It works great, love the versatility. Doesn't beat hands and knees but would pick this over regular mopping. Even tackled winter weather salt. Easy clean up and the self cleaning mode works great. I've been shopping for a year for the perfect product and I'm so glad I waited for the steam option to be included with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome!! I have all tile floors and some rugs all through out my house, and keeping them clean and looking nice is a HASSLE! With four kids aged 10-4, 2 dogs, and 2 cats, there always seems to be an unknown sticky substance, muddy paw prints, mud from cleats, or just a random mess on the floor at any given time! Before it would take several sprays with cleaner, and then several swipes with a mop to get up the sticky situation, NOW with the crosswave, one (two if it's SUPER stubborn) pass over the spot cleans it, leaving the area sparkling and clean! The steam setting is amazing for helping to sanitize the floors and get that shine! The hard floor clean setting is PERFECT for every day use, and the area rug setting is amazing when needing to clean those nasty rugs!!! The self clean feature is easy to use, making cleanup and storage a breeze! The only downside is it's slightly heavy, but overall no more heavy than a vacuum, considering all it does! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A couple years back we purchased a Bissel Crosswave and absolutely loved it!! You can't go wrong. But recently I got the new Crosswave Hydrosteam and it's a game changer!!! The added steam function cleans so much deeper and helps loosen dirt trapped between the slats of older wood floors. The first time I used it on our wood floors I went over it 3 times and the water was near black EACH time. I was shocked. We keep a clean house but we also have 3 dogs and teenage boys in and out all the time. I highly recommend you upgrade to the Hydrosteam if you are able to.

It was easy to put together, instructions on how to use were right there on the machine. Using it, made cleaning floors so easy. Vacuums and mops and steam. What else do you need? Our floors look and smell clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this wet and dry vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First impressions; taking it out of the box, it felt pretty hefty. It looks beautiful and is very high quality. I love that it has 3 modes, my favorite is the HydroSteam - hands down. The self cleaning feature is amazing and it really cleans not only the tank, but it cleans the brush really well. I have two kids under 2 years old and a large breed dog. We also live in the country on 80 acres of farm land. Needless to say, our floors are always dirty. I never feel like they can get clean enough.... Enter the CrossWave HydroSteam. The steam mode is a game changer! I no longer have to pre-treat sticky messes from my toddler! I also love to know that my floor is totally sanitized so I can worry less if my toddler eats something off the floor or for when my infant starts to crawl. The only con is that it is not cordless. However, this item is built for quality and if it were cordless you would loose a lot of the amazing power/suction the CrossWave HydroSteam has. The cord is pretty long though and I found I didn't have to move plugs too often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam is great at everyday cleaning and tough kid & pet messes on a variety of floor types and area rugs. The proof can easily be seen in the dirt cup! With kids and a dog, we regularly have gunk stuck onto our floors. This machine does a good job of removing stuck on grime without going over an area repeatedly or by hand like we used to. We also love that this machine vacuums as it cleans, so it saves us time! Overall, this is the best all-in-one wet/dry we've ever used! It's super easy to set up and use, and swivels in all kinds of directions so you can easily get around obstacles. There are multiple modes (SteamWash, hard floor, and area rug). I prefer SteamWash because it adds heat to the water (without bursting out steam, so it's safe on my floors). I feel like it sanitizes better than other wet/drys and the floors dry much quicker: 3-4 mins. instead of 10-15. This is a win-win for me: I feel like my floors are cleaner and I don't have to keep my family off of them for so long! Also, this model has large leak-proof clean and dirty tanks so you can clean for a long time without stopping. The LED lights make it easier to see what you're cleaning. Even though this CrossWave HydroSteam unit is almost 2 lbs. heavier than the X7 CrossWave Pet Pro model I've used, I'd recommend this over the cordless. I don't have to worry about the battery dying, the cord is a generous 25 ft. long, and HydroSteam is amazing (that's my favorite feature!) Another plus is how easy it is to clean up after using it. My only beef is that although this has a generous 9.5" cleaning path, it doesn't clean right up to the wall well, so I have a small bit of extra care to do at the edges. I don't feel it's a deterrent from purchasing this vac.This machine is a great value. If you're skeptical, the color of the tank after one pass will convince you that you need this product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical at first because this vacuum isn't very big. Also I have always been a Dyson fan! But this little machine is mighty! It pulled more pet hair out of my carpets then I knew was there. I love the way it breaks down for easy cleaning and storage! The cleaner and sanitizer smells amazing. This vacuum is a one stop shop! No need to sweep first just go! 10/10 think everyone needs one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the crosswave pet pro for two years which worked great but was soo jealous when the hydro steam came out! I was lucky enough to receive one through the Stellar Review Product Testing Panel and I couldn't be more thrilled. It's just as easy to use and the steam feature cleans like a dream. I spent a week deep cleaning our house after some yard work and our dog walking through it coated everything in dirt. The hydrosteam in steam setting was the deep clean I needed for our floors and area rugs and helped me completely reset. I like the self clean feature but find it easier to just give everything a quick rinse in the sink when I'm done using it. My only request would be that Bissell update the dirty water tank to fit enough water from the "large area" clean tank so I don't have to stop and start more than once. I love not needing to vacuum before I use it, and my neighbors borrowed it and loved it on their textured stone floors. I'm so glad I got this upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and am so excited about how much cleaner my home is after using it! We have three people and three pets in the house, including one very active large dog, so there is constantly dirt/mud/debris from outside being tracked through the house. I thought we kept things pretty clean on the hardwood and tile floors between regular sweeping and mopping, but wow did this machine prove me wrong! I was amazed by the dirt the steam function pulled out after having just cleaned them with a broom and mop the day before. Plus, the amount of time saved being able to vacuum and steam at the same time was incredible! It does a better job of cleaning tile and hardwood floors in half the time it used to take me. I definitely recommend this all-in-one vacuum to anyone who has an outdoorsy/active household, and especially if you're trying to save time in your regular cleaning routine!
