-15. This is a win-win for me: I feel like my floors are cleaner and I don't have to keep my family off of them for so long! Also, this model has large leak-proof clean and dirty tanks so you can clean for a long time without stopping. The LED lights make it easier to see what you're cleaning. Even though this CrossWave HydroSteam unit is almost 2 lbs. heavier than the X7 CrossWave Pet Pro model I've used, I'd recommend this over the cordless. I don't have to worry about the battery dying, the cord is a generous 25 ft. long, and HydroSteam is amazing (that's my favorite feature!) Another plus is how easy it is to clean up after using it. My only beef is that although this has a generous 9.5" cleaning path, it doesn't clean right up to the wall well, so I have a small bit of extra care to do at the edges. I don't feel it's a deterrent from purchasing this vac. This machine is a great value. If you're skeptical, the color of the tank after one pass will convince you that you need this product! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this wet and dry vacuum!
In between cleans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to review from BzzAgent. Overall, I thought the CrossWave® HydroSteam™ Plus Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vac worked well. Having a golden retriever the worst part about doing my hardwood floors is having to swiffer or vacuum before mopping. This vacuum saved me a step and that's enough of a win for me! The machine seemed to clean the floors well (both hardwood and tile). The only downside was that you have to hold the button down the entire time and it's not very ergonomically friendly.
