I bought it for carpet, but I used on my tile floors and was elated that it worked so well and was so much easier than my mop and bucket. It was easy to assemble and easy to take apart to clean the parts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this on my ceramic tile floors and it does a decent job. The floors look a little dull when I finish, unlike when I use a bucket and mop. My biggest complaint is, like all upright cleaners, there's no way to get under furniture. I do like that I don't have to pre-vacuum the floor. Clean up is a little time consuming but that's to be expected for all this machine does. Overall I'm happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another cool product from Bissell. I have a long hallway and good sized bathroom with tile and I hate mopping. I can use the Crosswave and get them done quickly. It doesn't clean right up to the wall but you can't expect it to do everything. I can just quickly run a swiffer along the walls and finish up. Easy to take apart. Easy to clean out. Has an awesome self-cleaning mode, which I absolutely love. I imagine cleaning the brushroll each time would be zero fun. So self-cleaning is awesome.

Luckily, only one fairly small area is affected, but it was out of control. This machine, on the very first use, made quick work of cleaning and deodorizing that area! It worked even better on the floors that didn't present such a challenge. The self-cleaning feature made cleanup a snap! Love, love, love this machine.

If you have a dog that sheds a lot though, you have to really keep up with cleaning the vacuum because it can't hold a ton of hair. I have to stop and clean it probably two times while vacuuming my whole house and then I clean it out one last time, and do the self clean When I am done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought an old, wool, hand knotted oriental rug. Paid a LOT to have it cleaned. Ran my new Crosswave over it the other day (in area rug mode) and was shocked at how much dirt it pulled out. Not impressed with my cleaner but very impressed with my Crosswave.

I LOVE my new CrossWave HydroSteam! This is my second CrossWave and I am very happy with my purchase! I typically vacuum and then steam my tile floors. The HydroSteam can do all of that and is great for quick cleanups. I love the small area/rug cleaning capability.

This was the perfect choice to quickly sanitize small messes from our puppy or completely clean the pergo floors throughout our whole house after after our boys have been playing outside tracking in grime. I'll never be able to go back to using a standard mop or any of the other hard floor cleaners.

The Crosswave is the most complete floor cleaning tool I ever purchased. I used it on my hardwood floors, stone kitchen floor and my area rugs. However, an hand held cleaning wane would be a bonus plus.
