A Mother's Dream Helper
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved using this wet and dry vacuum that I was given to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The three modes conquered crayon on tile, orange juice on hardwood, and the usual sticky messes under our highchairs. I loved the steam mode and how little effort it took to clean up sticky and dried on messes, as well as play dough that had gotten ground into our grout. It was nice to know that not only were the messes gone, but the steam and solution cleaned the floors as well. The machine was easy to use and easy to clean up afterwards I love that it has places on the storage tray to dry its parts after use. Remembering which mode to use for which messes and having to consult the tag attached for instructions and specifications was the only downside, and I think after some time, I will come to rely on it less and less as the vacuum becomes a part of our everyday life. It is a dream and takes the place of several other devices we use to clean. I love that! It's been a dream for this family and all of our spills and messes.
This is a great cleaning system!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system is great for houses with hard surface floors, carpets, and area rugs. It is very easy to use with clear and concise instructions. The fresh water/solution bottle has 2 lines for filling, small area and large area. I have a smaller sized living/dining open concept space. I chosen to make the small area solution and ran out before I was finished. However, I tried out the area rug cleaner, and would have had extra had I not done so. It transitions very easily between steam cleaning, hard surface cleaning, and power washing for rugs and carpets. I used the pet solution, and my floor and rug was very clean! This system also has a hair and debris catcher, which is great for pets and folks with long haired people in the house. It has a auto clean cycle that is required after each use, and it is very fast and thorough!
This is it!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the Bissell I have been waiting for! They have taken every extra step to make the perfect combo cleaning machine for hard surfaces and kid/pet messes. It is so easy to use and I love that it doesn't leave messy streaky water lines on my floor. Cleaning up the machine is no longer a struggle. Previous steam mops I have tried always had these weird crevices that would build up dirt, but not this one. The extra accessories you get are a huge bonus too. If you have animals or young children, this multi surface vac is a must have!
Great Value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a good steam/vac for our wood floors after a long hiatus from cleaning them. I love my Bissel vac and looked into this as my best option for the buck. Not disappointed at all! Super easy to assemble and use. The water was black and icky My husband was very impressed as well! He took off his work boots b4 stepping inside for the first time. After this, NO MORE SHOES!
Simple to use floor cleaner.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell Crosswave from the BzzAgent group for free to give my honest review on it. It is about the size of a portable "shark" vacuum. It comes with three small bottles of cleaner: hard floor steam sanitizer, multi-surface cleaner with Febreze that claims it removes pet odors, and a bottle of "Freshstart" cleaner for use in the automatic cleaning cycle. I cleaned my lightly colored, cheap apartment "stone" tile kitchen and bathroom floors with the Crosswave. They are cleaned 3x a week by a Roomba and mopped once by a Braava robot mop. The Crosswave still pulled up a surprising amount of dirt using the regular hard floor mode. It removed most surface stains that were present, but didn't do much for ground-in stains in front of the door, by the counters and stove where we often stand, since this floor seems semi-porous but it lightened them a little bit. The Crosswave is a bit loud, as most vacuums and floor cleaners would be expected to be. It is not that heavy. It is simple to use, add water to the small area or large area line, and add the desired cleaner to the second line, and pop the tank in the back. It slides in and out of place easily. The dirty water tank comes out easily with a pinch of a hinge. It contains an air filter, and a strainer to catch larger debris. The Crosswave has three modes, steam, hard floors and area rugs and one button switches between then after you turn it on. It does not say if you could use it on larger carpeted areas. Once you've filled it and plugged it in, you simply press a trigger to release the fluid and release it to dry and scrub the floor with the spinning brush. The floor dried very quickly after vacuuming so that is a definite plus over regular mopping. Instructions could be clearer for using the automatic cleaning cycle. It says to fill water and cleaner to the cleanout line, but the cleanout line is 80% of the way up and there isn't a second line for the soap. It only used a small amount of water.
So impressed, highly recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remember when this came out, it was so popular. I knew alot of people that got it and said so many good things about it. I am so impressed! I love that I can use this on different floors in the house, rugs, laminate, hard wood, etc. It is so light weight, which is awesome! The vacuum alone works amazing. But the steamer on my hardwood is AMAZING! It makes the floor look so pretty and shiny! I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 crazy children... it seems so hard to ever make the floors look decent. I highly recommend this to everyone!
Great for deep cleaning hard wood floors and area rugs!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works really good cleaning hardwood floors and area rugs. The suction is amazing, after cleaning area rugs they are dry to the point of being able to walk in socks on them and your feet don't get wet. I would recommend taking out the roller before you vacuum up the wetness because the roller has a tendency to keep the the rug wet. As for the hardwood floors, they dry in a matter of minutes. I didn't feel that it works really good on linoleum. I felt that it left streaks. The instruction booklet that came with It didn't really give a lot of detail or directions for use, which I would've liked a little more. I wouldn't say that it would be good for spot cleaning only because it is kind of bigger and a little heavy to pull out every time you need to clean a spot but for your weekly or biweekly deep floor cleaning it's amazing. If there was a handheld option or a hose, that would make spot cleaning a lot easier on furniture as well as floors for pet owners.
I am a crosswave Queen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Will start this by saying I did not receive this product in exchange for my review, and paid full price for my crosswave. I have had multiple crosswaves, most recently the pet pro and completely wore it out between my home & my client's homes that I clean. I was very excited to see this new model that offered the steam feature as well as the tried and true wet/ dry vacuum and mop combo that I have grown to love. I am the proud mother of four young children, a husband who works construction & a bulldog. So to say my floors see it all, that is not an exaggeration. I love that this product keeps things fast & simple to clean up messes. Any busy mom will tell you, we are always looking for ways to simplify our lives and keep it quick! The steam feature is great for sanitizing, which will give me peace of mind when my youngest begins to crawl. I enjoy the self cleaning method, but to me, it's kind of pointless when you still have to take the machine apart to clean it after each use. I also wish this product got closer to baseboards and went under and around furniture a little better, but those are my only "cons". I definitely recommend the upgrade if you currently have a different model crosswave, and if you're new to the crosswave family, I highly recommend you give it a try! I will never be without a crosswave in my cleaning appliance line up!
Saves Headaches!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Puppies ate my old vacuum. I have cement floors so I spent quite a while just sweeping with a broom. I needed a new vacuum, but there were puppy messes - missed the pads, the pads leaked, etc. I would mop up the messes but was spreading hair around (under coat dogs so it's everywhere!) I needed something that would suck up wet and dry messes. For curiosity sake, I used my Bissell carpet cleaner on the bare floor to clean up some of the mess. It worked decently well, so I got to thinking that surely Bissell had thought of my particular issue and I was correct! I had been looking at this for a couple of months, saving up and finally got it!! I absolutely *love* it! it is very lightweight and does a great job getting up the nasties and also has a sanitizing steam function! It has a few limitations which is why I bought a Bissell ReadyClean cordless a week ago to help get into the spaces around the crates. I am disabled and rely on a seated rollator walker to maneuver around my house. This makes it a bit cumbersome to get out for a quick dry vac because I am fighting with the cord (which is another reason for the stick vac mentioned above). I do wish that I had saved up for the cordless model. That is my only regret!
Best wet dry vac!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing product that can be used on many types of flooring and for cleaning up different messes. Especially great for pets and all the cleanup they require. I have mostly tile and hardwood floors and some area rugs in my home and this vacuum fit all my needs! Definitely recommend!
