[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 2 large dogs, porcelain plank floors throughout half the house and a crawling toddler. We had a simple steam mop but it couldn't keep the floors clean and the toddler constantly had filthy hands/knees/socks despite repeated moppings. We used the Crosswave HydroSteam for the first time with the floor sanitizer and it deep cleaned the floors and now we can send the toddler home at the end of the day without having to bathe him first! I was astonished at how much muck it picked up from my floors and I can't be happier to have such a lightweight and effective floor cleaner!

I was hoping that the Bissell would do as advertised. I took the chance. Knowing the price was somewhat more than I wanted to pay. But for once I believe I got what I paid for. This unit does everthing I was hoping to find in a floor ckeaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have over 2000 sq ft of hardwood flooring in my home and it's been a challenge keeping it all vacuumed and mopped regularly. I also have 2 dobermans and an aussie that make keeping the floors clean an even bigger challenge since we live in the country and they are constantly tracking mud and debris inside. After my previous floor cleaning machine broke it took me a while of researching what floor cleaners were available and trying to decide which one would be best for my particular needs. I decided to purchase the Bissell Hydrosteam. I've used it twice now since receiving it last week. So far I like the way it cleans the floors and to be honest were quite dirty. It cleaned very well. Some areas I had to go over more than once but again that was due to the floors being dirtier than they normally would be. I was looking forward to also using the hydrosteam on my area rugs as well but for some reason it just wouldn't work on my area rugs. The suction was just strong and then the machine would stop working and the hardfloor and area rug lights would start flashing. At that point I would have to turn the machine off and then turn on again to get it to start working again. I checked that I had the hydrosteam set on the right correct setting but apparently there's an issue with my area rugs. A little disappointing given being able to clean the area rugs was one of the compelling factors as to why I went with the hydrosteam. The vacuum and mopping at the same time definitely makes my floor cleaning easier. The clean cycle is quick and easy after each use. I wish the water tank and waste tank were larger so I wouldn't have to stop so frequently and empty the dirty water tank. However I'm pleased with everything other than not being able to clean my area rugs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I also have the Battery CrossWave Wet Dry Vac machine which does a good job cleaning our tile floors, but we like the CrossWave HydroSteam Wet Dry Vac because of the Steam feature that it has. Does a good job getting unseen dirt from the tile floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful suction, its amazing what this machine will pick up. I am disappointed in the steam feature. I expected more steam. Very little steam and the carpet is not even warm from the little steam it does put out.

Bissell fulfilled my expectations of just how fabulous and time saving the combo is!! This is my second cross-wave. The first one is still going strong after three years, but I have an Airbnb and decided to leave one in the cottage. I kept the new and improved one for me! Steam has been added. I have tile, but lots of rugs. I do every surface with my cross-wave. I follow directions, clean frequently, and it's a beautifully working tool!! I just can't do without it!! Thank you Bissell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Bissel. I bought my first one more than 5 years ago. Never broke down mechanically, but it was leaking a lot of water, to my surprise all I had to do was get a new Clean Tank, which I did, and it started working just like before, but I had bought the HydroSteam just try it out and I am definitely keeping it, and giving away my old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Crosswave works ok. It struggles at times to lift stuck on items on the floor. The steam helps, but it works about 60% of the time. It does pick up loose dirt very good. I like the little pan inside the dirty cup to pick up the big items. Works great. I also like the self cleaning mode. Overall it is a good system, maybe make to cleaning brushes a little stiffer to help pull off items stuck on the floor would definitely help
