I was hoping that the Bissell would do as advertised. I took the chance. Knowing the price was somewhat more than I wanted to pay. But for once I believe I got what I paid for. This unit does everthing I was hoping to find in a floor ckeaner

This was the perfect choice to quickly sanitize small messes from our puppy or completely clean the pergo floors throughout our whole house after after our boys have been playing outside tracking in grime. I'll never be able to go back to using a standard mop or any of the other hard floor cleaners.

I have had several of the crosswaves but this one is definetly my favorite. THe suction is very powerful wasn't sure about going back to the corded but it is worth it for this increased power and steam!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vacuum itself is great. The concept is great. It came with several cleaners included and the brush rolls are great. However, there were several issues. First off, if you have a huge place to clean, you will constantly have to empty out the dirty tank water and keep refilling the clean water tank. Apart from that, as a family of 8 people (6 kids), this is just not effective. We thought that the dual feature of the vac-mop would help keep the floors clean. It is a lot more time-consuming to clean the same area with this machine than I could have manually done with a broom and mop in half the time. You need to repeatedly go over areas for it to clean them at times. Apart from that, at times, the vacuum would start dispensing dirty water over the clean floor. And lastly, clean-up of the vacuum is a hassle. Everything needs to be hand-washed and air-dried before the next use. Then we thought that we could use this as quick in-between regular cleaning. The vacuum still needs to be cleaned up after every use, be it an extensive clean-up or a quick in-between clean-ups. The whole point of multiple features like vac-mop, and steam mode is to get the job done better and effectively in less time. Practically does not work that way. Other than that, the vacuum itself is great, just does not work for my needs.

Used it for serious cleaning (after vacuuming, lots of dog hair) and only had do the wall edges by hand. Not a big deal since I had do the baseboards also. No streak's!! That is my worst pet peeve. Did not leave floors wet. Clean, streak free floors, worth every penny! Easy cleanup for wet and dirty paw prints. Also, was easy to clean the machine after use, making it easy to use for quick cleaning or clean-up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 7 cats so I have a lot of pet hair and litter, the sticky clay kind when it's wet. So cleaning the machine isn't fun. It's very messy because of the liter and hair. But the cleaning is quicker. I think I'll still need to per vacuum then use the cross wave to get all the stuff that is missed. I have 2 Labradors and this machine has more cleaning power works in edges and picks up shedding fur , water drips and the freshness left behind after use is amazing!!! The only wish would be for the cord to be a little longer and that I wish I would have had it years ago ! Thank you BISSELL for making my life easier
